Singer/songwriter Tyler Farr is in the midst of earning his country music chops. Inspired as a growing teenager by his stepfather, a former guitarist for the late country legend George Jones, the Missouri native relocated to Nashville to try his hand at breaking into the business. And it’s working. After just a few months earning his keep as security at the city’s iconic honky-tonk Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, the young musician segued into regular concerts on the club’s stage, and nowadays onto the tour trail opening for the likes of Jason Aldean.
Farr’s raspy Southern accent complements his true country songwriting, which makes up more than half of his debut studio set, “Redneck Crazy.” And when he’s not performing for ticket holders on a club and theater trek, he’s writing tracks for Colt Ford (“Hey Y’all”) and Joe Nichols (“She’s Just Like That”), as well as co-writing with established country performer Rhett Akins.

It was the kind of atmosphere you see in music videos. Can't wait for Tyler's CD to be released and am looking for future concert dates with Tyler and Scott. My familiy and I are now huge fans

I have had a preorder for his at the time untitled & no artwork CD since December because his music is addicting. I'll be seeing him again on August 4th. Love his music! :)

Not only was it a very small crowd, but Tyler (and the Victory security) allowed all the concert goers to come up as close to the stage as possible! I want to go back and watch it all over again!!

by Ssmall on 7/15/13Victory Theatre - EvansvilleTyler Farr played this month at a small venue in town but you would have thought he was playing for a sold out stadium. I love that he purely looked like he was having so much fun and loving every minute of it regardless of how many people were there. He played his heart out and sang amazing. I will be buying his c.d.'s as long as he chooses to record them. I am stuck as a fan now. They were so grateful for the few people who showed up. They stayed and signed autographs at the merch table too! He is very funny in between songs too! Great stage presence! Great songs, great voice, great band....! all around, great! I'd pay to see him tomorrow if he came back!
