Singer/songwriter Tyler Farr is in the midst of earning his country music chops. Inspired as a growing teenager by his stepfather, a former guitarist for the late country legend George Jones, the Missouri native relocated to Nashville to try his hand at breaking into the business. And it’s working. After just a few months earning his keep as security at the city’s iconic honky-tonk Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, the young musician segued into regular concerts on the club’s stage, and nowadays onto the tour trail opening for the likes of Jason Aldean.
Farr’s raspy Southern accent complements his true country songwriting, which makes up more than half of his debut studio set, “Redneck Crazy.” And when he’s not performing for ticket holders on a club and theater trek, he’s writing tracks for Colt Ford (“Hey Y’all”) and Joe Nichols (“She’s Just Like That”), as well as co-writing with established country performer Rhett Akins.
This show was one of the best examples of the community that exists in Country Music. For these acts to come together both on stage and on screen to support our city in light of this terrible tragedy was amazing. They poured their heart and soul into this and we all felt it. Thank you so much!
i have never been so proud of the community. What K92FM was able to pull off in a week, was outstanding. The singers/bands were great, the honor that everyone gave to those affected by this horrible tragedy was first class. it was a very moving night with uplifting county music support-- couldnt have asked for more. Nine artists, all of whom I liked, coming together to help raise money after a tragedy. A really great vibe in the room, and great music.
The tribute to the victims and their families was amazing. It was a very powerful and moving experience. It is so touching that the artists agreed to play this show on such short notice to offer the community a few moments of relief from the tragedy that occurred in Orlando.
he didn't play his songs that he know for. didn't like his new ones at all.

Everything seemed like an afterthought. Sound was lousy, lights flashing in your eyes, I felt like I was at a high school talent show. Pick a better venue. I didn't enjoy walking through the smoke.
That voice though. Wow! I was supposed to be in the 2nd row but you know how them country girls pull you up out of your seat and make you dance in front of the stage. Amazing Night!
Venue was fantastic and the show itself was totally Amazing!! We are avid concert goers' and this show is in the top two for best show we've seen this year and we've done 20+ this year. Tyler was on stage for about 90mins which was phenomenal! We drove from Lancaster, PA for this show and it was well worth the drive!!!! We'd so do it again in a heartbeat.
He put on a great show and really played to the crowd.

I've never been to Maingate in Allentown, but the concert was amazing. Tyler slid out in to the audience and I was the first person he grabbed hold off and it shocked me I never imagined that he would come out in to the crowd. It was awesome loved every minute of it. Tyler kept the crowd alive.
This was an awesome show! Lots of interaction with fans, played variety of songs, sounded fantastic!
Sound system at Maingate was Horrible could barely hear words to songs at the back bar. Base and tremble were off. Did not care for opening act so hard to hear I dont even know name of who was singing. Tickets printed time of concert for 7pm when in fact concert did not start until 8;15. Opening act played until 845 and Tyler Farr did not take stage until 9;15 and concert ended at 10 pm. Very disappointed over all. Would not go back to see a concert at Maingate again. This was our first time at an event at Maingate.
Tyler Farr was a great performer but I was a little disappointed that he played only 4 of his own songs!! Tyler, you have an entire CD that every song is good, you should be promoting your new music not rapping like Flo Rida
