Raucous Fans & Epic Show!
by Fortress4The1 on 11/9/25Rating: 5 out of 5I've enjoyed Twenty One Pilots music for some time now. I wasn't big on them in the beginning. Album after album they grew on me. The last 2 albums, Clancy & Breach I feel like they have hit their sound and are getting better each album. So with that being said I've heard their live show is very impressive so I decided to drive down to LA to catch their last show on the current tour @ BMO Stadium in LA. The stadium sits in the hood next to USC. My 1st time @ this venue. It's a 24,000 seat Soccer stadium with not much surrounding it. Parking outside is a nightmare! Fork out the $80 to get parking inside the stadium lot. Not my favorite. The stadium is impressive for a show. Sound quality is top notch, amongst the best I've heard. They did not play some of my favorites Holding On To You, Cut My Lip, One Way, Car Radio, My Blood, The Hype, or Saturday. Twenty One Pilots have perfected quite show. Lots of bells and whistles packed into this thing. To start off the fans... OMG! Rabid, unique, devoted, festive, played the part and wore the costumes. They portray themselves as outcasts. Haven't seen anything like them. Raucus. Created quite the energetic environment. This was the 2nd night and based on what I could tell many fans showed up both nights. I would guess that at least 50% came to both shows. They knew what to do and when to do it at the exact time. Some of the songs I was not familiar with but these fans knew every song as if it were played every day of their life. The band is impressive for a 2 piece. Amazing sounds come from just 2 guys. Josh Dun plays drums and Tyler does the rest. He sings, raps, skats, plays bass, plays other guitars. They are in their own lane. If I had to describe them and who they sound like I would say they are a combination of the Killers, Coldplay, Foster the People and Pax 217, a Christian rap rock band. It is a huge production. Maybe the largest I've seen. They do have backing tracks , electronics and sound pumped in. I do not thing they sung every part but it didn't matter. Most of the songs I enjoy have great dynamics. The entire thing is a spectacle to behold. Professional sets, acting, etc. Lights, smoke, pyro, explosions, fire, cars, strobes, fireworks you name it. Tyler walks into the crowd several times, as does Josh. The songs are quite sing a long. They have guests participate with them. They are very interactive. I will never forget this concert. I'd love to see them again but tickets were tough to get for this one. They are expensive. I didn't have the best seats but they do come out to you walking and have sets at the opposite end of the stadium. Getting out was easy as I left before the last song played. It's the most cinematic concert and the most energetic crowd I'll probably ever witness and attend and for those reasons alone I give it a 5 stars. I think this band is the best Alternative Rock show going in the business. Best wishes to Tyler and Josh going forward into the next chapters.
