A thrilling interpretation of the well-known classic poem "A Visit from Saint Nicholas", this joyful show about the virtues of generosity and friendship promises to leave a lasting impression on families this holiday season. 'Twas the Night Before..., Cirque du Soleil's first-ever holiday production, is a whirlwind of love, holiday cheer, riotous fun, and adorably endearing characters that will establish a new tradition for families to treasure.

I have been to other Cirque shows which were amazing. Twas the Night Before Christmas is not worth seeing. Four good acts. The rest is filler. Myself and my family were bored. Do away with all the elf and mice scenes. They take up half the show and are a total waste of time. It seems like the stage was too small at The Met which limit what the performers could do. I feel like I completely wasted $500.
This was my first time going to any type of Cirque du Soleil show and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The lights, timing, costumes, story, dancers, talent, etc. were superb! The only negative experience was that the ushers seating people were not very considerate of those sitting behind them (which is unusual in my experience). They would sometimes stand in front of our seats (blocking our view) while talking to one another trying to figure out where seats were. They could have easily taken two steps to the left of them and not block the view for anyone. But other than that, the show was amazing!
Great way to celebrate the holidays. Fabulous melding of the cirque elements with a Christmas story.
This show made me smile from beginning to end! I loved everything about it. From the extremely talented performers to the mystical Christmas music to the amazing sets, this show had something for kids of all ages and completely embodied the "wonder of Christmas."I saw it twice and it was pure joy. I hope it will become a yearly tradition.
A complete show / with an easy line to follow , good artist . A special time for family . All the artists was amazing and the final was incredible
The performance was not even close to what I expected. I went to see Cirque Du Soleil year ago and it was fantastic. This time I felt that my 9 year old granddaughter could do it with some training. Way too many “performances” in between the main acts, that were really boring, I felt asleep, which was a first in my life and I have gone to many performances. Very disappointed.
This was an ok sideshow not the typical fantastic, amazing and gravity defying Cirque show that I’ve seen in the past. It’s a shame that the cost of the show didn’t support the quality. If I knew, I would’ve opted for a full/regular Cirque show. Story was nice, just not worth the cost. There was too much dancing and standing around vs actual acrobatic tricks.
Highly recommend this show. The performers were unbelievable. The excitement never stopped.
My partner and I were blown away! A lot of fun packed into 90 minutes. The talent takes your breath away and is entertaining for all ages. We will be going next year with family.
Loved the show! Only seven rows back and it was just a wonderful show. Beautiful Fox Theatre too
Cirque never fails to impress....kids had a great time!
If you have ever seen a real Cirque du Soleil , this was like a band of minor league trainees. Only one performance in the beginning was worthy of the name. Even the dancers had a limited repertoire and they were most of the show. Should not even be advertised as Cirque du Soleil. Not at all up to that standard.
Way to loud for the size of venue and crowd. Very disappointed in the show, no "wow"moments. Not taking anything away from the performers the have worked very hard for a very long time to perfect their craft and have nothing but respect for them. But to charge that amount for a ticket to be blasted with the music and then the mediocre stunts was disheartening. I've seen better acts on America's Got Talent. Completely disappointed and won't spend the money to see another show performed by this company.
Circus should be more than dance and throwing pillows. l was not impressed by this show compared to ECHO. Doesn’t worth it.
Ovens is small venue which was nice but limited the activities on the stage. We have been to other full shows where there was something going on 100% of the time everywhere on stage and above. The performance was good and the acts interesting just seemed to have a lot of slow time between the acts. Had a great family time with kids and grandkids. Just underwhelmed with the total performance compared to full venues we have seen.
Cirque de Soleil just keeps bringing it! The costuming, the music, the acrobatics, the creativity. Makes me feel like a kid again as I grin through the whole performance.
The Met is located on North Broad Street where there is minimal public parking and the surrounding neighborhood is gloomy and not pedestrian friendly. I doubt many guests used public transportation. We parked in a covered parking garage under the GIANT store for $10 and walked ten blocks to The Met. It was raining when we arrived at the theater. We had to stand outside the theater in the rain to have our tickets scanned. Once inside the lobby after the inconvenient security check, we had to have our umbrellas checked ($5.00 charge) before we could go to our seats. We enjoyed the performance of Twas the Night Before Christmas by Cirque du Soleil; it was very well done. Leaving the theater was slow because we had to retrieve our checked umbrellas before we could walk to our car. There are no nice restaurants nearby the theater either.
We got tickets when they went on sale . Front row seats on the aisle M2 . Perfect for viewing the whole stage and aerial acts with no effort! Everything about this show was amazing and very satisfying. We love The Fox theatre and all it offers. Our best Christmas show and our friends loved it too!
Very nice show for the family. Kept my 8yrs old entertained the whole time. Love it
