This was an interesting exhibit - somewhat disappointing as it didn't contain all the gold and King Tut article items I have seen in articles and other exhibit pictures, plus there was a lot of stuff from other Egyptian Pharoahs that I didn't expect. Also, the picture on the face of the Tutanhamun tour is of a very small (12 - 15 inch tall) jar, NOT the actual life size coffin as shown in other pictures I have seen and that I expected to see based on this picture. Despite this, It took us 2½ hours to view all the items, they were fascinating! the level of detail on even the smallest items is amazing. I would strongly recommend getting the audio tour, it gave a lot more information on each item than the descriptions on the items did, as well as other tidbits of information on the Egyptian lifestyle and such. The movie, while interesting, was sort of disjointed. Not a necessary addition to the tour, but worth the $5. I took my 13 year old grandson who studied the Egyptian pharoahs last year. He found it very interesting as well. BIG NOTE that was not anywhere on this description or on the Denver Museum website - NO PICTURES ALLOWED. Not a problem, although I would not have hauled the camera and bag throughout had I known this before we got in the door.
