this was a very evenly matched game and went to overtime. it was won on the only shot the one team took in the overtime. the next night, the same two teams played overtime again and the winning goal was at the same 8 minute mark
Small arena. Row 6 seats would have been great IF the "glass" around the hockey rink didn't distort 1/4 of the ice. Will go back next year.
Hockey is awesome. Nuff said. My only beef was with the old battle-axe sitting next to me who thought she owned both arm rests and impolitely demanded that I not lean on "her seat."
The game Saturday between the Americans and the Chiefs was great. Lots of good hard Hockey with a minimal amount of fisticuffs. Both teams played well and the excitement went from the first puck to the last buzzer. It was a great family outing.
I loved being so close to the ice. It has a greater impact on your game viewing. It makes you get more into it.
It was a great game through out. Very intense at the end. Be assure I will be back as many times as I can. GO AMS.
Nice arena, and great crowd. I was a fan of the away team, and the crowd was playful and courteous, the whole time.
Live Hockey is the best and while the play is at the minor league level, it is still very exciting and enjoyable. Fans are very nice, the venue is sized perfectly for the event and the overall experience is excellent. Easy access to the arena, seats, concessions, restrooms; all bonuses to making the experience worthwhile.
First hockey game ever and was more fun than expected. People I was sitting by made me feel part of Tricities. They helped explain penalties and such great atmosphere at the Toyota Center. Also, have to say I had a 22 inch hotdog there and ate the whole thing. To bad they lost. I will definitely attend another game. The seating was great center ice.
Awesome!! Who wouldn't want to watch the Americans versus Chiefs? Action, action, and more action!
Every seat was good and it be a great family event. Easy access andjust an overall great experience
When the team plays the Canadians you can bet your bottom there will be fighting, blood flying and just a real active exciting tight playing game! Love it!! Can't wait for the next time they come to town! :) When #5 Giant and #19 American battled on the ice! Raw smackdown. They both smiled at each other in the penalty box so you know it was mostly for show and I love that! :) Hated that the seats were too skinny and tight on the sides and in the front. No room to cheer. Had to apologize all evening long. :( Please get bigger seats. Thank you.
The seat I was in, Section M, Row 18, Seat 10. You could only see half the rink because the other half was blocked completely. Even leaning into the person in front of me I could not see the one side of the rink. There was no mention that this was a restricted view seat when I purchased the tickets. Other than that, the actual hockey game and the arena itself were great!
The Americans game was great. My only complaint is that I took the time to order the ticket ahead of time and have them ready at will call. When we got to will call the tickets weren't there and I of course DID NOT have my confirmation number. Even though it was not the attendants fault she/they weren't very helpful. After missing part of the game they finally gave us tickets that were not in the same area. I should have had the confirmation number but I also think they should have their stuff together too especially when I order seven tickets..
Americans worked really hard getting their points. They made 2 goals in one period. Wow!

This event was very sweet! We had a great time watching the AMS beat the Silvertips in overtime. The overall experience, with the teddybear toss and buck for a puck toss was great. Our kids had a wonderful time.

Great game, with the home team coming through for the second straight night. It was somewhat anti-climactic at times however, because the grossly one-sided officiating did all it could to keep Vancouver in the game. How we managed to hang on to the victory still baffles me, as our boys were playing short-handed in almost all of the 2nd & 3rd periods, with a man in the box constantly from ticky-tack, seemingly blind penalties. Hated the officiating, but loved the game and the outcome!
