Trey Songz Concert Schedule

Singer and actor Trey Songz picked up the R&B lothario mantle from Usher in the mid-00s with a seductive and suggestive sound that spawned multiple chart-toppers, gold-selling albums and Grammy nominations. The double threat has further cemented his loverman reputation on the stage with headline tours, such as 2017's Tremaine, 2015's Bittersweet and 2012's Gotta Make It, as well as joint treks with Ne-Yo and Chris Brown. Beefing up his catalogue of US Hot 100 hits with a full live band, the Trey Songz live experience provides plenty of passion, raunch and opportunities to bump and grind.

Trey Songz Background

Born Tremaine Aldon Neverson in Petersburg, Virginia, in 1984, Songz first began performing at various talent shows in his mid-teens. After graduating high school, he moved to New Jersey, where he landed a deal with Atlantic Records in 2003. After dropping various mixtapes under the guise of The Prince of Virginia, Trey Songz released his debut album, I Gotta Make It, in 2005 under his more familiar moniker. Home to his first solo US Top 20 single, "Can't Help But Wait," 2007 sophomore effort Trey Day was followed two years later by Ready, a Grammy-nominated affair that featured hit collaborations with Drake, Gucci Mane and Fabolous, and helped him pick up Best Male R&B Artist at the 2010 BET Awards. An MTV Unplugged show, support slot on Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3 tour and behind-the-scenes documentary series, My Moment, kept him in the spotlight before 2010's Passion, Pain and Pleasure spawned his biggest hit, "Bottoms Up," featuring Nicki Minaj. Songz's winning streak continued with 2012's Chapter V, which peaked at No.1 on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of over 130,000, 2014's chart-topping follow-up, Trigga, and a Soul Train Music Award for Best R&B/Soul Artist Male, not to mention acting performances in Texas Chainsaw 3D and Baggage Claim. After several stopgap releases, Songz returned in 2017 with a seventh studio effort, the largely guest-free Tremaine the Album. By this point he'd amassed over 8.7 million followers on Instagram and 13 million on Twitter.

    Great Show...SONGZ!!!

    by Reen09 on 8/25/09Regal Theater - Chicago

I liked the fact that the event basically started on time and that the opening acts weren't too bad. But the best part was Trey Songz, he did an excellent job performing and I wouldn't mind seeing him again. I can't wait until he goes on a major headlining tour and have longer shows. Overall, you get your money’s worth (in which was only $22) and after seeing his performance I love him even more now! I highly recommend that all Trey Songz fans go out and support him. :)

    All performances were really good!

by dcherry11786 on 8/20/09Twin River Event Center - Lincoln

Performances were great! The only downfall was that people in the crowd were standing on their chairs, which made it difficult to see at times.

Not A Trey Songz Fan Anymore

by Cindy23 on 8/19/09Twin River Event Center - Lincoln

I had the worst experience of my life at the Trey Songz concert at Twin River Casino in Rhode Island. I hope know one has to go through what I went through. Trey Songz has been a very inspirational figure in my life. However, after the concert I will not see him the same. I paid $125 dollar for a meet and greet with him after a concert performance with him on August 15, 2009. Everyone, including myself with meet and greet passes lined up after the show to take pictures with him. HE LEFT, PEACE OUT. He left right after the show and all his people could tell us was that they were sorry. NO PICTURE, NO REFUND. The show itself was not managed well by the staff at Twin River Casino and people that paid for crappy seating were stealing the seats of front row concert goers. The Casino staff did nothing. I paid $70 for a good view and instead had to stand on my chair to see. I have been looking forward to this opportunity to meet him for over four years now. I AM A HUGE FAN, anyone that knows me would tell you how much I loved this music artist. I know the words to every song he has every sung. I wasted my time on an artist that only cares about money. You could also blame his record label that would allow his fans to get cheated like this.

    Trey Songz!!!!!! YUUUUUUP!

by LATTEWIFEY on 8/17/09Twin River Event Center - Lincoln

The concert was off the hook!!! I personally am not into Trey Songz but took my girl to see him because she is obsessed with him. Even tho im not really into him by the end of the concert it may have seemed as if i was. He performed songs off his upcoming album as well as his mixtape as well as some old songs....He gave a great show to all his fans and really made them feel loved. J holiday also had a good performance and the comedian was real funny.. CONS: Venue was kinda of bootleg and ghetto with folding chairs and people sitting in other people seats.....venue could have been alot better because when trey came on everyone just bumrushed to the stage. So people paid 100 and some paid 20 but when he came out it didnt matter cuz it was all mixed in so some people like me paid a lot for no reason.

I thought Trey Songz was the best performer. It could have been in a better areana. Hard to see with people standing on chairs.

The concert was very good. I took my bestfriends to se trey songz and it was and amazing concert. the only problem was that there wasn't enough room in the main floor and i was a little closterfobic. Other than that the concert was and amazing exerience.

    Trey Songz is HOT!!!

by okmo05 on 7/20/09House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

This was the best vconcert i have ever been to. Not only Is Trey Songz fine, so fine, he is a very talented singer. He is not one of those artists who only sounds good on but he sounds just as good in person. I can't wait until he comes back to Chicago. Laura Izibor was good as well, she just sang too many songs.

    Trey Songz - YUUUP!

by Symboliccj on 7/16/09House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

I being an avid Trey songz fan - was excited to see him perform. But first I will review the opening act - Laura Isabour (spelling?) Her performance was great she reminds me quite a bit of Alicia Keys in appearance and vocally. The only time I felt embarrassed was when someone in the audience tried to compliment her by calling her a derogatory remark - welcome to America Laura.... Next, was Trey who as always sang beautifully, my only complaint was the lack of songs from his albums. I enjoy the mixtapes, but would have preferred that he sang more of his original songs. Lastly, the house of blues was a little rude closing the curtain on Trey, but understandably if it was curtain time (and Trey did try to stay on stage longer) then it was curtain time. I enjoyed the show, but wished it was 21 and up. There were too many "little kids" there and things got out of hand especially outside and waiting for valet. Would not go back unless it was an older crowd - even though I love Trey!
