I went to see Trevor Hall all because I saw him open for Matisyahu at the HOB in November. I just have to say that back then he grabbed my attention and I fell in love with him (as a musician). He is so talented, so pure, so sweet and his stage presence totally draws you into him and the music. I would also like to say that Schubas is a great, intimate venue. I also want to say that Trevor's opening act Tomorrows Bad Seeds were a very good band as well. The night was a success. My boyfriend even said that he enjoyed it (which is rare because he doesn't have the same taste in music as me!) Thanks guys!! <3 ya!!
He has such great energy at his shows, and makes it a happy, peaceful place, with subdued thoughtful lyrics to slow it down, and bouncy, reggae style, danceable jams as well. Definitely see him if you get the chance!
Trevor, Mario & Chris always put on a spiritual show that never ceases to amaze me. However, this show wasn't as good as their last Minnesota show which was at the Fine Line. Maybe the guys are worn out from so much touring lately - but the energy of the show just wasn't what I was expecting. Nevertheless, going to a Trevor Hall show is never a disappointment or a waste of money. As an added bonus Tomorrow's Bad Seeds was an amazing opening band. Chatted with the main singer towards the end of Trevor's encore and he was so nice and kind. They gave a great opening show.
I love Trevor Hall. I love his soulful tunes. I love that he's not mainstream. I love that he stands for making the world a better place.
The show took place at a smaller venue, really allowing the people present to get an amazingly unique expirience. The sound and clarity was perfect, and Trevor Hall was naturally amazing with vocals. Also, Tomorrows Bad Seeds were incredibly and that was my first time seeing them. The energy was there throughout the whole show, which really added to my second of many Trevor shows to come.
The Venue was perfect as I got to shake Trevor's hand as he walked in the front door to start his set. All the band members were very accessible. The opening band was "Tomorrows Bad Seeds". They were the perfect complement to Trevor Hall, I could see them and Trevor Hall's band combining like Calexico does with Mariachi Luz de Luna, for a few songs together. When Trevor hit the stage the place lit up and was jumping through till the end song "Sing The Song" which was pure energy. Loved it Loved it Loved It
AAAAAAAAMAZING! the way he sings makes your troubles go away. loved it and am always going back. Big love Trevor
Trevor Hall is obviously an amazing artist, but proof of that is how phenomenal he is live. the show was unforgetable. It was so peaceful and relaxing, the atmosphere was awesome. I totally recommend seeing him live, i'm seeing him again the next time he comes to CO. Plus the drummer had incredible facial expressions, extremely passionate about what he does!
FANTASTIC SHOW... TREVOR AND THE GUYS ALWAYS IMPRESS ME.
An amazing concert, can't even explain the atmosphere and vibe that I felt.
I would take anyone to a Trevor Hall concert. People should know going that there are quite a few high school couples, but if that doesn't bother you than go! Trevor Hall is an amazing artist that has put so much emotion behind their songs, they believe every word that comes out of their mouth and play on stage like a family that's supposed to be together. I've been to three of their concerts now and over the years they continue to be five star quality, a band that I hope will sky rocket in the industry if they choose to let it happen. These small venues bring the audience closer to the band, and who can't give them deep respect for coming out to meet their fans after every show? Once again, an amazing concert, expect nothing less from an amazing band.
Last night, Trevor Hall put on an unforgettable show! The set list was great, his and his band's onstage presence was unmatched, and the venue was full of the happiest vibes I've ever witnessed at a concert. A perfect showcase of talent, and love for what they do! I would DEFINITELY see Trevor Hall a million times more!
My first show - exactly what I expected.. such a good person - kept the energy high - even trusted the crowd to pass around his video camera. Great great show, would definitely recommend even if you don't know any of his songs! :)
What an amazing show!!! Trevor is so good and his music is so inspiring. I just cant believe with some of the crap music on the radio these days that Trevor is not headlining stadiums. If you have not heard him or see him you should.....fantastic!!
Trevor is by far the most talented artist I have ever seen in concert. He uplifted the whole audience as everyone sang together and let go of all their fears and frustrations.
I love Trevor Hall's music. Only started listening about a month ago, but quickly started to listen all the time. My roommate and I sing lime tree really loud when we're going to bed sometimes. Crazy good. Seeing him live was amazing. His voice is so unique and he put on a very fun show. Completely informal in a really good way. At the opening of one of his songs early in the night he started on the wrong chord and just said "Hey hey woah, we've gotta restart that song, I played the wrong chord". He introduced his bass player ("This is my friend Super Mario from Sicily, Italy!") about five times throughout the show. Hahah, it was great. Wonderful drum solo bit by Chris the drummer.
I first discovered Trevor hall when he opened for carbon leaf at the showbox last year. I love his music and I was so excited that he came back to Seattle. It was an amazing concert! Everyone had so much fun and there was a great amount of positive energy. I hope Trevor hall comes back to Seattle sometime soon!!!
For me Trevor Hall was a very forgettable set. However the opening band, Tomorrow's Bad Seeds, was amazing!! A diverse & very musically talented five piece group! 5 Stars for these guys!!
If you havent heard the lyrics or felt the fibe of Trevor's music your missing out. He touches the heart of things in a spirtual sence with songs that create "Unity" and encourage "Internal Heaghts. Far better then any church service, the connection shared touches that chord within that searches for love, peace, simplicity, and understnding.
