About

TOVE LO IN CONCERT:

Swedish pop ingenue Tove Lo has been a creative force in her native country for several years, but with the 2014 release of her debut EP Truth Serum she made considerable waves overseas as well. Catchy single "Stay High" peaked at No. 6 on the UK Singles Chart, and Lo nails the song every time at her electric live shows, capturing the relaxed beauty of the recording with her languid vocals and magnetic stage presence. On her latest tour, Tove Lo will treat fans to her original material along with renditions of hits she's penned for artists like Lea Michele and Cher Lloyd, making for a truly eclectic night of pop magic.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Born in Stockholm, Tove Lo attended a music high school and cut her teeth playing in the band Tremblebee before deciding to pursue her solo career. In 2011 she joined famed producer Max Martin's songwriting team, going on to pen songs for bands like Girls Aloud and Icona Pop. Her work writing for other artists helped pave the way for her debut as a solo artist in 2012 with the single "Love Ballad". With the release of the single "Habits" in 2013 she made her first appearance on the Danish charts, and in 2014 her debut EP Truth Serum landed at No. 13 in her native Sweden. A young artist with plenty of big things on the horizon, Tove Lo will give ticket buyers a glimpse into the future of pop on her upcoming tour dates.

    Venue seemed overly crowded

by Brandon on 3/5/23The Wiltern - Los Angeles

The show was good, but the crowds at The Wiltern show seemed to be overloaded for what the venue could safely hold. I was on the floor in GA and it was hard to find anything spots to watch the show. They weren't checking tickets to get to the GA section, so I thought maybe it was full of balcony ticket holders down there. I went up during the middle of Tove Lo's performance to see if there was any opening and it was packed up there as well. I know it was a sold out show, but it honestly seemed a little unsafe for how crowded it was, especially given the sad events that have happened at other venues that are packed when there is an emergency.

Talented, Brilliant, amazing, show stopping, spectacular…

by Izzyg on 3/5/23The Wiltern - Los Angeles

This was my first time going to a Tove lo concert and I’m so glad I did. She was super energetic, her songs are obviously great and her voice is even more beautiful irl. I had a lot of fun and I also really liked the venue it’s such an iconic building both in the interior and exterior. 10/10

    Best Performance

by Riskylina_rose on 3/5/23The Wiltern - Los Angeles

Tovelo was absolutely amazing! It was utterly the best performance I have been too. The venue was beautiful but the staff made it hard to enjoy it at some points. I understand why they did what they did, it was to ensure everyone’s safety. We waited for hours to get a good GA standing spot. When it came time to use the restroom during the concert they wouldn’t let myself or my partner back to our spot. We had to explain that our partners were holding our spot and at one point of the staff members began arguing with us saying “no one is getting beyond this point without a wristband” when there was GA standing room (where I was) beyond his point. There was one point the staff told us “if you leave I am not letting you back” so we decided not to pee. I’ve never had that experience at a concert before. Other than that the concert was amazing.

Great Show - venue not so much

    by B. L. on 3/5/23The Wiltern - Los Angeles

Tove Lo is great and gives a great show. The venue is lacking and while the sound is ok you really can't see the stage very well and I'm tall and 6'4. Since they took out the seats it's very hard to see the stage without the view being obstructed by other fans. Maybe the stage can somehow be elevated more...

Tove Lo was amazing as always. Great vocals and visuals and super high energy. The event staff were awesome and the meet and greet went off without a hitch and she was so sweet. I’ll see Tove Lo every time she comes to town.

    Too much smoke and mirrors

by Mack on 2/28/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

What was sonically a great show - and the sound was fabulous - was diminished by Tove's band being obscured by smoke and LEDs making it impossible to watch the show.

    Mostly fantastic, except for fans

by Mm on 2/26/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Tove was amazing. Fans however, blocking my view the entire show was annoying. I get wanting to take a pic or video but not the ENTIRE show.

    Simply Amazing!

by Brian W on 2/25/23The Union - Salt Lake City

Going into this show, I wasn't sure what to expect since I typically attend rock and metal shows. I was relieved and pleasantly surprised to see/hear that Tove Lo was actually singing and had a backing band as well! She really delivered after a recent bout with the flu and her band played perfectly. I could tell there were some backing track elements on parts that required it where there were choruses with overlapping vocals, but that was to be expected. The slight nuances in the sound of the band vs the studio recordings made it obvious that it was truly a live experience. Tove engaged the crowd well and the adoration was very apparent in the room that night! She is a great performer and a stellar singer/songwriter, and I would hands down catch her again in the future!

Tove rocked but not the venue

by Smurf88 on 2/24/23The Union - Salt Lake City

Tove was amazing and personable. It was so cool to see her in person. Unfortunately, they changed venues last minute to "The Union" and that place sucks getting in and out of. Plus, the show got moved an hour later and that made it even more difficult to manage public transportation. Please provide an easy route from Trax!!!

Tove Lo always pours her heart out on stage and this night was no exception! She made it to slc during our worst snowstorm of the season and had us dancing our ASSES off ❤️
