Toronto Raptors History
The Toronto Raptors were founded in 1995 as part of the NBA's expansion into Canada. The Raptors have been the only NBA team based in Canada since the 2001–02 season. After acquiring eight-time All-Star Vince Carter in 1998, the Raptors set league-wide attendance records and made the playoffs from 2000 to 2002. Led by Carter, the Raptors earned their first playoff series win in 2001 and advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals.
The Raptors didn't return to the playoffs until the 2006–07 season, when they won the Atlantic Division title. After Masai Ujiri joined as the team's General Manager in 2013, the Raptors became a consistent playoff team, winning five division titles and having their most successful season in 2018. The following year, during the 2019 playoffs, the Raptors earned their first Eastern Conference title and went on to win their first NBA championship, defeating the Warriors in 6 games.

The Basketball-Play Toronto Raptors v NewJersey was unforgettable for my friend and me.
Overall the game was awesome. I felt that the bathrooms were clean, the concessions staff at the sub shop closes to gate 17 were very nice, and quick. My seats, section 17, row 21, or so, had a nice view EXCEPT there were arena staff constantly blocking my view. Almost everytime I tried to take a photographs there was an employee in my shot. Staff members constantly walk by, stand in front of the seat(aisle seat), and block your view. They are loud trying to take orders, and sell concessions, and just generallly annoying. I would not sit here again, because of this issue. Otherwise the game was enjoyed!
Dirk shot 31 points... any more questions? Dirk forever!!!
My first trip to toronto, My girlfriend is a big basketball fan and Steve Nash fan, so when he was there we both made it to our first nba game and were very happy with the event!
Obviously, a game is a game is a game... you watch the better teams, you're going to get a better show almost always the game was somewhat entertaining...we were there just as much to watch Nash as the Raps the Raps were predictably dismal, the Suns were their usual selves my problem was not with the game or the performances of the players, or anything like that... my issue was with the booking... i simply found that the "seat's view" as shown to me on the website was better than the one from my actual seat... not a huge difference, but when you're paying 173 bucks a ticket, you want what you paid for further, the seating plan that can be accessed from the internet, should indicate exactly where you are...i sat in row 2...it said nothing about there being rows A-H ahead of me...i was under the impression that i was the second row back... perhaps this is my fault, or perhaps it just isn't quite clear enough on the site i would recommend the seats, but the buyer should be more aware of what they are getting...that is...seats that are close, but with the basket more in the way than is shown on the net, and not quite as close as one is led to believe either that is all!
Awesome game!! 2 great teams and a finish very amazing!!
Submitted using the Ticketmaster for BlackBerry application. good seats, great game, will definitely be going to another one
The raptors really played a great game that day. Go Raptors Go!
It was the best show that I 've ever seen. If you have the opportunity to see it, don't miss the change.
MY DAUGHTER AND I ARE BOSTON CELTICS FANS AND THEY WON THE GAME SO WE WERE HAPPY ABOUT THAT. THE RAPTORS ARE OUR SECOND FAVORITE TEAM AS I USED TO HAVE SEASON TICKETS DURING THE FIRST FEW YEARS OF THE FRANCHISE WHEN THEY WERE AT THE SKYDOME. THEY SEEM TO HAVE GOTTEN MORE INTERESTED IN THE BUSINESS SIDE OF THINGS AND LESS FOR THE FANS OVER THE YEARS.
It was a fun game to go to... Friday nights are usually great and this was no exception...my seat was techically in the row where the visiting hockey team would be sitting, which would be great to watch hockey but for basketball i felt my view was obstruced by the press rows in front of me.....also, the seats are not easy to get to from the main concourse, i would suggest entering through gate 2 and going to the platinum access, but even then its not easy to find your seat
Exciting game, the seats were great!! I had a good time overall and Toronto won!
I'm glad I went to the game. Of course, I wish they'd won, but that can't happen every game. It was a pretty close game most of the time. The big drawback was the distance of our seats from the court. Sometimes it was hard to focus on the game because of that and at times it was difficult to see if the ball had gone into the basket at the end of the court we were seated at because of the distance and the angle. Next time I would buy better seats.
They came, they saw, they conquered. Go Raptors, go!
An entertaining afternoon except for the play of the Home Team!.....I realize they are young men, but must have been schooled in " professionalism", particularly in light of the $'s they earn, but it was not evident at this game. A consistant effort is all we ask! I always enjoy the ACC experience, especially a Raptor Game....the music, activities, mascot(s) and dancers etc. A neat place to watch a game, even more so when the team performs so that the crowd gets rocking. I'd recommend a visit to a Raptor Game ! The ACC staff usually respond positively when approached with a smile and in a friendly manner. Their response often depends upon us and our attitude. We brought four young oriental students to their first NBA game. They had a great time and want to return soon.
First time in the Air Canada Centre and it was awesome... Great facilities, will come back again soon.
It was very nice, fun, and cheap. I enjoyed the game.
Even though the Raptors lost the game, it was really fun to watch it.
I liked being able to see the players in work mode before the season. Great to have an early look at the team. Nice amount of fan interaction . Having scoreboard and announcer added to it. Looking forward to game Wednesday.
