Toronto FC History
Toronto FC played their first season in 2007 and became a perennial MLS Cup playoff contender after adding Italian soccer star Sebastian Giovinco in 2015. In his first year with the team, Giovinco became the first Toronto FC player to win MLS' Golden Boot, MVP and Newcomer of the Year awards, en route to the team's first-ever playoff berth. The team reached further success the following year by reaching the MLS Cup Final, then won the championship in 2017. That victory, coupled with their winning of the Canadian Championship and Supporters' Shield matches earlier in the year, made Toronto FC the first team in Major League Soccer history to complete the rare feat known as the domestic treble.
Toronto FC have been most dominant in the annual Canadian Championship, in which the club has taken home the Voyageurs Cup eight times, including in 2020. Individual player accolades include Rookie of the Year for midfielder Maurice Edu in 2007 and Most Valuable Player for attacking midfielder Alejandro Pozuelo in 2020.

Toronto FC at BMO Field
Toronto FC is the city's first Major League Soccer team and the first Canadian team in the league. When BMO Field, the team's home stadium, opened in 2007, it was already the largest soccer-specific stadium in Canada. The venue has since expanded to accommodate over 30,000 fans. The Eastern Conference team's most vocal and visible supporters club, the Red Patch Boys, started rallying online back in 2006 before the team had even played its first match.

Rating: 3 out of 5 Beautiful Stadium (people need to sit down though)
by Sparta1 on 8/15/17BMO Field - TorontoMy 9 yr old and I went to our first TFC game in Toronto. The stadium is beautiful and was easy to get to. Our seats were great too. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. What we did not like was that people were constantly getting up to go get food. Holy cow, did you come to watch the game or eat. This is why we prefer to watch on TV. A lot of action was missed because people couldn't stay in there seats. Also, at half time we went to get a treat but found out that BMO Field has a VERY poor selection of snacks. No fried dough, no waffles, no dip & dots. My son was very disappointed in the selection. We want to go back but aren't sure we will because of the lack of respect of those that can't sit down and let everyone else enjoy the game.
Rating: 5 out of 5 An amazing experience
by predsboy18 on 8/15/17BMO Field - TorontoI attended the match against Portland, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The fans were into it all night, and made the experience unforgettable!
Rating: 5 out of 5 That Night in Toronto
by Paddy121255 on 6/26/17BMO Field - TorontoCan't go wrong with a TFC match. Every seat is a good seat, the team is playing lights out, the stadium is downtown, and by the lake. The price of the tickets is fair, considering the quality of the entertainment. The beer is over-priced, but the beer is over-priced everywhere, so it is what it is. This is the year TFC win it all, so go to a game this year if you can.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Electric atmosphere

Rating: 4 out of 5 First class stadium
by Roly61 on 8/30/16BMO Field - TorontoIt was awesome, the team even thought they lost play very well, the stadium is wonderful and the fans great!
Rating: 2 out of 5by Anonymous on 8/11/16BMO Field - Toronto Toronto FC is like watching school yard football. It's slow and sloppy and it's no wonder the MLS isn't aa popular as football in the rest of the world. Couple that with sky high drinks prices, (even water is nearly $5) and overpriced tickets and it's easy to see why I recommend you avoid this entertainment.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Awesome Venue
by nikolaiak2007 on 7/6/16BMO Field - TorontoFirst time at BMO Field and my first MLS match, and I wasn't disappointed! TFC puts on a great game and the stadium is incredible. Very very impressed with the presentation and the facilities.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Great game between Toronto and Seattle

Rating: 3 out of 5 Toronto v LA Galaxy at BMO Field
by Anonymous on 7/2/16BMO Field - TorontoA mixed day although I enjoyed the experience overall. I liked the stadium, the pitch (which I believe has been criticised) played well and people -officials and fellow spectators were friendly. The game was mediocre although there were some individual skills; maybe I expected too much as I watch UK Premiership and Championship football (60 games in 2015-6). One criticism; The gates were opened far too late so there were too many spectators milling about outside only an hour before the start; that is not good enough. Baseball does better. Two disappointments. My favourite Liverpool, player, Steven Gerrard was not paying for LA Galaxy - nobody's fault as he was reportedly injured No match day programme. and I would have liked one.Toronto FC used to have them. I have one from 2014 for example

Rating: 3 out of 5 BORRRRING
by sfbruner on 6/23/15BMO Field - TorontoI love watching TFC play at BMO but that was by far the most boring game I have ever been to.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Awesome seat and perfect scenario
by Nathy3 on 10/12/14BMO Field - TorontoKnowing Toronto a bit, I wanted a seat on a specific side of the field so that I could have the view on Toronto skyline. Bought it and I wasn't disappointed once at the stadium, the view is priceless! As for the game, what can I say? Toronto was down 0-2 at half-time but came back to win it 3-2 with the winning free-kick by Bradley at the 89th minute! Let's go Reds!
