  • A truly magical evening

    by R2 on 4/30/22Majestic Theatre Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

The most generously engaged, engaging live performer ever; Tori always managed to elevate her already impeccable studio output on the stage. Such terrific display of real musicianship, in a class/league of her own. The boys in the band (Jon, Ash, & previously Matt) were also truly unique & spectacular musicians.

  • Amazing Tori!

by Evermay on 4/30/22Majestic Theatre Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Tori is a goddess! Such an amazing show! I wish the sound was better. Small theater show sounded like a stadium concert where you can’t recognize the words and all you can hear is bass.

  • Mixed

by Val on 4/30/22Majestic Theatre Dallas - DallasRating: 2 out of 5

I don’t think enough time was spent getting the sound balanced. The band in back was way too loud for Tori’s piano playing and voice. The music often overwhelmed her voice. Additionally, there were so many added effects that the words seemed muffled most of the time. My favorite song was when she played and sang, one song, with it the band. Wished there was more of that. Spent a day processing through the event and my feeling about it. I think I tried to hard to make myself like it, when for me, it was just “ok.” Don’t mind going to an “ok” performance and driving from Oklahoma for a free concert. This one left me with regret.

  • Consistently Fantastic!

by Lee on 4/30/22Majestic Theatre Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

This show was amazing! Tori is still so wonderful to see live and this venue always feels so private and personal. Honestly, I felt like this was one of her best shows..Long Live Tori Amos!

  • Stunning perfection.

by Chad on 4/30/22Majestic Theatre Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Tori finds new ways to present her expansive catalogue beautifully. I can’t wait to see her again.

  • Tori does it again!

by DJ on 4/30/22Majestic Theatre Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve never had a bad experience with a Tori Amos show. Full disclosure shes my favorite artist. Even our favorites can have a bad night but Tori was in rare form. There wasn’t a bum note to be found. The band was A+. It was here first “band” show in over a decade and it was very worth the wait. The choice of venue could not have been better. I didn’t want the night to end. Welcome back T. We missed you.

  • Best Performer Alive

    by E. S. on 2/1/22Rating: 5 out of 5

The Greatest of all time. Every show different, virtuoso on all levels.

  • Tori in my heart

by Ang Fin on 10/29/21Rating: 5 out of 5

I have loved Tori since the age of 14 and I'm 41 now. Shecan really put on an amazing show. The last time I saw her was in Oakland California and she seemed to hustle through the show. I yenly waited out near the side of the building hoping for an autograph in the torrent weather, but she never came. I found out she was not feeling well, so of course that made sense because she normally is more engaging with the fans. Still love her and hope comfort easily came to her that night. Love ya mama Tori and know you got me through a contemptible ex abuser and young motherhood journeys like you never could understand.

  • First Tori Amos show!!!

by Deloacal on 1/1/18Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 4 out of 5

I had an amazing time, both my first time seeing Tori Amos as well as visiting the Balboa Theater. I would enjoy seeing others perform there in the future.

  • No what it used to be

    by Cohiba76 on 12/11/17Balboa Theater - San DiegoRating: 2 out of 5

San Diego show was a major disappointment. Possibly the last time I pay a high ticket price to see Tori, which is sad. Zero fan interaction or story telling. Too many fanatics screaming every time she looked up or switched positions, trying to convince themselves they were seeing a mid-90s quality show. Actually had to check my phone for the time at a few points. The voice was still there, but the effort and passion was not.

  • Worth seeing again and again!

    by Jep31 on 12/9/17Paramount Theatre-Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen Tori several times! If you’ve never seen her live you are missing out. She can command the room with only the piano and keyboards, in a way few full bands can. This woman lives and breathes her songs. Tori is a must see!!

  • Did not enjoy this at all

    by ML12345 on 12/1/17Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 1 out of 5

Beautiful venue, but did not enjoy the concert at all. HUGE Tori Amos fan, but was disappointed with her political songs. You go to a concert to escape, not hear about politics. I actually agreed with what she was saying, but just didn't want to hear it at a concert. No thanks. Maybe my fault because I'm more familiar with her old music vs. new, so maybe if I had listened to her new stuff I would have known that is what her music is like now and not gone to the concert.

  • Meeting Tori

    by Rhed74 on 12/1/17Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Concert was awesome, she played Fleetwood Mac’s Landslide, also some of my favorites ( Leather, Raspberry swirl, Winter) met Tori after show.

  • San Diego

by violetbunny on 12/1/17Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

I was surprised not here anything from "Native Invader" but she was certainly on here game the best "Landslide" I have heard her do and was the first time I heard her cover of "Songbird" she nailed it.

  • Tori Amos was incredible!

    by MysticPainter777 on 11/29/17Paramount Theatre-Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

Tori was absolutely amazing! As always, she was loyal to her devoted EWF and put on a politically charged show. It’s good to see a real musician still marching onward despite the difficult climate we find ourselves in today.

  • Still Amazing

    by NonVP on 11/29/17Paramount Theatre-Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

Beautiful concert, glad we got to see her in the last week of her tour.

  • Tori Amos at Oakland's Paramount Theatre 2017

    by cardslam on 11/29/17Paramount Theatre-Oakland - OaklandRating: 4 out of 5

Sell out crowd for a solo show. Just Tori and her two pianos. Set list was a bit eclectic but enjoyable. Stage lighting was awesome. Sound quality not quite as good as I remember for this site. Solid encore of 4 songs. Parking at the lot behind the theatre - hideous.

  • Tori was great, the lighting was painful

    by Anonymous on 11/29/17Paramount Theatre-Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

Tori Amos is always fantastic. She is a true force of nature with talent to burn. Her lighting designer needs to realize that LED lights are much brighter and focused than the older incandescent lights. Shining them into eyes of the audience, especially in smaller venues, is painful and migraine inducing. That sort of technique might me great for arena shows, where the audience is further away, but in a theater setting it's too much.

  • Tori is always amazing

    by Enm707 on 11/29/17Paramount Theatre-Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

Great show, gorgeous venue, I have seen Tori over twenty times and have never been disappointed. The only thing that would have made this show better was more material from the current album. But the performance was fantastic!!!

  • Love and love

    by Lunascotty on 11/29/17Paramount Theatre-Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

Well I love seeing Tori Amos. I have seen her at several different venues around the bay. It's always a great show. however, the Paramount Theater is my favorite place to see her. It's so beautiful. Beyond the beauty the sound there is fantastic. One can see her from any seat.
