Tori Amos is an excellent performer. While Chateau Ste. Michelle is a lovely site with good acoustics I was disappointed with the constant talking around me along with the milling around of so many people blocking a view of the stage. Unless you got there early, very little space was available and I got the feeling that they oversold tickets making it somewhat uncomfortable. Parking nearby was expensive at 20-30 dollars which I think is excessive. I would always jump at the chance to see Ms. Amos, but would think twice about visiting Ste. Michelle for a concert.
Tori still puts on a great show. It was delightful to hear some old classics as well as a few that she has rarely performed live! She also did a few Sinead O'Conner songs as tribute to the late singer. Love Tori's energy and her passion for matching the perfect lyrics to the awesome piano chords.
The sound was clear, the right volume and the venue was beautiful. Great direction from staff. Chateau does a great job at creating worthwhile experiences.
Tori Amos is ALWAYS exceeding my expectations! I’ve seen her probably 8 times and every show is absolutely amazing! Chateau St. Michelle winery is a fantastic venue for outdoor shows.
Tori is the best. Setlist is always great, never predictable something for everyone lots of deep cuts and some choice covers. Super talented unique music and voice. Superb, sublime, surreal
Tori is an amazing woman! The show was fantastic & her tribute to Sinead brought me to tears. There was so much love in the room!
This was my first Tori Amos show, and she did not disappoint. Many of her songs are even better live. The highlight is watching her play the piano and keyboard at the same time. It was hard to make out her words due to the reverb, other than that the sound quality was great. Not a bad seat in the house.
Tori was amazing here at the Masonic. So majical she always draws me in when she plays her piano and songs. I loved the performance such an amazing artist/vocalist/pianist such a talented soul I love me some Tori Amos 🫶🏽
The concert itself was a remarkable display of talent and a truly enjoyable performance. The venue? One of the best we have ever attended. No-cost parking and easy entry and exit, with friendly security people and food stalls that were never truly busy. The T-Shirt vending area was a bit problematic at points but we got what we needed just at the right time later in the performance before leaving. We look forward to our next show here!
Tori was as fabulous as she was in the 90s- beautiful performer and intriguing music as always. Venue was fantastic- such a lovely site with great amenities
Beautiful venue. Beautiful performance. Best night ever.
Tori is and always will be AMAZING. However, the seating at this venue is AWFUL. If you’re on Floor 2 and not at a bar seat, be prepared to see absolutely nothing but heads and bodies in front of you.
I think it must be difficult for an artist to keep excited about playing songs they wrote decades ago. I understand the desire to experiment with arrangements, change elements and strip down the music so it feels fresh to the artist. As a lifelong fan, I want to hear the songs as I discovered them and be able to celebrate them by singing along. Tori changed some of her songs so much that people became frustrated trying to sign along. She is wildly talented. I just didn't dig the changes to her songs. They're her songs but as a fan, I would probably only see her again if it was just her with her piano or I knew she was playing the songs as I knew them.
This was the second time I saw Tori Amos, both, gratefully at Red Rocks- it was a spiritual experience. My inner teenager was grateful for such an eloquent voice expressing my pre teen and teenage awkward years. Weeks later, I am listening to her albums, healing that inner child, able to see and honor the woman I am stepping into. Tori helped me feel seen all those years ago. The fact that it was her long time guitarist and a drummer alone with her speaks to the impressive musical magic she wields. She is an artist, able to tap into the heartbeat of generations and genuinely care and uplift through her poetry, you can feel that. Thank you, Tori Amos 💖🥹
Time and space stood still as Tori Amos in rare form was free to expression the pleasure power and pain. As though visited by an extradimensional force expressed in sound light and ambience. The colors were kalidoscopic. The sound was nuanced. My impressionable self was left with new hope for the futures of arts.
At the Masonic in San Francisco is iconic. That said, it is not really ADA accessible. Yes they have elevators, but there was a little info about how to go from the parking garage into the venue. The LiveNation staff were fantastic and very supportive. Just note that the venue itself upstairs has no railings so if you’re seated in row one the stairs have no handrails at all. Not sure who was responsible for the lighting effects set up, but the section we were sitting in of the balcony had one light,!that was behind the bassist, focused directly on our section for over a third of the concert, making it incredibly hard to enjoy as it was so distracting being blinded. So I loved seeing Tori again for the fourth time BUT the venue and the lighting made it really uncomfortable And then my husband and I have decided to never go to another concert at the Masonic in the future.
Tori was affected by the news of Sinead O'Connor's passing, and dedicated Crucify to her as well as performing two Sinead songs. Very emotional tribute and a great performance.
Amazing pianist, amazing talent, amazing show. Thank you!
I've seen Tori several times and always brilliant. Her piano playing was spectacular as usual but no idea if she was ill but she could not hit any of the high notes. Of course, when you're a fan and you see a vocalist/musician in concert, you want them to sound as good "live"as they do on their records. This was not the case here this time seeing her. Disappointing!
