This was just so much fun! The lead when he puts on the wig sounds just like Dustin Hoffman in the movie. They all play off each other so well with much laughter. Music & dancing terrific. Feel good show.
Tootsie is a wonderful take-off from the movie with its own twists and turns. The laughs are frequent and the music is great. Highly recommended for a fun time at the theatre.
Immersive story with plenty of comedic touches and great stage chemistry.
I absolutely loved Tootsie, as did my 2 theatre companions. We laughed from beginning to end. The acting , singing and dancing were excellent. While the plot remained fairly true to the original screenplay, the script has been updated to reflect current times. So many hysterical”one liners.” I highly recommend Tootsie. A great evening of entertainment.

This was one of the best experiences of pure Broadway theatre delight! We laughed until it hurt and marveled at the talented ensemble. The writing and music is superb with so many one liners that you want to go back again to hear it all over. Totally memorable “theatregasm”! Bravo!!
I was excited to see how they could make this iconic 80's movie into a Broadway show. It was uproariously funny. The supporting cast is superb. Music was great. Highly recommend!!
From the start untill the end the laughs kept coming.songs were very well done as was the music, even though musically there was no show stopper. With the world the way it is Tootsie is more than a welcome reprieve. Live a little and go see tootsie, you will be guaranteed to laugh or your money back!!!!
Never thought they could make the story original but they succeeded! Show made me smile from start to finish.
This is a new version of the movie - updated and quite fun - think one and all will enjoy but nit for kids
Tootsie is the funniest musical I Haverstick seen since Book of Mormon. Almost every line is a laugh out loud joke. There is not one weak cast member, they are all wonderful especially Sarah Stiles. Tootsie is a must see show. Go. Enjoy!

This play exceeded my expectations, for sure. I expected to be entertained but I didn't expect to laugh uproariously throughout this entire play. It was fun and funny; the actors' timing was spot-on; the lyrics were very clever; the choreography was great; the sets were amazing! Overall, I loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and entertaining time. This and one other musical currently Broadway are my recommendations to anyone visiting New York and wondering what play to see. This is it!
This is a phenomenal musical. Everything was so well calculated. The actors and ensembles were fabulous. I really didn’t want it to end.
This has to be one of the funniest shows I’ve seen. Wonderful songs and incredible cast! A super fun night at the theater. Go see it!
With flying sets, quick costume changes, and witty dialogue and songs, "Tootsie" felt like a return to the classic style of Broadway shows. They did a great job reviving the 1980s movie to make it so today's audiences could relate to the book. I spent the two and a half hours laughing and counting how quickly Michael could turn into Dorothy and back again. Thoroughly enjoyable.
We enjoyed that gamut of laughter from a snort laugh to full on cry laughing. I just wish they’d tied up the ending more powerfully by bringing back Tootsie’s song “I won’t let you down” again. It would have been perfect.
Absolutely loved this show!! Great music, great cast and hands down the funniest show I've seen in a long time.
