    Ehhh…

by Chong show on 3/30/23Edgewater E Center - Laughlin

It was ok. One hr and a half bit really worth what I paid. I wish it was more Chong and comedy, instead of interview style. People actually fell asleep in the audience and many left during.

    Cheech

by Smoking on 3/30/23Edgewater E Center - Laughlin

Seating was horrible not enough room. Very hard to get comfortable because of the room we had. We were like a sandwich very squished. Also paid a good price and not happy that it was a interview and not a stand up comedy.

    Tommy Chong

I like Tommy Chong. I found it quite boring. Not at all what I expected. Not sure what I expected.

    Not what we expected

by Freckles on 3/28/23Edgewater E Center - Laughlin

We thought it was to be a comedy act but instead got Chong talking to another man, like giving an interview. We learned more about Chong, but we’re disappointed. The seats were terrible, too small, and too tightly together. A couple came 30 minutes late and a heavy set man was sitting next to me taking two chairs. No room for the couple whom came late. Of course they were seated next to us. We WILL NOT GO AGAIN TO THAT TENT AT EDGEWATER WITH TERRIBLE CHAIRS.

It was truly a great experience

by Zach on 3/28/23Edgewater E Center - Laughlin

Well i thought it was going to be like a standup show but it was more like a live sit down interview style show. They showed chips from the movies and then Tommy would discuss it with the interviewer and tell some stories it's really nice experience would do it again

    Showtime killed Tommy Chong

by SaltKills on 8/31/11California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

The show was good. The people running it though, that's another story. Showtime was there and they were really bossy. Tommy got sick and only went on stage for about twenty minutes and so people were upset and started to leave, the showtime people were basically yelling and insulting people. The show started 45 minutes late and it got pretty late, so I can see why people might leave, especially when you expect to see Tommy Chong, not some random dude from showtime barking orders after every set. Now I know, no more taped showings, I'm not mad at Chong, that was something unavoidable, and all the comedians were really funny. If it was just a normal show without the cameras I think I would have enjoyed the show a lot more.

    Great Comedians

by Crazyness on 8/30/11California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

The venue was beautiful yet very warm. The comedians were FUNNY! The consistant waiting while seats were filled was crazy! If you got up to go the bathroom they filled your seat, lots of people left when Tommy got ill. I had a great time, even with these minor flaws. I would definatley go again but I would recommend an intermission so that people can handle their business and get refreshments without comming back to no seat. You Rock Tommy, I hope your feeling better real soon and thank you for a hilarious evening.

    The show had potential.

by JZiegler on 8/29/11California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

The doors opened 1hr late to find that most people left before it started. I paid $40 for each ticket to find that people who paid the lower price was moved up to fill seats. Cool, if everyone paid the same, not cool when most people can barely afford to go out. While waiting for the seats to fill everyone was dripping sweat due to the air condition being out. Tommy Chong finally came out only to cut his jokes short due to him having the flu. The breaks in between acts took too long and the crew didn't want anyone getting up to go to the bathroom or get a drink. It was too hot to stay we left after they took Tommy to the hospital. I wanted to ask for my money back, but was too hot to argue with anyone. I needed air and something to drink. I had hoped for a better night to celebrate my husbands birthday. Next time I will think twice before by tickets to a show that is being taped. The crew wax way too bossy and was nit apologetic to the guests sitting in a hot auditorium and being locked down from moving anywhere.
