ALthough Tom is the same age as my mom, his voice was crisp, clear, and sounded just the way it did when I was a kid. There were a variety of people there-all ages (yes, even younger than me) and ethnic groups. Several women next to me were swooning and yes, there were a few pair of panties and bras "floating" through the audience.
He was fantastic! His voice was clear and powerful, he and the band were very energetic, and Freedom Hill was a very nice place to see it all in! I wish it was a little louder so we could hear it better (we did have a drunk guy in front of us who wouldn't stop talking, so maybe that was the main issue), but the show was still fantastic.
As long time Jones fans, my wife and I see him whenever he is in the area and for those who have not taken in a concert, DO IT!! It is amazing at age 69 that Jones voice is strong and beautiful! He performed for about an hour and 45 minutes to a very supportive and appreciative crowd. He mixed tunes from his new album with the old hits and received many standing ovations! I especially enjoy his blues segments where that beautiful voice shines! This may have been the most enjoyable concert of his that we have attended!
For being 69 years old Tom still has an amazing voice. He put on a fantastic show. It was amazing to see the wide variety of people, young, old, women and men. I would definitely see him again and also recommend him to my friends. I enjoyed how he mixed it up with new and old songs.

Show started at a couple of minutes to 9 and lights were raised at 10:10. Rather short if you asked me. First half was mostly new material. It really wasn't until halfwy through that the show got rolling and then it seemed to end about 30 minutes later. The whole thing was a bit unsatisfying. The sound was also very bad, worst I have heard at a concert for a long time. Tom, if this is your best effort, maybe you should pack it in.
Tom is awesome. He always is. He has a great voice and he's very sexy. Love to watch him dance. We took a couple of first timers to see Tom and they loved him too. Always, ALWAYS go see Tom Jones. As for the band that came on before him The Killer Flamingos they were terrible. They totally didn't fit in well with Tom at all. His audience is older and they were playing 80's music with a heavy metal style. It stunk. I mean really did anyone even like 99 luft balloons in the 80's? Overall ALWAYS see Tom Jones and unless you like 80's music stay away from the Killer Flamingos.
It was an extremely entertaining evening. Tom Jones voice sounded great! He has charisma and a womderful stage presence. The band and back-up singer were awesome as well.
Tom was excellent to see. He played his new songs and of course all the 60's hits. He is in great shape at 60 something and knows how to please an audience. Freedom Hill is a great venue for summer shows! So glad I was able to go.
I've been to over 100 Tom Jones concerts so far in my life - from Michigan to the east coast to LasVegas, each one just keeps getting better and better. I love the silver hair - Makes him look sexier, if that is possible. His band esp Kenny Anderson and Frank Strauss have so-o-o much fun & of course Tony/back up singer has just the right blend with Tom to make us all go over the top. Thanks for bringing our favorite singer to Michigan once again and we hope to not have to travel all the way to Vegas to see him on a regular basis.
I have been seeing his shows since my first one at age 18. 35 years later, he is still sexy, in great voice and a real showman. So glad he doesn't have women come onstage -his band and back-ups are great, and he performs the entire time. A great performer!

I have seen Tom twice in recent years and am impressed with the energy and spirit he puts into the performance ! My husband went with me this year and was surprised to enjoy it so much. We particularly enjoy the classic favorites he is known for.
I would rate his show actually at 4-1/2 stars. His voice is fantastic ... enjoyed the old classics as well as ballards from his new cd. I'm definitely going to buy the new cd ... 24 Hours. A great evening enjoyed under a beautiful summer sky at Freedom Hill. Definitely bring him back!!!
I have been to Tom's concerts through the years since the beginning of his career. He never fails to deliver a top-notch night of entertainment. His concert on 7/12/09 at Freedom Hill in Michigan was NO exception. The man is amazing...he can move and dance..and still make the ladies go crazy. Apart from his sexiness...its all about talent..and this man oozes talent. His new CD has quite a few songs that he co-wrote and its incredible how beautiful some of the lyrics are. The power in his voice, the feeling, he puts into his songs...its just awesome. He connects with the audience and even the guys enjoying going to see him in concert. He is Most Definitely IN A CLASS OF HIS OWN. What an amazing talent!!!! Don't miss his show, if you get a chance to go.!!!
Tom Jones has still got it. Fantastic show except for the opening band.
I was so thrilled to be part of the wonderful concert that Tom Jones put on at Freedom Hill. The seats were great, Tom Jones can still sing as well as he did when I first saw him over 30 years ago. His opening band was terrific, they put on a wonderful beginning to a fantastic night. The weather was on our side too, beautiful evening, good food and a show that will leave a lot of people talking for a long time. My husband got so into the concert and when he heard about the upcoming Doo Woop Show, told me to get tickets for that as well (which I did today). Thank you Freedom Hill for an unforgettable evening!!!!
The weather was perfect but so was his voice. I was so impressed with his show! He sang some new songs as well as his standards which got the crowd moving. Loved that he was still his cheeky self too!
This was the third time I have seen Tom Jones. As usual I was so very happy I decided to go.... He is such a wonderful entertainer and his voice is unreal!!! I am only 37 and thouroughly enjoyed every time I have seen him..... AWESOME AWESOME SHOW!
