    by v. j. on 5/30/23

I saw Tom in Niagara Falls and he was fabulous as always! I have been following him for over 50 years, and he never ceases to amaze me! He was on stage for over an hour and a half, and gave us his all! I am already anxiously awaiting to go see him again! Love love that man!

    Tom Jones concert

by Sari on 5/30/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

All good. A great time. A good crowd. The seats are not as comfortable. Too close to the next person. The front leg space is limited.

    Tom Jones concert feedback

by Brenda M on 5/30/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

What a great experience. Sir Jones voice remains intact as is his showmanship. Price of ticket was very reasonable. I was privileged to see this universal treasure in concert. Long live Sir Tom Jones!

    CONCERT WAS NOT LONG ENOUGH

by Gio on 5/30/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

Pros: Loved seeing Tom Jones. At 82 still has his wonderful voice and showmanship. Stage presents along with the band and stage lights and set up was good! Cons: Seats were very uncomfortable, performance started 15 minutes late. Tom Jones only sang a few of his old songs, would have loved to hear more of his vintage music. On top of the performance starting late and the break lasting 7 minutes or so, the concert ended at 9:50 P.M. making a performance time of only 1 hour & 27 minutes. I have been to concerts lasting 2 -3 hours. I feel the audience was shorted.

    Great Concert, Great Voice!

by Mr Unusual on 5/30/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

As always, TJ brings it. Good mix of old and new stuff (glad we listened to new stuff before the show!) and it's much better in concert than on the album. Sad to see there was no horn section, but the accordion took its place rather well. Just bordered on "too loud" without ear plugs, but it seemed to get a little louder as the show went on, so maybe they were cranking up the volume every now and then. Sat on floor, right side, 10th row, inside aisle. Great seats. Tom stayed put and the camera stayed on him with a good backdrop that wasn't too distracting. Not a bad seat in the house, would have liked to have seen more actual footage on the big screen of some of the bandmates. Happy birthday one week from now, Tom! We'll see Tom until he dies or we do. Which, at this point, is likely to be us!

    Amazing

by Precious on 5/30/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

82 and still going strong. His voice is as phenomenal today as it was way back when. I have now seen him 8 times and the thrill is still there. May God bless him and watch over him as he continues to entertain so many more people.

    Surprised and inspired.

by Jim on 5/30/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

At 80+ years of age the voice and mind are coordinated and entertaining. My generation of Seniors are always enthusiastic in recapturing a piece of nostalgia. Evoking fond memories and provoking the reality of our mortality. An unexpected but now welcomed combination. His first selection was “I Am Growing Old”. Totally unexpected but beautiful because I too, into my 70’s am growing old in the manner and tone of the lyrics. Easily moving me to a tear of acknowledgement. His voice was superb and strong. The band was very good as well. One of my most enjoyable concerts of all time.

    Fantastic Experience

by Jude on 5/30/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

Recently attended the Tom Jones Concert at the Turning Stone Casino in New York State. As it was on a Friday night we made it a 2 day get away. The venue itself was massive. The casino was packed and restaurants busy. The concert hall was large (maybe 5,000) and lots of people to help you find your seating. Our seats were amazing and were very reasonably priced when bought. So now to the best part...Sir Tom Jones. He was absolutely stellar. It is insane that at 83 he can still belt out his music and it sound like the original. He covered his past music and his more recent songs as he is still recording. I was disappointed that he didn't do more of his past hits and perhaps spend less time covering others. in the end it didn't matter...he was amazing. The only slight downside to the night was the actual exit from the venue. It had limited exits so getting there as everyone was trying to leave proved somewhat frustrating. Other than that....highly recommend to see Tom Jones at any venue.

    Tom Jones Rocks

by BobK on 5/30/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

Great show by Tom Jones and his amazing band. Tom sounds better at 83 than most singers in their prime. If you've never seen Tom Jones, you should.

    The voice that never ages

by Sr. Morphine on 5/30/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

Tom Jones will be 83 June 7, 2023. That would be his physical self. His voice, however, has remained at about 30 years of age, powerful, soaring and a thing of beauty. His show was an excellent mixture of old songs ( “It’s Not Unusual,” “What’s New, Pussycat”, “Delilah” ) ; newer songs ( “I Won’t Crumble”, “I’m Growing Old”, “Talking Reality Television Blues” ) and some amazing covers ( “Kiss”, “Strange Things Happen Everyday”, “You Can Leave Your Hat On” ). His band is stellar. While Father Time has exacted his cost on Mr. Jones physical self to some degree, he still has magnificent stage presence, and that VOICE! Long live Tom Jones!

    Tom Jones Sings

by Ruta on 5/29/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

Well, the guy is 83 years old so don’t expect any swinging hips or anyone throwing panties at him. If you close your eyes during the concert, you can picture him as he used to be the voice is still there and the audience was still involved. A few of the songs he sang, were sort of morbid, but overall it was a good concert. The only problem that I saw was that Turningstone, the venue had their heads up their butts. Here they had people in walkers and in wheelchairs trying to get into the concert and they put them through the paces going round and round(looked like waiting in line in Disney) it was a safety hazard- never had this problem before at this venue.

First and foremost....love the Beacon....Secondly...always wanted to see Tom Jones....a huge check on my bucket list....Did not even knew he was at the Beacon until the day of the concert and found two orchestra seats at the last minute and off we went. What a show....that Golden Voice is still Golden....absolutely amazing....just cant believe he's 83. He is humorous....still can dance...the screen behind him was awesome and all I can say is WOW.....all his big hits plus some newer ones and each one was fabulous.

    Very Fun Event

by Chris P. on 5/29/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

Tom Joines did more than expected, including songs ranging from Cat Stevens, to Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson to Prince. Everyone in the audience truly had a great time especially when we all sang along to his classics. Great venue, no bad seats.

    Great performance

by Dave on 5/29/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

Amazing to see Tom Jones performing so well at 82 years young! I can only wish that I can have that energy at that age. The show was good. I didn't care for some of the video enhancements they were using to show Tom better. The venue seemed to not be prepared for a concert. Waiting in lines, lack of information as to where to be in line, no assistance to move people to other concession locations so that we wouldn't be backlogged. Ended up missing the first song that Tom performed. Otherwise a great time with my wife.
