by BILL on 5/18/24Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewoodfollowed CHAPINS since the 60 s. actually talked to HARRY , sitting behind me in the "cheap seats"at a very early BILLY JOEL concert in CONNETICUT. this BERGEN PAC event was akin to actually being with the CHAPIN family , enjoying their company, and their music, at their residence. a homey, family experience, never to forget.

Although the whole family is talented, I could have done with less original songs and more of Harry's. When they played his songs it was great. They announced in the beginning that they were not going to Play Harry's greatest hits but they missed a lot of great songs especially "Flowers Are Red"

Did not leave with a throbbing headache and wondering if I would be able to hear again. Tom Chapin carries on the folk music tradition, with tributes to his brother. What a great night :)
