Tokischa on Tour
The unpredictability and bold nature of Tokischa have become signatures for the Dominican rapper. Known for her explicit lyrics and diva persona, Tokischa has been making waves among the Latin and international music communities. She is touring across the United States in the fall of 2022. Her adult-only live performances are a spectacle to see as her concerts are filled with her provocative lyrics, catchy trap beats and screaming fans. She first entered onto the music scene in 2018 with her single "Pícala" with Tivi Gunz and she's continued to release singles, including "Empatillada" with Jamby El Favo, "Amor & Dinero" with El Jincho, "Linda," with ROSALÍA and "ESTILAZO" with world-famous DJ Marshmello.
Tokischa Live in Concert
Tokischa was born Tokischa Altagracia Peralta in Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic. Ever since her childhood, Tokischa has had a creative side, drawing, writing and acting in front of her mirror. Her rapid rise to fame has been due to her music and her personality. Tokischa has become anicon of the LGBTQI+ community. Her music video for her and ROSALÍA's song "Linda" featured trans women. Tokischa is also seen as a feminist icon to many because she is not afraid to be herself and express her truth. In an interview with The New York Times she said, "I know who Tokischa is. I know what Tokischa's doing." Along with personal recognition, Tokischa has received praise for her music as well. In 2019 her and Farina's song "Perras Como Tú" was featured in the action/thriller movie Miss Bala. Additionally, Tokischa performed "Linda" onstage with ROSALÍA at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards. Tokischa remains at the forefront of the Latin music industry with more than 6.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify and top songs "Linda" and "LA COMBI VERSACE" combining with more than 134 million streams.

Great performance by Latina Queen Tokischa! I went twice to see her and the show was very interesting and performance beautifully executed… I can’t wait for the next concert
She didn’t get on stage until 12AM (which was advertised)… on a Thursday night… anyway she was on for about 45 minutes and that was it. Not even $1 per minute. Disappointing but I’ve also never had a good experience at echo stage, so there’s that.
She only performed for like 30 min and we got there at 8:40. She got there at 12:40, it is more like a club experience rather than concert.
She has two long openers and her performance was Quick . She left randomly and didn’t even say bye
Honestly ignore the bad reviews, although it took a while for her to come out, the two DJ’s that came on before Tokischa literally slayed and got the whole crowd singing and dancing. When Tokischa came on I was just non stop smiling. She came down to the front of the crowd twice and the second time she came down, she grabbed my hand and i grabbed hers. There was a few times where she noticed me and it made me so happy. Not only that but one of the photographers asked to take a picture/video of me after I was hyping up one of the people who were dancing by the stage near Tokischa! Please don’t let others opinion influence your decision in going, I say it’s worth it to see her!
The performance was stellar but it only lasted 40 minutes. The audience was visibly unfulfilled and wanted more from the artist.
I'd like to start by saying that I've been listening to Tokischa for the past two years and have seen her perform at a few venues before this solo show. It was always a fun experience, so I thought a solo concert would be a blast. However, the overall structure of the event was strange. First, there were two DJs who were supposed to warm up the crowd, and they did, building up anticipation for 45 minutes. However, when they left, there was just music playing from a playlist on an empty stage, and we waited another 45 minutes before Tokischa came on. She performed two songs, talked a bit, and then left in the middle of the third song, leaving the dancers to finish without her. The next track began, and the dancers came back on stage, but she was missing. It was clear that this wasn't planned, as the whole choreography was designed to have a central figure. Then she returned in a new outfit, which I assume is what took her so long. She performed one more song and left again to change. She came back with a delay and alternated between singing live, using a phonogram, and performing over a recording. When it was live, it wasn't the full song, just some phrases. I would've been fine with this if the energy had been there, but it wasn't. Then Tokischa left again, and the crowd stood there confused for 15-20 minutes before people started leaving. I asked one of the soundboard engineers if that was it, and he said they weren't sure but it looked like it (i.e., nobody had any information on what was going on). Sigh. I understand it's her first show, but the least she could do is come out, thank the audience, and say a few words. We came to San Diego specifically for this show, so it was disappointing. It also seems like producers are turning her from a street-smart artist into a pop diva, which doesn't quite suit her. Tokischa is great, but perhaps it's too early for solo shows. She seems more comfortable and energetic in 200-person clubs. Again, I like her, so this is just an honest sharing of my feelings.
Had an amazing time. Good energy and party vibe. Amazing music to go with it
It was fun being surrounded with tan I can relate to by liking the same artist I do. Very fun experience
Went to the concert waited in line for almost an hour she arrived four hours late and performed for only 20 something minutes, not even half an hour and i have a video to prove it. she didnt even say bye she just walked off stage. First and last tokischa concert tbh it was horrible experience not worth the money i paid
