Tokischa on Tour
The unpredictability and bold nature of Tokischa have become signatures for the Dominican rapper. Known for her explicit lyrics and diva persona, Tokischa has been making waves among the Latin and international music communities. She is touring across the United States in the fall of 2022. Her adult-only live performances are a spectacle to see as her concerts are filled with her provocative lyrics, catchy trap beats and screaming fans. She first entered onto the music scene in 2018 with her single "Pícala" with Tivi Gunz and she's continued to release singles, including "Empatillada" with Jamby El Favo, "Amor & Dinero" with El Jincho, "Linda," with ROSALÍA and "ESTILAZO" with world-famous DJ Marshmello.

Tokischa was born Tokischa Altagracia Peralta in Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic. Ever since her childhood, Tokischa has had a creative side, drawing, writing and acting in front of her mirror. Her rapid rise to fame has been due to her music and her personality. Tokischa has become anicon of the LGBTQI+ community. Her music video for her and ROSALÍA's song "Linda" featured trans women. Tokischa is also seen as a feminist icon to many because she is not afraid to be herself and express her truth. In an interview with The New York Times she said, "I know who Tokischa is. I know what Tokischa's doing." Along with personal recognition, Tokischa has received praise for her music as well. In 2019 her and Farina's song "Perras Como Tú" was featured in the action/thriller movie Miss Bala. Additionally, Tokischa performed "Linda" onstage with ROSALÍA at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards. Tokischa remains at the forefront of the Latin music industry with more than 6.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify and top songs "Linda" and "LA COMBI VERSACE" combining with more than 134 million streams.

over her 30 minutes of performance was amazing but to have to wait 3 & 1/2 hrs for her to come on stage just for 30 minutes is ridiculous. drink were over priced. she is still up coming so hopefully when she more famous it’s better !
She understood the assignment, her concert was lit 🔥🔥
the concert was supposed to start at 7 didn’t start til 10:20. she did her thing amazing show but she finished with in 35 minutes. if the tickets were $40 wouldn’t care but it was $100. the place over charged drinks. TOKISCHA i love her but the show needs to be longer :(
As far as performance she was amazing and I loved it. But big night live was terrible and unprofessional. They clearly were way too over packed no breathing room at all. They kicked her off the stage after a little less than an hour in the middle of a song. Then kicked everybody else out right after very rudely. The parking price was super ridiculous and not enough staff to help people find where they needed to go. It was a horrible mess to say the least. As far as Tokicha I would definitely see her again just not at that place. I will never go to big night live again no matter what artist is going to be there.
The concert was supposed to be at 7pm, it started at 9:20pm… and it barely lasted an hour.. Only Tokischa singing and a dj, no back up dancers, no vj, no anything… and no reentry… If the price was $20 instead of $100 i wouldn’t be writing this… but I’m really disappointed
However it was very disappointing that doors opened at 7, she came out at 9, and finished her set by 9:57.
Initially it was a 21+ show. Then I find out the night of the event it is an all ages show. The security had no authority. Could not even see the artist on stage because there were people standing on the couches, tables and on the railings. The smoke of weed and vapes in the air. What a waste of money. Saw Tokischa in Lawrence, MA earlier in the year and believe it or not was 100% better.
Wish the show was longer, it was only an hour. Loved her.
As soon as Toki stepped on stage we all went wild! She gave and we were eating it up- translation: the whole performance and love shown towards us was immaculate and I would want to travel the world to watch her perform<3 she’s gorgeous, and talented Dominican artist, she’s a main character!
She performed amazingly. However, I believed that she deserved a better location or moreso space. People were clumped together.
