    Todd Snider Rules

by beejf on 9/11/09Aladdin Theater - Portland

What is not to love about Todd Snider? His clever approach to life keeps me thinking and contrary to what he says at the opening of his shows (I only say this because it rhymes) I think his refreshing view of our crazy world is such a nice break for those of us who tend to take life too seriously. Love love love him!

    Louis Gearshifter was excellent !!!

by Nascarchik on 8/16/09Mississippi Museum of Art - Jackson

I initially went to see Todd Snider however, Barry Leach and Louis Gearshifter stole the show! Louis plays and sings so smoothly - you didn't want to leave the show to go hear anyone else. FInally pulled away and Barry Leach, as always, what talent!!!! It was a great venue, very relaxing, excellent food, great music!!! We would do it all again tomorrow!!!

Todd Snider - amazing as always!

by erinls88 on 7/21/09The Ark - Ann Arbor

Todd never fails to entertain! I was so happy to hear Slim Chance as the opener. We never get tired of hearing his "in-between-song-stories".

Snider was awsome in Ann Arbor

by Vbnthang2004 on 7/17/09The Ark - Ann Arbor

I have heard that Snider can be different depending on the environment that he plays in, if so Ann Arbor is the ultimate place to see him. He loves a crowd that appreciates him and if so the crowd at the Ark loved him and he loved them back. He told stories and related his unique take on life to make a fabulous show. Two Encores. Let the crowd pick his play list. Even did covers.

    Todd Snider ...killer at play

by TheInfidel on 7/17/09The Ark - Ann Arbor

Todd Snider continues to poke the soft white underbelly of our collective complacency with the very sharp stick of his rapier wit. Caustic without being callous, angry without being strident, humorous without being sophmoric,Snider comes off as The Last Pissed-Off Troubador. His vast and varied catalog of work encompasses all the vagaries and vicissitudes that make up the American experience. His Ann Arbor show was a tour de force of harnessed energy, aimed squarely at his adoring audience. They sang, clapped, laughed, hollered out requests and generally acted as Greek chorus for Snider's tales of losers, miscreants and dead-enders,with much of his ire aimed directly at himself. His self-deprecating humor is surely the most endearing of his many fine song writing qualities and the beautiful, intimate setting of The Ark only added to his connection with his audience. Please go and see this man the first chance you get. You wil not be disappointed.

Todd Snider was great! This was the first time I saw him. Could have listened to him for hours. Still need to download his music to enjoy until the next time I can catch him live. He's a wonderful storyteller with a great sense of humor.

    Snider was awesome

by MercurialGirl on 7/15/09Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORK

If you want to sing and laugh and then laugh some more, see Todd Snider. Not only are the songs great, but the stories in between songs are even better. If you like his music even just a little bit, you will love him live.
