Tobe Nwigwe is an enigma. The lyrics and tone of his music tell the story of a difficult upbringing as a first-generation-Nigerian kid in the Alief neighborhood of Houston, TX. Tobe, Fat, the Black Angels Collective and all of the other amazing artists Tobe brings together are channeling art that is truly extraordinary. Each person on that stage brings it 100% - the performances are flawless. Tobe’s art has changed me, as powerful art will do. Buy the ticket and take the ride on the wave Tobe is creating. There is truly nothing else like it.
Every second, minute, & hour was worth it. I literally wasn’t even close to being disappointed, walked In the building & the ambience was so amazing. It felt like we were part of the biggaest family reunion & we were all one big happy family. Tobe had a vision to bestow upon up & he completely succeeded with illustrating his vision to our eyes! This was one the best concerts that I have went to in a while. The special guests were an amazing representation of H-Town and the south. Tobe is charismatic and entertaining and Phat was amazing as well. Loved everything they had to offer.
It was so high energy and immaculate as Tobe said. I had the time of my life!

The set up/ stage details were great. It was a inviting atmosphere and the staff were ver helpful and friendly.
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Tobe Nwigwe perform! All the Houston heavy hitters showing up, was just icing on an already great cake! The venue could fix a few things with seating, but the artist made everything worth it.

I was introduced to Tobe, Fat, & Nell (BET live performance of FYE FYE ) five days before I attended their Grand Rapids 2021 show. I was so moved by their music and their exceptional messages about my beautiful race of BLACK people. I drove from Memphis to Grand Rapids (9 hours) just to see them. I had the absolute best time EVER! My nephew/bodyguard accompanied me simply because I asked him. He wasn’t fully understanding the MonuMINTal Movement I was introducing to him. He does now. He is now a fan of Tobe, Fat, & Nell. Both of us agree, we would do it again without hesitation. It was worth EVERY second and EVERY penny spent. Thank you Tobe, Fat & Nell. See you in 2022 and beyond! I AM A FAN FOR LIFE.

This is by far the best concert I’ve ever attended. 4 hours of pure greatness and black excellence from start to finish!!! The love, talent, fearlessness and ingenuity was breathtaking!!!!!!
My experience was so amazing! The vibe was so lit and ALIEF was in the building!! I love the fact that it was kid friendly too!
I am so happy the staff did not hold the line! The wifi signal was so horrible I could not pull up ticketmaster to view my ticket. I had to check-in at the front desk.
I can't tell you how exciting the MonuMINTal tour was! All of the surprise guests that showed up! Mu Mu Fresh, Bun B, Paul Wall, D Smoke, Lil Flip, and Slim Thug! Tobe and Fat sold out 5,000 seats and everyone was either fully vaccinated or had a negative Covid test. Which made me less concerned about attending. Definitely an amazing show!
What an incredible show, so excited they ended their tour at home in Houston! Positive vibes and family friendly drum & bass concerts can be hard to come by and Tobe, Fat, Nell & crew did not disappoint. Highly recommend!
