TINA - The Tina Turner Musical on Tour
Experience the exhilarating Broadway musical that takes you on Tina Turner's trailblazing journey. The New York Times raves, "It possesses a seismic power! I've rarely heard an audience with this mighty a roar." And The Guardian cheers, "It's a celebration of triumph over adversity!"
With raw emotion in her voice and fire in her belly, Tina went from the little girl in small-town Tennessee, to the legend that ignited the globe with hits like, "What's Love Got To Do With It," "Proud Mary," "Private Dancer" and "River Deep." She made her own rules--defying the world's notions of race, age and gender. And it took blood, sweat, tears and triumphs to reach the top. A sold-out, smash hit in London, this is Tina's story, her way--brought to the stage by the Tony Award-nominated director, Phyllida Lloyd, and the history-making, Olivier Award-winning playwright of The Mountaintop, Katori Hall.

Having seen Tina live on several occasions when she was touring, I can honestly say that this performance was THE BEXT BEST THING!!!!
This play was a lot of fun! I really didn’t know her whole history so learning that made it even better.
Wonderful performance. Hats off to the cast! One of the most enjoyable musicals. Can’t wait to see it again.
There are certain scenes that were unnecessary graphic, even some adultas were disgusted with the performance (explicit content) of the first half The second half was great . You should consider in the future a version that is suitable for women and youth, maybe earlier in the day.
The actors, the dancing, the music and the energy of the musical TINA is amazing. The whole cast put their heart hearts and souls into the performance. Tina’s costumes were spectacular! This is a 5****performance.
The show was amazing, cast extraordinary and venue lovely at Boston's Opera House! What wasn't lovely was when seated, another patron insisted we had their seats of which we didn't, proved by my electronic ticket. Then at intermission, one of the ushers comes into the row I was seated and was rather aggressive demanding for me to prove...once again...that my tickets were actually mine. I had 3 tickets and pulled them up and showed her the first ticket but evidently I wasn't moving quickly enough for her so she chose to use her own fingers on my phone...not OK, and finally she accepted that I was seated in the correct seat. Hence my 4 star vs a 5 star review! That was unnecessary to go through and have the usher in my face along with my guests face. That aspect needs significant improvement! Great show...I thought the Opera House was better than that!
I absoutely love theater. Attend as many musicals that I can and afford. Tina blew me away awesome, fabulous. Loved the story, she was amazing Highly recommend.
The music was great. The child singer was awesome. It was great and my mother and others enjoyed the show
I was about 4 rows from the stage and was a little nervous feeling the energy from the performers. BUT I LOVED IT! If you are a Tina Turner fan this show is a must. Its the closest thing ill ever get to being at a Tina Turner concert. Best musical I have ever seen.
We saw TINA on Broadway in April so this was our second experience. As such I watched the performance through different lenses than the first timer. I saw more details and listened more intently to the storyline. Of course the music was sensational and the finale memorable.
I didn’t know of her childhood, very informative for a complete view of her life.
I was expecting a concert featuring Tina’s great songs. This being a play, I should have paid for seats as close as possible. The talent is fantastic. I could have listened to her for hours.
Highly recommended! It was Amazing and was very impactful!
Acting was very weak. Finale was a pleasant surprise. I would not call this a Broadway product…not even close. Perhaps on the evening I attended the cast was comprised of several understudies.
We were very pleased with he ease of procuring the tickets, excellent seats. The show was fabulous, incredible performances, incredible energy by the lead actors an d the swing group. Made for a very enjoyable experience
All of the performers were great. Tina was exceptional! Loved all of the songs.
I bought a single ticket on whim as I was in Boston working. From the seat, which was incredible, to the production, which was spectacular, I could not imagine a better way to spend three hours. Already a Tina fan, I was not expecting to experience such a wide array of emotions - from laughter to tears. The music was soul shaking, the musicians were flawless, and the cast blew me away. I am now an official member of Zurin’s fan club. I left the theater on an endorphin high that lasted well into the next day. Highly recommend.
Loved the Tina Turner Musical. Would recommend. The person playing Tina was great. Actors/Singers/Dancers were very talented. But the story could have did a better job at her history as a mom or lack of being present.
While the singers were excellent, and I love her music, this was a very weak “musical”. Story was disjointed and unsurprising. Characters were flat.
