    The GOATS of comedy

by Comedy lover on 5/22/23Rosemont Theatre - Rosemont

Amy and Tina were versatile in their preparation of skits and banter.I laughed so much as so did the rest of the Audience at the Rosemont Theatre. I have seen many big named comedians and can truly say that these ladies are the Best! It was a pleasant surprise to see Fred Armison ,do a bit with them during Chicago weekend update. Well worth the money spent.

    Fantastic ladies of comedy!

by Megs on 5/22/23Rosemont Theatre - Rosemont

Everything was perfect! Tina and Amy were hilarious. Their costume changes were well timed and on point. Fred Armisen was an amazing surprise guest! Start to finish, every part was fabulous!

    Bingpot!

by Alliso on 5/22/23Rosemont Theatre - Rosemont

Hilarious! I'd love to see these ladies again, I'm still hoping that Canadian dates will be added some day. No spoilers but there were two SNL cast members at the show I went to, not including Tina and Amy themselves

Great show! So glad I went. Tina’s standup about female parts killed.

Award show to pajamas. Living up to the hype.

    by Matt Hebron on 5/22/23

This show is a lover letter to their careers and I absolutely loved the show. It sounds like they tweak a couple things from east coast to Chicago (showcasing their master skills at leveraging pop culture with a couple quips on Succession and Ben Affleck not opening a door for JLO) and personalizing the session to the geography (bringing in Fred Armisen for bits in Chicago accents), and calling out Matinee folks Amy and Tina deliver. As I was sitting down, someone behind me said, “This is my Super Bowl”. I fully agree and it’s so special to be in the same room with them doing bits. I would agree, being close would be ideal. I sat in the Pit, and the intimacy felt like a Main Stage Second City show…without projection…it would be tough to achieve that intimacy if you’re far away, particularly when folks make suggestions. Flow felt great - gold standard for a 2 person show…I hope to see more of this, Tina and Amy are just titans in the comedy community, and like their video montages, there’s just so much we would love to see from them. They make a good point - a man with a puppet attracts a good headcount, maybe even too much compared to them…but let me say I just had an incredible time and I hope to see more live work from them, masters of comedy and such sharp pop culture references that I will never tire from.

Show was great, venue not so much

by Eclaire on 5/22/23Rosemont Theatre - Rosemont

We went early and were still late because three parking lots were full. It was super confusing. Show was great but no signage or photos allowed. We spent all this money…and they couldn’t handle crowd. Didn’t get drinks because didn’t want to miss show. So much money spent for good content but not a great experience. Rushed, stressed, not relaxing. I understand no photos during the show but at least put up a sign for fans to enjoy. I will opt for downtown Chicago venues vs this one going forward.

Great show - many elements more than just stand up

by JNP on 5/22/23Rosemont Theatre - Rosemont

Tina and Amy had several acts and revisited some of their best comedic moments while making it current and fresh, too. I don’t want to say more and spoil the plot. Well done ladies!

    Enjoyable time

    by Funny1 on 5/22/23Rosemont Theatre - Rosemont

This was a very all around enjoyable night out, first comedy show ever for me, I do love both these comedians and was glad to have the chance to see them together, had special guests seperate time not just together and even a question and answer style close out. I recommend it, the comedy range that they talk about is way less filtered!

The 3rd best work friend in this duo

by Pam on 5/22/23Rosemont Theatre - Rosemont

Tina and Amy are brilliant, smart, snarky, loyal and ridiculously talented. I have admired them for years and still strongly believe I could be the 3rd best friend in this group. Yeah I'm saying forget Maya R, Kristen W and/or Rachel D!!! I just need an hour of their time and I am SURE I could save them 10% on their car insurance and cement my place in the group whatsapp. I am 1 day younger than Tina Fey and was so excited to treat myself for my 53rd bday with hundreds of other white (ish) women!!! Fred A was a charming surprise and Meatbrick Molly was a great opener! I recommend Restless Leg for all fans and am working on possible menopausal symptom names for new tours, so I can continue to have them tour through my life. Altered Spacial Awareness? Wirey Chin Hair? Tinnitus?

Two Brilliant Women, Scripted Stuff and Costumes Unnecessary

by CF5mith on 5/11/23DAR Constitution Hall - Washington

Listening to these two be unscripted is all we need! There are costume changes and some skits, which were fine, but their brilliance stands alone. WONDERFUL no cell policy, for once I was able to watch a show without distractions and people filming.

Great experience. Tina and Amy were very funny. it was great to see them together. Their individual comedy blends and compliments the other. The theater is a perfect venue for a show. Not too big. Good acoustics.

    Really great

by ekl on 5/3/23DAR Constitution Hall - Washington

First, get closer seats, skip the rafters, go for the floor. Also bring glasses because there is no big screen projecting them. Second, it was just so nice to see them. It was like seeing your good friends from grad school who you missed and wish you could see more. I don't want to give anything away but they did the things you want to see. They told the good stories. They put the effort in. I think it was mostly scripted but they also had some time for questions (submitted in advance) and improv (which I don't love but I love how much they love it). I really wished I could go grab drinks with them after. I also wish I could watch them chat each night before I go to bed. SNL, 30 Rock, Parks, the Oscars, etc., all discussed.

    Super Entertaining!!

    by Y. R. on 5/3/23DAR Constitution Hall - Washington

Hands down one of the best comedy shows I have been to in a while! Truly enjoyed every second of it. It was exactly what I expected it to be and more. Kicked the show off with a monologue from the dynamic duo, followed by funny stories of how they met in the '90s, some stand-up comedy from each lady, sketches including Weekend Update (Rachel Dratch made an appearance and did her Debbie Downer bit), and the show ended with a Q&A. Opener was hilarious, too. Worth every penny, really! Wish there were Mean Girls references, aside from the 2000s video montage. But definitely check them out if you get the chance!

    Outstanding and hilarious show

by Kat on 5/3/23DAR Constitution Hall - Washington

In all the years of going to see comedy shows, it takes a lot to be 'extra.' Tina and Amy were not just extra, they were extraordinary! I laughed so hard, I was in tears. It's great to know that ladies you've respected for years are still super funny and audience-centered.

Great show by Tina and Amy!

by WeekendUpdate on 5/3/23DAR Constitution Hall - Washington

What a hilarious show! They started out this tour in DC, and I'm guessing by the end of the tour, they'll record it for Netflix or some other streaming service. Pairing up for a comedy tour is a wonderful idea for the both of them...it's akin to the current success Steve Martin and Martin Short are having on the road. Amy and Tina (and special guest - no spoilers!) offer their personal history coming up in the comedy scene, and they even try their hand at stand up comedy! If you're a fan of Tina and Amy, you'll love this show!

    Hilarious

by LC on 5/3/23DAR Constitution Hall - Washington

Tina Fey & Amy Poehler are HILARIOUS. Zarna Garg was a wonderful opening act and did an excellent job setting the mood and tone for the rest of the show. I haven't laughed that much in a long time. Witty, provocative and relatable, I would see them again!
