TIMEFLIES IN CONCERT:
Since 2010, New York-based duo Timeflies has been igniting dance parties across the country with their self-described brand of “electro hip pop dub-something”. At their adrenaline-filled live shows, producer Rob “Rez” Resnick and vocalist Cal Shapiro masterfully navigate a wild array of genres, keeping the energy high and the good vibes flowing as they unleash an eclectic mix of rap, pop, and electronic music. The pair’s aptly titled third album Just For Fun (2015) was written on tour, and the explosive energy of life the road is unmistakable as they perform the record’s larger-than-life tracks in concert. Whether they’re hyping up their “Flyhard” fans with the euphoric EDM anthem “All the Way” or showing off their funkier side with the genre-defying retro romp “Worse Things Than Love” (feat. Natalie La Rose), Timeflies always treats ticket buyers to a party-worthy concert experience full of catchy-as-heck pop jams and swaggering showmanship.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Timeflies’ roots trace back to a 2007 party at Tufts University, where an impromptu jam session resulted in Shapiro freestyling over Resnick’s beatboxing. Recognizing a musical rapport, Resnick invited Shapiro to sing in his funk band Ride. After the project dissolved during their senior year the duo began recording songs as Timeflies and posting them to YouTube. Their 2011 debut album The Scotch Tape was a breakout success, peaking at No. 4 on Billboard’s Heatseekers charts and leading to performances at college campuses and music festivals around the country. Following several popular EPs the duo made their major label debut on Island Records with 2014’s After Hours LP, a Top 10 hit on the Billboard 200 that yielded the party favorite “All The Way”. Since then they’ve performed on Good Morning America and Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! and licensed their songs to high-profile clients like the MLB, Red Bull, and American Idol. With their third album Just For Fun generating major buzz in 2015, Timeflies are poised for their biggest year yet as they gear up for the highly anticipated Just For Fun Tour.
This was the second time I've seen them in concert! And I would go again! They are great and a lot of fun! Their opener, S'kooled, was great too! Overall fun concert and had a good time!
School'd opened up for Timeflies and they were not that good at all, they were hard to hear and people were chanting for Timeflies half way through their set. Timeflies came out and they were great from start to finish! I hope they come back or somewhere close as I will go see them again!
It was an awesome concert! I wasn't a huge fan of the opening act, but Timeflies is an awesome group!
Everything was crazy except haveing to wait a half hour after a not so good pre-band played and before Timeflies.
Considering that these guys are my favorite band anyway, I was going in expecting awesomness, and was not disappointed. They just killed it; Totally worth seeing, and probably will see again next time they're in NY/CT
Amazing show! Wish there were assigned seats at points because of the shoving and pushing but I cannot wait to see Timeflies again. LOVE THEM <3

One of the best concerts i've ever been to. I cant even describe the amont fo mayhem that occurred in the crowd. From a guys perspective perfect amont of girls. If being pushed around at a concert is not for you then this is NOT your venue. If you dont mind the shoving and your looking to have an amazing night buy some tickets. The chainsmokers were amazing and knew exactly how to get everyone amped for the big show. Ridiculous
Best show I have ever been to. Timeflies was amazing venue was a good size for the amount of people who were there. Alcohol/air conditioned easy getting to and from the concert. Overall amazing, sounded great live, and Cal is hotter in person if that's even possible.
The show was Absolutely Amazing! Great sound, per usual and great people! Any time they are around, I will be going back!
You honestly don't even have to like the music. There are endless girls there to get with, the crowd is so hyped up, and besides, Timeflies isn't even that bad so it was odee fun.

Waited for three hours from 6:30-9:30pm and Timeflies still did not come on. There was no opener either making it extremely boring. We ended up leaving and saw that they finished at 10:45. That means they didn't even play for an hour! I was very upset that we waited that long and they didn't come on. My friends and I love Timeflies which made it even more of a frustrating situation. Bottom line, be more punctual and have an opener to keep people entertained.
Timeflies killed it (as usual), they rocked terminal 5 like no one else could! their electro-hip-pop genre was so overwhelming and the whole concert was a rock show crossed with a party/rave. Cal and Rez (Timeflies) connected so well with the crowd like they always do, and their performance was just inspired. Cal's freestyle rapping is always a highlight, and no one can resist it when rez drops the beat.
I expected an awesome concert but what I got was an hour long concert. The concert was supposed to go until 3 but ended at 1030. So not worth my money!!

Timeflies was absolutely amazing just as I expected! I've been a loyal fan since the very beginning so I had very high expectations, which they reached. They are so unique and have, in my opinion, some of the best music I have ever heard. Cal is obviously super attractive and Rez makes the sickest beats. With Cal and Rez together, nothing can stop them.
