The staff were super helpful and polite, seats were easy to find as well as following the correct signage. Even though there were a lot of people in attendence it never felt cramped or choatic.Lots of great people in the halls, the environment was super friendly and the show itself was so funny and upbeat. really happy almost everyone was up on their feet dancing or enjoying the show in their own way. I'll never forget it.
Couldn't stop laughing/choking. I only wished it was longer, although it was already 20 minutes longer than it was supposed to be.
Paid for "VIP" tickets for my date and I. They had fold out chairs... with little cushion, very tightly packed and of course it was leg numbing pain distracting durring most of the amazing show. For the $$$.$$ they asked, better seating should have been provided. Especially for such a nice venue. Let's not forget the homeless people along the entire way to the theater, and more coming out. Felt ashamed not able to provide any assistance. Sorry to say, I will not be purchasing tickets for this location ever again.
It was wonderful! Thanks Tim n’ Eric and Steve Brule!!
It’s been years since Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job was on the air and the live show delivered on giving the audience the feel of that program. Absurd and clever humor interlaced with great/hilarious music, funny and discomforting video packages and a huge celebrity guest appearance made the show a wonderful time.
Tim & Eric were the most Tim & Eric that Tim & Eric has ever been. Chicago show was a treat, as John C. Reilly made a guest appearance as Dr. Brule M.D....and if that wasn't enough Bob Odenkirk was also in the audience! Holla!
I had great seats and loved sitting up close to a show that I really wanted to see - it was a spectacular performance. As for the theater itself, the sounds and lights were up to par, but the conditions of the theater itself were abysmal. The seats were gross and uncomfortable, the staff were impolite, the bathrooms horrendous, and generally the whole building is in a state of disrepair. The amount panhandling allowed in front of the theater is also atrocious. (Be ready for the onslaught of dirty old men begging you for money, sandwiches, and change.) Luckily, the redeeming factor of staging quality performers makes up for the shortcomings. But if I had a choice of venues, I would not choose the Chicago theater.
Loved this show so much! I've always loved T&E and they did not disappoint! It was improved from when I saw them in 2017. Tims Cooking Tips is my favorite skit of all time and I was beyond thrilled when they did a segment on it! Great job!
Hilarious as always. Go if you have the chance to, especially if you're already a fan of them.
The best parts of the show were the videos. Stick to TV.
Great job! .
What a great show. It was the emotional roller coaster you can only expect with a Tim and Eric production. Will see them again when they come around.
The venue sucked. Really tight as far as chairs being cheap fold up chairs right up against each other. Also not too fond of their fans. Not a negative against anyone, just an unfortunate side affect of Tim and Eric. Stuck up, liberal fans. What are you gonna do.
We bought tickets for the Q&A but never got notice that it was before the show. Missed it, as only thing we saw was “doors open at 7”
Awesome show. Didn’t get porks disease thank god. Smiled the entire time. Was a good time.
I saw them back in 2016 at the Ace Hotel in L.A. and it was so funny I had a great time. I was there for a long time too. Got to see all the side characters as well. This mandatory tour wasn't as funny, it was just tim and Eric and no one else. And it was so short, when it ended I was literally like "really?" because I drove 3 hours to see them. It wasn't sold out like at the Ace Hotel either. Oh well.
I will say this up front that I am not the biggest Tim and Eric fan to begin with, my wife is, but I do like the Great Show Awesome Job Tim and Eric show and would figure that the majority of people are more familiar with that show than any of their other shows, which brings me to the problem. They really missed an opportunity with this live show. Any characters you loves from the TV show are missing from the live show, and I don't understand why. It would have been super easy for example to have the husband and wife news team, and then have John C. Reily bring back Steve Bruhl and just record a 30 second long scene and put it on the projector screen, but no they didn't think of that. No Uncle Muscles, no Beaver boys other than a few seconds in a video on the screen. I don't know, i'm probably the wrong person to review this since I'm not a die hard Tim and Eric fan, but again, it was an ok show, it was terrible, but it really could've been great, it just seemed like this tour was maybe rushed and not really thought out.
If you are a fan of the ole big T and E then you will love this show.
By far the best night of my life!! You should go see the mandatory tour 1. Because it’s unbelievably funny and 2. It’s MANDATORY!!
