keith urban and john mayer were amazing i have never seen so much talent play together. i was not a big john mayer fan before the show but i am hooked now!!!!!
I know its a benefit and all but It would have been nice to see John Mayer at his best. Didn't even have his whole band and sorry John but we like the way you sing and play and changing the tempo and the way a tune is played is not a good thing at a concert.Keith Urban was outstanding as usual.
The warm-up singer, Tyler, did a great job. However, I was disappointed in John Mayers' songs. The two that he played that I knew were done so differently that I barely recognized them. It just seemed like a guitar jam session from him. Keith Urban, on the other hand, was phenomenal! Truly enjoyed his performance.
I had the most amazing time at this concert. Front row center-doesn't get any better then that. I took the most amazing pictures and had eye contact. Great venue.....
Wow! what a night of great guitar playing! An unforgettable event...and for a great cause.
For the event, my boyfriend and I traveled from Boston to Vegas. We are both huge John Mayer fans and would have walked the distance to see him live. I had seen him twice before and he never disappoints.... Except this time. Keith Urban coheadlined the show so it was a mixed crowd of country fans and Mayer enthusiasts. Mayer came on stage dressed like an extra from footloose and claimed that he was 'trying something different and hope we enjoy it.' UH OH. He sang country, acoustic, twangy versions of his hits and abandoned his sweet, bluesy, rock style. Seven disappointing songs later he closed with a beautiful version of 'gravity' leaving us yearning for more...more blues, more guitar, more true Mayer. We were so disappointed and baffled as to what we had seen we left the show in a huff before Urban even started his set. Please, pretty please John. Stick to what you do best. Lose the country vibe and the straw hat.
We flew in from Indy for this show. I bought the trip an show tickets for my mans bday gift an we had an awesome time. It was the best concert we had been to. If you get a chance to go see it you should. You won't be disappointed.
Terrific show. John mayer is the best to ever play guitar.
as far as i know keith & john have played together three times, and i've been fortunate enough to see them twice now! these are two of my favorite artists and i still can't believe that i've had the chance to see them blow the roof off (although there is no roof at the gorge :) twice! i hope that i'm able to see them every time they tour, and especially when they play together! i love how john played some different arrangements for some of his songs. i especially loved the version of "half of my heart" that he played. i also love keith's energy & how he picks a place off the main stage to play for some of the audience that may not be as close to the front.
Concert was awesome. Just thought the setting up between John Mayer & Keith Urban took too long.
what an unforgettable show. The two together took cross roads to a new level. Both amazing gunners. Great show...worth the expensive tickets.
AWESOME!!! What a perfect duo!! Please do this again!!
Didn't like that we sat right behind the 2 cameras and men. Nice surprise Tiger Woods made an appearance. Good to see John Mayer perform, but Kieth Urban put on a fantastic show!
Keith Urban puts on the absolute best concert ever, and when you add John Mayer to the mix of Keith and his band... it is out of this world wonderful!! above and beyond beautiful sounding music... the excitement level is tops!! Loved every second of it... the only BAD thing to say about this, is it had to end!! would of loved to been there for hours and hours longer!! Well worth the money to go and listen to these guys!!
John Mayer was fun but the vocals were not very clear. Keith Urban rocked the house and had us all on our feet.
Keith Urban is an amazing performer. I cannot believe he came out into the crowd and played. He even signed his guitar and gave it away right there. John Mayer was good, was a litte disappointed that he did not play some of his older songs. However, my boyfriend who is a huge Mayer fan was impressed and kept saying how amazing John was.
John Mayer is the guitar playing god of our generation. I am a huge fan and he didn't let us down at tiger jam. Thanks for putting on an amazing show for a great cause.
My excitement to see John Mayer at the Event Center got the best of me- when I saw all the vacant seats in the front center and sides of the stage I was shocked, and even more disappointed to see that John Mayer opened for Keith Urban which was not mentioned in the ads for the concert. To my surprise John blasted through all his songs, which is very uncharacteristic of the highly talented singer song writer. However it is always a treat to see him live and if he played there again I would be first to go.
I loved it! John Mayer was great! The songs he did with Keith were really good. Can't wait to see him again.
The shortest concert ever, big disappointment !!! So sad...
