THROUGH THE ROOTS IN CONCERT:

California reggae rockers Through The Roots demand to be seen live, where their infectious energy truly comes to life. The band mixes chill island rhythms and spacy synths with poppy hooks and hip hop verses courtesy of magnetic frontman Evan Hawkins. On stage they tear through party-starting songs like the anthemic "Dancing In The Rain", the heavy-grooving "Zombie", and the upbeat "Higher". With their vibrant blend of reggae, pop, and rock it's no wonder this five-piece outfit tours extensively around the world, deliverying vibe-heavy sets that kep concertgoers begging for more.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Reggae rock collective Through The Roots was formed in San Diego in 2008 by vocalist and guitarist Evan Hawkins, keyboardist Brady O'Rear, drummer Taylor Boatwright, bassist Corey Simms, and guitarist Scott Goldberg. In 2011 they released the EP Here To Stay, which debuted at No. 2 on the iTunes Reggae charts. After an extensive world tour they released their full-length album Take You There in 2013, which peaked at No. 3 on the iTunes Reggae charts. The energetic and catchy album was nominated for Reggaeville Album of the Year and earned them an opening slot with Fortunate Youth and Micah Brown on Iration's Automatic Summer Tour. The band kicked off 2015 with a bang by continuing to deliver blissed-out performances on The Green's Chocolate and Roses Tour.

    Great reggae band and fun, small venue. Had a blast with many friends enjoying the music and cool vibe. Red Sage was cool too!

    These guys are amazing. Great energy and good vibes. They kill it with their music, lyrics, and most of all they Show Love back to their Fans!!!
