  • A fantastic show

by Jay on 11/2/25The Queen - WilmingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Thomas Dolby never disappoints. As one of the forefathers of electronic music he has always brought me tons of joy. He is a great singer, songwriter and musician and he will leave you spellbound. The show was phenomenal!

  • Thomas Dolby still believes in SCIENCE!!!

by Tomfromnj on 10/30/25The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

The Thomas Dolby show was very entertaining. He played his hits with enthusiasm and showcased an intriguing new musical project that was very entertaining. Go see him if you can.

  • Amazing show!

by CB on 10/30/25The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

This was more than a concert - it was an art show. Dolby seamlessly blended his signature synth with bits of music from other 80's artists, new and classic visuals, anecdotes, and personal insights. He's an extremely talented artist who seemed to truly enjoy what he was doing. He had great rapport with supporting musicians Andrew Lipke and Gail Ann Dorsey. Gail also performed a solo opening set - wow, what a voice!

  • Didn't pay to hear TD cover other bands. ☹️

by jrbookwalter on 10/29/25Roxian Theatre Presented By Citizens - McKees RocksRating: 3 out of 5

Having seen Thomas doing his solo thing live back in 2007, I was hopeful the "Iconic '80s"show would mean even more deep cuts and a laser focus on his work during the decade. Sadly, most of his songs were performed pretty much the same way he did in 2007, the rest (felt like about half the show!) was his experimental take on other artists from the era. Don't get me wrong, it was impressive for the first 10 minutes or so... until I realized that was going to be a big chunk of the show. (He also snuck in a couple of his early '90s songs which I felt was cheating.) Perhaps it was just unrealistic expectations on my part, but I left feeling pretty disappointed...

  • One of Our Submarines...

Wow... I got to re-live my 80's youth! I loved the show. Some interesting new material too!

Thomas Dolby and friends were very entertaining. The performance was original and kept the audience engaged in a refreshing way. Great to revisit the 80's in a new way!

  • Amazing Night!

by Dave on 10/26/25Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

Thomas was on point, displaying his mastery of the synth and samples in real time, while blending in old and new video. He was funny and charming while telling the back stories and history behind some of his songs, and what he's doing currently. A fun night, taking a trip back to the decade of decadence, the 80's!

  • surreal and pumping show!

  • They hit it out of the park.

by Raregroover on 8/26/24The Theatre at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic night! Great array of some legends and 80’s artists overall. Extremely fun, and best concert value I’ve ever had. Thomas Dolby doing a solo act up there and doing what he’s a master of was ne xt level and the highlight for me. Great to see others as well. Hats off to the organizers, venue and artists!

  • Too bad the sound was so terrible

    by Ms.E on 8/14/24Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 2 out of 5

No fault of the bands. I've been to many shows at the Fox and the sound is usually good. I've never been to a show with this many sound problems. Mics not connected and ear-splitting clicks and squeals continued through nearly the whole show. Even when the mics were on, the vocals were consistently lost below the instruments. It started with the Plimsouls saying something honoring someone who had died...no idea who because his mic wasn't working. It was the first time I'd seen the Tubes in years and I'm not sure I can count it as having seen them since I could barely hear the vocals. They finally seemed to get the issues mostly under control for the last couple of performers but what a disappointment!

  • Totally Awesome

The show was great! Each band played all their hits and some even played new material. The crowd stood up and danced, everyone had a good time.

  • Great concert

by Chris W on 8/1/24Meadow Brook Amphitheatre - Rochester HillsRating: 5 out of 5

Thought it was only Thomas Dolby, but turned out to be eight bands! Loved them all. Great musicians and stage presence. Thought Thomas Dolby would play more songs. The breaks between all the bands made for a long night.

  • Amazing and innovative performer

by Legendinmyownmind on 8/1/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Thomas Dolby's performance was definitely not your conventional rock performance, but that is by no means bad. It was really cool to see his performance and to hear him tell stories through his music and presentation. A truly innovative performer! The only complaint I have is that his performance seemed kind of short. It would have been nice if he performed for just a little longer.

  • Totally Tubular Festival

  • SO fun!!

by Tdot Freddy on 7/31/24The Theatre at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Dolby has been and remains a genius of his craft…though a shorter set given he was part of Totally Tubular, his time on stage was mind blowing as usual!

  • A little boring

by Tracy Bates on 7/31/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 2 out of 5

Thomas Dolby was boring, I literally was falling asleep 😴 We were highly disappointed and extremely pissed, with the venue in general. You raised the price of the chair rentals, not our fault that there wasn't a large crowd. Also, all the venues on top, were closed, we had to walk down the hill and in the corner, in order to buy anything outside of beer. I'm calling and complaining about this 🤬
