Third Eye Blind Concert Schedule

Having emerged from the late-90s post-grunge scene, Third Eye Blind is known for their brighter take on grunge sounds, often borrowing themes from classic rock and pop chords. The band, which debuted their single 'Semi-Charmed Life' in 1997 to critical acclaim, quickly rose to fame and eventually went on to win the 1997 Billboard Music Award for Best Modern Rock Track. Building on their impactful initial success, Third Eye Blind released a number of singles following 1997's 'Semi-Charmed Life,' three of which reached the Top 10 charts. They also toured with bands such as U2 and Oasis before their Bonfire Tour across the US in 1998 and releasing their second album, Blue, in 1999. In more recent years, the band has toured and performed at festivals such as Bonnaroo in Tennessee, Life is Beautiful in Las Vegas, Reading Festival in the United Kingdom, and In the Mix in the Philippines. Third Eye Blind live performances are noted as impressive for their meticulous use of lighting to set the mood for each individual song and for their high-energy interaction with audiences. Their Blessed by the Gods tour in 2017 received positive reviews for an impressive setlist that perfectly mixed songs from each era of their career.

Third Eye Blind Background

Originally from San Francisco, Third Eye Blind is headed by singer Stephan Jenkins. Although seeming to come out of an overnight success, Jenkins worked for years on the songs before he even met his future bandmates and their first self-titled album in 1997. Bandmate Arion Salazar noted that he was playing with Stephan in 1993 and opened for the Counting Crows in April of 1994 before Kevin joined and the crew began producing actual demos. The band received its name from Jenkins, who wanted to reference the metaphysical concept of a mind's eye. Other members have included guitarist Kevin Cadogan and former Counting Crows drummer Brad Hargreaves, each contributing to the overall success of the post-grunge group. The album Third Eye Blind went six times platinum while the album Blue went single platinum in the United States. Songs such as Jumper' and 'How's It Going to Be' reaching the Top 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100. In total, the band has sold around 12 million records worldwide. Third Eye Blind at the Upwelling was Solid

by TKisforTheKing on 7/13/09The Norva - Norfolk

Aside from the 10th anniversary Third Eye Blind Concert at the Fillmore in San Francisco, this was one of the best concerts I could have seen. Love the venue as it has a classic and intimate feel and 3EB put on a very good show. I also liked The Upwelling, a band I'd never heard but thought was solid.

    Great preformence, ok concert

by 3ebReview on 7/13/09Lifestyle Communities Pavilion - Columbus

Ive seen third eye blind four times live and they preformed well as always. But there was no opening band to speak of and that made for a really short concert.

3eb- show just OK in my book, and I'm a huge fan

by SmellyKid on 7/12/09Lifestyle Communities Pavilion - Columbus

I've loved 3eb forever, and I'm a huge fan. I've never seen them live until this show, and I gotta say I was let down. They didn't have the energy in their show that I was expecting, nor the set list. They played a lot of their newer songs (which is understandable, yes), but not nearly enough of their older stuff that I love. I say seeing them once is enough for me. Probably wouldn't go to another one of their shows.

    Absolutely amazing!

by jolyvi on 7/12/09Lifestyle Communities Pavilion - Columbus

3EB nailed it. They completely played to the crowd, showed us how much they love performing, and above all shared their love of music with the fans. They played all my favorite songs and the crowd was singing along to every word.

    Very Nastalgic! Blown away!

by Melpyryt on 7/12/09House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic City

Third eyed blind was very nastalgic. It really brought me back to the 90s. I loved the 90s and sometimes it is nice to dwell on the past. To think that Third Eye Blind is still goign strong is amazing. They even have a new album coming out which they played one or two songs from their new album at the show.

    Love Third Eye Blind

by Yackay1 on 7/12/09Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom - Hampton Beach

Great show, a lot of teens which was surprising but Steven is a great artist and performer the band never misses a beat. The songs are even better in person than on the album, if you are a fan you will love this show!

    Always amazing

    by wee7erkid4 on 7/12/09Palace Theatre - Greensburg

This event was the second time that i had seen 3EB. The last time was in a college gym. Being in a theatre this time both made the atmosphere different and it just gave the show a completely different vibe. This band is a must see for anyone who even just knows their hits.

    Sickest Concert of the Summer

by Ink2503 on 7/12/09Lifestyle Communities Pavilion - Columbus

I drove down from Cleveland to see these guys play in Columbus. They have always been one of my favorite bands, but I had some reservation about how they would be live. Bottom Line: It was the sickest concert of the summer. The best part about the concert was how many true fans were there. The entire audience seemed to belting every word of every song. I enjoyed every minute of this rock show sing-a-ong. Thanks Third Eye Blind. A True Fan - Chris

    Awesome show at amazing venue

by FlyInBack on 7/12/09House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic City

The show was amazing! The band has tons of energy throughout the entire show -- slow songs and fast. The venue helped make the show awesome as well. The mood that the venue set was very energetic and upbeat!

    Best Ever?

by YourNickname on 7/12/09Lifestyle Communities Pavilion - Columbus

Simply an amazing concert. The band was so personal and the stage set up made them so up close. Third Eye Blind was fantastic. I heard they have been to Lifestyles before and I have made up my mind to see them every year they come. The energy, the fans, the music, it was all unbelievable.

    SIMPLY UNBELIEVEABLE

    by ckitchen84 on 7/12/09Palace Theatre - Greensburg

Third Eye Blind put on one the best shows I've ever seen. They are absolutely amazing. I would most definitely go see them again. I can not wait for their new CD to be released. My only recommendation is that they tour with another known band such as the Gin Blossoms, Matchbox 20, etc. I would love to see a tour like this. Also, please play 'How's it Goin' to Be'! THIRD EYE BLIND IS A MUST SEE!!!!!!!!

    3EB was absolutely amazing!

by j3nnyD on 7/12/09Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom - Hampton Beach

I got to the show 3 hours before the doors even opened, so that was 4 hours before the show started. Got front row standing space, center stage, made eye contact with the band. LOVED that they played a mix of old and new songs, but more old :) It was my first time seeing them in concert and it was just absolutely amazing! I'm lost for words, that's how good it was. I didn't want them to stop playing! I can't wait until they come around again. I will be there and of course front row, again!! :)

    Third Eye Blind

    by MarieDin24 on 7/12/09The Norva - Norfolk

The concert was awesome! Third Eye Blind played their old-time hits and also a preview of their new songs. The lead singer engaged the audience and even threw his cape out. I would see them again at the Norva in a heart beat. I would recommend coming early because the concert hall got crowded quickly! In addition, if you are not a fan of bright lights that can give you a headache, bring some sunglasses to still enjoy the concert!
