About

THIRD DAY IN CONCERT:

With over ten albums of convicted, uplifting Christian rock under their belts, Dove Award-winners Third Day are one of the genre's most beloved acts.  Known for frontman Mac Powell’s distinctive voice, the band consistently inspires fans with their spirit-filled live concerts. With the announcement that they would be joining the  2014 Rock and Worship Roadshow tour, fans are chomping at the bit to see them live along fellow Christian rock legends Skillet and a host of special guests.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

“They are consistently great, sound incredible live, keep the set lists fresh, and connect with the audience.”

“Every band member is so talented, but it's their lead singer, Mac, who makes the band the huge Christian rock hit that it is. His voice has matured to the point that his singing seems effortless and his tone really sets his voice apart among other Christian rock singers—or rock singers—for that matter.”

“Nothing like going to a concert and ending up at a worship service. These men do great work for the Lord.”

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Founded in Georgia in the early '90s by frontman Mac Powell, Christian rockers Third Day have sold over 10 million albums in the United States alone, making them one of the most successful contemporary Christian rock acts in the business. In addition to chart-topping spiritual songs like “Cry Out to Jesus,” “Call My Name,” and "Nothing At All," the band has received four Grammy Awards and 20 Dove Awards.

    Family Force 5 rocked out!

by FF5Fan on 7/20/09Worlds of Fun - Kansas City

Our youth group had a great time at Heart Fest on Saturday night. The weather was perfect - 78 degrees. My daughters loved Remedy Drive and Family Force 5, but the youth group also liked Barlow Girls and Third Day. I, however, was there to see Family Force 5. Those guys were so energetic and fun to watch. Their music is upbeat and loud, and they were fun to dance to. I am hooked and want to see these guys again!

    3rd Day was unbelievable.

by oriole on 7/20/09Worlds of Fun - Kansas City

We enjoyed most of the concert , but loved 3rd day a lot. I could have listened to them another 2 or 3 hours. Family Force 5 was not for us, but I realize that a lot of young people were there for them only. I'll always remember when we first started going to these Christian concerts, the groups would say, "We are not here to call attention to ourselves, but to give praise to the Lord through our music." In my opinion, Family Force 5, in all their actions, did nothing but try to call attention to themselves in their performance, but once again, this is just my opinion.

    Great concert!

by teach2learn on 7/20/09Worlds of Fun - Kansas City

Our family saw Family Force 5 and Third Day. Both were amazing! Family Force 5 got the crowd jumping and rocking with their amazing beats and stage antics. Third Day really worked the crowd with sing-a-longs and great messages/prayers. People around us said that Barlow Girl and Remedy Drive were great, too. Wish we had gotten there in time to see them. Awesome concert! Would recommend to anyone.

    FF5 does it again!!

by FF5Fanatic on 7/19/09Worlds of Fun - Kansas City

This was the 4th time seeing Family Force 5 in concert, and the energy of Family Force 5 never ceases to amaze me. What an amazing performance. Combined with the extra talent of Barlow Girl and Remedy Drive, as well as Third Day, this made for an unforgettable concert. Also, a concert at Worlds of Fun means you can be there for over 12 hours, ride amazing rides, AND see an incredible concert. Worth every penny.

    Awesome

by LeatherCEO on 7/19/09Worlds of Fun - Kansas City

Every group was really truly awesome. My son and I knew that God was there. I did feel a little let down that Third Day didn't play "I want to sing a song for you Lord'. That was the song that got me to start buying Third Day's Albums. Also I thought they should have sang the whole entire song of "Cry out to Jesus", there were guards there listening and watching the concert and there was a lady behind me that had a bad mouth, so I think that song could have reached people. Other than that I was very happy with the concert and I am glad I took my son.
