Four years after forming in a London school, The xx unleashed their 2009 eponymous debut via Young Turks. The 11-track collection not only earned accolades from critics across the globe, but it also scored the U.K.’s coveted Mercury Prize and landed the dream-pop band in the limelight stateside. Singles from their indie-label foray graced American television programs like “Person of Interest” and “90210,” as well as a Karl Lagerfeld runway show and NBC’s coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
Along with their own headlining theater tours and concerts alongside Friendly Fires, Hundred Waters and The Big Pink, the musical trio has performed at several festivals, including the Matt Groening-curated All Tomorrow’s Parties in 2010, Coachella, Sasquatch Festival and Lollapalooza, among others.
For their most recent effort, 2012’s “Coexist,” the indie pop outfit expanded their ticket-buying base with post-dubstep EDM influences. Though mellow, these touches can be heard in the album’s first two singles, “Angels” and “Chained.”
I've been looking forward to seeing the xx play for a while now and I can safely say they exceeded my expectations. It appears that this was the largest show they have ever headlines, which was as they mentioned very special for them. Their performance was incredible.
The show was amazing! The opening acts were alright, not great but alright. Once The xx came out the mood of the crowd changed instantly. Everyone was so chill and excited. The band really knows how to put on a show. Watching them play live was perfection. They played my favorite songs: Crystalised, VCR, Angels, Sunset. You can see that they really love what they do. I would definitely attend another of their shows. Such great vibes!
The show was fabulous & I would definitely see them again given the chance & available finances of course...Just seemed a little choreographed as if they do the same thing nightly. All in all, definitely worth seeing. The tickets were a bit more than I expected (then add the fees!) but they did put on a good show. Just wish I didn't have to drive 3 hours to see a good show. I did like their choice of items they were selling such as pillow cases & socks, some different than I have ever seen at a show & I have been to plenty. I thought it was cute & unique as well.

This group is amazing...2nd time I've seen them live. I've loved their music from day one and hands down they are even more incredible live. The only downside of this concert was that it was absolutely way too short - the band went on at 9:24pm and were done at 10:36pm. I've never experienced that at an event this scale. I hope in the future they consider performing longer...I will definitely continue supporting them.
The xx sounded great and played all the favorites. Just wish they had played a little longer.
The venue was wonderful you had a great view no matter where you were. The XX were amazing they played flawlessly. They even performed different renditions of their songs. Prepare yourself for an awesome show if you go see The XX.
Amazing show. Made me like the second album even more. Loved that they did variations on their originals. Loved every minute of it.

It was overall amazing. Great sound, spectacular lights, and all the ingredients to create a chill, passionate and unforgettable experience.
I have been a fan of the xx for years, but have never had the chance to see them. I am so glad finally did! This was hands down the best concert I've seen, loved how connected they were with the audience. On top of that, the opening band Hundred Waters was amazing as well, and the fox theater is so beautiful! Loved everything about the show except that the break between hundred waters and the xx was really long. But still fantastic :)
Every song was performed on spot and precisely. Jamie xx picked it up and danced up some of the numbers. The members were so humble and greatful to be in front of us. An incredible performance at the perfect venue.

The Greek Theatre is an incredible venue and we were fortunate to have epic weather. XX put on a show that truly showcased their music. There was a cool light show that accompanied the music and made for a really unique experience.
these guys are great. super talented. couldn't have picked a better venue to see them. there wasn't a second that i didn't love about this show.
This was definitely one of my favorite shows. I wish I could listen to them perform live everyday! If you're a fan of their album, hearing them live is a step up from that. Some artists aren't as good live as they are on an edited album, but this group is exceptional. Don't expect anything short of amazing with this band! :)

The concert ended really early, but it was worth going to. Their voice penetrates your soul, and if you love them, I highly recommend going to their show. Overall, it's an unforgettable experience.
