After 21 years of entertaining children around the globe, The Wiggles will introduce three new cast members including the first-ever female member, Emma Watkins as the Yellow Wiggle. Founding member Anthony Field, known as the Blue Wiggle, rounds out this vibrant group with Simon Pryce (Red Wiggle) and Lachlan Gillespie (Purple Wiggle).
Always educational and entertaining, The Wiggles will be joined onstage by Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus for an extra wiggly good time. This marks the first time that North American audiences will get to meet the new line-up and hear new music, as well as sing along to their favorite hits which are all incorporated into their live show. Taking Off! features 21 new feet-stomping songs including the catchy soon-to-be favorite, “Do The Propeller!” as well as "Beep! Beep! Buckle Up!” "Emma (with the Bow in Her Hair)" and classics such as “Rock-A-Bye Your Bear” and “Get Ready to Wiggle.”
Great songs, lots of energy and very entertaining! We loved the concert!
I took my two daughters to The Wiggles Go Bananas concert and the really enjoyed it. The seats we had were awful (they should not be allowed to sell tickets for that spot) but the ushers ended up moving us (without even being asked) so that we could actually see the stage. The Wiggles did a great job interacting with the audience. They even read the poster that we had made for them. My kids are 1 1/2 and 5 and they both equally had a great time. The only thing I would have changed is the fact that the show was pretty short. It only lasted about an hour, so I wouldn't spend a ton of money on the tickets.
The show is a fund event for kids of all ages, we brought our two daughters, 3 and 10months and they both loved every minutes of it! The ballet and gymnastics were amazing and all the girls' favorites songs were played!
The wiggles are a fun loving show great for yound children and my husband and I really enjoy them as well. They do a great show I would watch them again but maybe not at ARCO there was a security guy there that would not let our kids dance stand walk or anything and at these shows kids are supposed to do that they even leave room to. He ruined it for many people. As for the show it seemed short for the money not over 1 1/2 hours last time it was lonh=ger with an intermission that was better.
The show was great. It was the perfect relaxed atmosphere for children of all ages. My toddler was engaged the entire time sometimes with the people behind us:)
The stage props and lighting were very good and the Wiggles played many of their favorite tunes. I took my 4 yo neice and she fell asleep 1 hour into the 1.5 hour show. I thought it could have been a little more interactive for the kids. I would recommend to see it once but i dont know if I would take my neice to see them again.
My 4 and a half year old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed Wednesday afternoon's Wiggles performance. Comfortable seats with good views of all parts of the stage at a reasonable price, friendly, courteous staff and a great show by the hard working and talented Wiggles.
The Wiggles Live show was fantastic if you have young children!! The group was so interactive with the crowd!! We had the best time singing songs and dancing. My only fault would be with Arco Arena, I bought my tickets online and printed them at home my ticket stated " no audio or video allowed" But as soon as the program started the Wiggle performers stated "Please take lots of pictures, tape the show we want your child to remember this experience" The wiggles are TOPS in my book they care more about the kids & having a good time then what the venue they are playing wants them to do. Shame on you Arco!
Took our four and seven year old...it is the third time we have seen the Wiggles, and they do not disappoint! Pictures and videos are encouraged, and the characters involve the audience. They NEVER stop moving or smiling.
This is my third time seeing The Wiggles in concert. My first time was when Greg was still with The Wiggles. We also went last year (which was our first experience seeing Sam). Sam is phenomenal! Their concerts are always entertaining. This was probably the most entertaining concert yet! It was packed with action; gymnastics, acrobatics...you name it. Our three year old was completely engaged through out the entire concert. I only missed a little more banter with Captain Feathersword. Also, I wish they would have performed a few more of their hits. I really cannot complain though. We definitely enjoyed ourselves. I am amazed that, after all these years, they are still outstanding performers. I would love to go again! I am hoping they are coming back next year!
I thought the Wiggles show was great! My two daughters 3 and 5 years old danced, laughed and had a great time. They were very engaging and the show itself was entertaining for the adults as well. I would go see them again if they come back to Sacramento.
My son is a major Wiggly fanatic, so I knew he would love the show no matter what. The show was great, but don't expect the new songs to be the majority of the show. They played a lot of old favorites and a couple of new ones. Do expect to see some really great choreographed dancing - they are really good. There were a few times when I was laughing - only the adults know why it might be so funny that Jeff is "sleep-laughing." There are a lot of gymnastic/acrobatic type performances. It was our first live show, but some parts felt familiar from watching the live DVDs, in a good way. They take time to read your signs and collect the roses for Dorothy. We didn't want it to be over!
We arrrived early and found our wonderful seats. The show started ten minutes late. At some points throughout the show, the microphone would slur or slightly static. I could not make out some of the words for their songs. The Wiggles acrobats were wonderful. Sometimes they seemed a little tired and showed it. Even with all these little tid bits running through my mind and needless to mention the lady two rows behind us kept saying "I can do that., I can do that too." was really annoying. My daughter who is two loved the show. Oh yes, on my tickets it said no cameras, audios or videos. I got there and everyone had one. I was not really happy.
I was all prepared to hear all the songs from the Wiggle's brand new CD and not get to see some of their classics or some fun songs from more recent albums. I was so pleasantly surprised though that they really only did one, their main hit from their brand new CD and the rest were all our family favorites! We had everything from Yummy Yummy to You Make Me Feel Like Dancing! It was great! What surprised me the most was how multi-talented everyone is! Anthony, Jeff and Capt. F.S. were performing gymnastic feats, the wiggly dancers participated in a drumming number--there were treats for the eyes and ears at every turn. My daughter had a wonderful time, and so did my husband and I. I cannot WAIT to see them again.
Our 3- and 7-year-old daughters had a wonderful time dancing, singing, and yelling "WAKE UP JEFF!!" The Wiggles do an amazing job of connecting with their audience, and they obviously are doing this for the children. They love the kids and they love what they do.
Terrible sound. Very Hokey. Stick to TV. Would not recommend
The wiggles put on a great show! My two kids (age 5 and 21 months) Loved it!!!
This was a great show as usual. But something must have been wrong with the sound system. You could barely hear them sign and even the music was not so loud.
The Wiggles put on a very entertaining show for all ages. They make an effort to get close to all the kids, sing the favorites and have great choreography. This was our second time and we'd still go again.
This show is perfect for the preschool age. Ther performers engage the children and make them comfortable in this new to most environment. Keeping the venue somewhat small helps make it suitable for small children. The arrangement of seats allowing for dancing and lots of wiggly little bodies was pleasant. The show moved at a perfect pace to keep small children engaged and the crowd interaction was great.
