    Great show for Toddlers!

    by HappyMommy81 on 1/2/18DR2 - New York

We purchased premium tickets. The tickets were a bit overpriced in my opinion. And I think all the kids should be given a chance to meet a puppet regardless of the type of ticket they purchased....BUT that aside...my son (19 months) loved every minute of it. He was clapping and yelling the names of the puppets and totally engaged. It was fun to see him light up. Overall I would do it again!

The show was enjoyed by our 16 month old daughter. She recognized the animals from Brown Bear and The Very Hungry Caterpillar and enjoyed watching them move around on stage.

    Overpriced

by PDeri on 12/13/17DR2 - New York

This “puppet” show was bare bones when it could’ve been so much more. There is virtually no scenery and 3 actors waving stick puppets around. Children 5 and under will like it but any older will probably be bored. When it’s done your child will want a caterpillar priced at $25 to round out your pocket emptying adventure.

    Great event for young kids!

by NYWorkingMomma on 11/22/17DR2 - New York

We took our 4 year old daughter, and 2 year old son (who never sits still) to this event and they were both mesmerized. Our son was in heaven - shouting out every animal, character, object that came on stage and my daughter had a grin on her face throughout the entire show. Perfect length as well, about 50 minutes, for kids that age. Well worth the money and whatever effort it takes you to get there!!

Nice play, booster seats missing, a bit expensive

    by Lilith13 on 11/8/17DR2 - New York

My children enjoyed the play. It was very nice. But the price is a bit too much and I missed having booster seats for the children. We were on the last row and with the adults in front of us, my children could not see and both of them ended up on my lap. So, basically, we paid for three seats and used only one.

Perfect for a 2.5 yo crowd

    by mmmmom123 on 10/24/17DR2 - New York

My & my friend's toddlers found the show riveting, captivating and fun. It was just under an hour and a perfect length for my 2.5 yr old. He talked about hungry caterpillar excitedly for days after... As a parent I wish they didn't push selling toys down our throats (when you walk in, first thing your kiddos see is an abundance of toys they immediately want). I brought his The Hungry Caterpillar book with us and was able to distract him. So unless you want a $25 toy, bring one from home. We didn't get VIP tickets and were asked to leave right after the main portion of the show while staff member named people who bought additional package and asked them to stay - so I cannot comment on after show portion.

    Cuteness

    by mxmama808 on 10/19/17DR2 - New York

My family of four attended this show about a week ago. We have a 5 1/2 year old girl and a 1 1/2 year old boy. They both loved the show. Our son's reaction to the show was priceless - worth every cent. His face lit up every time a new character/puppet came on stage. The characters/puppets were both brightly colored and expressive. We sat way in the back and were still able to enjoy the show. Would definitely recommend this show to parents bringing their young ones to enjoy theatre in NYC.

Great show, a little long in the middle but kids loved it. Puppets were large and easy to see from the back.

Hungry Catapillar show left us hungry for more

by Hungrygramdma on 10/11/17DR2 - New York

This show is delightful and perfect for toddlers. even my four-month-old granddaughter was riveted. They hit all the right notes for preschool kids. And the second my three-year-old grandson saw the stage he said “this is so much fun.” Go!

Hungry Caterpillar a Five Star Delight

    by cutejurassicdog383 on 10/9/17DR2 - New York

We took our 3 1/2 year old grandson to this show and it was a delight for both him and us. The venue was a small theatre so that everyone has a great view. Upon entering, there was a coloring station for the children to color caterpillars and butterflies. The puppetry was amazing and the best part for us, as grandparents, was to see the joy in our grandson's face and to watch him participate in the recitation of familiar stories. He was entranced from beginning to end.

    Awkward

by BriansReview on 10/3/17DR2 - New York

Play was ok and kept my four year old's attention. However, at the end they made an announcement that the kids could line up to take pictures with the catapillar. My son got all excited so we went down there -- plus they mentioned a few times there would be time for pic at the end of the play. Of course, when we get there they basically yelled at us and told us you needed to be a VIP to take a picture. We weren't vips (didn't even know it was an option) so the puppets left and my son and a bunch of other kids started crying. I get if they want to make more money with a VIP program, but don't get 4 year olds all excited and kick them out for reason they don't understand. It could've been handled much better and kinda ruined the whole experience.

    Great show!

by SaraSasta on 1/31/15Music Hall Center - Detroit

Great show for toddlers and young kids. Length of the show was just right. The kids were really excited to ask questions and talk to the puppeteers after the show. Would go again. Great family event.
