The Used in Concert
Bursting onto the scene with the tense crunch of post-hardcore guitars and singer Bert McCracken's piercing shriek in the early aughts, The Used were stalwarts of the "screamo" sub-genre, drawing comparisons to contemporaries in Thursday, Taking Back Sunday and My Chemical Romance. Always a formidable live act, The Used are as closely aligned with the hard rock acts of the 80s as they are with their post-hardcore brethren, with vocalist McCracken lending his plaintive howl to his bandmates' razor-sharp maelstrom and a full battery of strobe lights. Their latest full-length album Vulnerable featured more overly theatrical flourishes and led with the single "I Come Alive." They supported the album with the Vulnerable Tour 2012 and reissued the album as a two-disc set that included B-sides and rarities, called Vulnerable (II) in March 2013.
The Used are unlikely exports of Orem, Utah, a place not known for hard rock. That didn't stop guitarist Quinn Allman, bassist Jepth Howard, drummer Branden Steineckert and McCracken from playing the local clubs before touring to support their 2002 self-titled debut. Their reputation as a live act saw them punch their ticket for coveted spots on the Warped Tour and Ozzfest. 2004's In Love and Death, which peaked at No. 6 on Billboard's Top 200, announced their arrival to the big leagues, spawning singles, "Take it Away," "All That I've Got" and "I Caught Fire." In 2006, the band replaced longtime drummer Branden Steineckert with Dan Whiteside and released their fifth album Vulnerable through their own label, Dental Records. The band embarked on a series of concerts to support the album that summer. The Used released an EP of new material titled The Ocean of the Sky the following summer. Currently, the band is rumored to be going on tour in 2014, but no official announcements have been made.
The Used are touring on the Rockstar Energy Drink DISRUPT Festival in 2019. The touring festival features unique lineups in each city, including The Used, Thrice, Circa Survive, Sum 41, The Story So Far, Atreyu, Sleeping With Sirens, Andy Black, and more.

I was very excited to finally attend this new venue, and it did not disappoint. The used was amazing to finally see live. As an avid concert goer I have had my fair share of less than satisfying concerts. It’s never fun to see a band that sounds worse love than on record- but that was not at all the case here. I am 30, and as soon as the used encouraged a circle pit to form my husband friend and I joined right in!
This show was so good! My 14 year old self would be so proud! The venue was also really nice! Overall a great experience.
This was my first time seeing The Used and second time seeing Sleeping with Sirens and they were both incredible! The venue was really nice and I had a great time. I definitely recommend anyone to go to see either band.
One of my favorite concerts to date! I’ve only been able to see The Used in person one other time, but I’ve been a huge fan since my teenage years. I will always find my way to The Used anytime they are nearby 🖤
I'd give this 10/5 if I could. The venue was easy to get into, the bathrooms were immaculate, the drinks were on point. Sleeping with Sirens was an incredible opener. And The Used killed it.

I had such an amazing time. All the bands were great and the venue was really nice.
The venue was perfect! Everything was clean and the games to play while waiting was fun! Plenty of concession booths for drinks and food! Everything was awesome!! The show was 10/10! I just hate how expensive the drinks were. I felt $15 was a little much for a can of margarita. But it is what it is!
I’m really glad bands continue to tour together, and seeing Sleeping with Sirens and the Used was definitely worth the drive upstate. I’d seen The Used in concert before, and knew they were great performers, but this was my first SWS concert and they equally delivered. Great show through and through
It was honestly one of the most fun shows I've seen. The Used is excellent. They have a fabulous stage presence. The set was great. The opening acts were good, too. It was just a really great time all around.

It was great show, always love seeing The Used and my first time seeing Sleeping With Sirens which was awesome. Missed out on seeing them in Vegas so I was happy to see them come to MN.
The Used is amazing live, they play a good mix of their old and new songs and Bert knows how to keep a crowd.
Even on a Tuesday, The Used still did confetti and a full show. It was a fun concert and they sounded great.
Been a fan of The Used for quite some time. I was very happy that they did all of the songs I was looking forward, to as well as Bird and the Worm. I literally blast that song on repeat when I want to hear it. I will kost definitely be back to see them again if they come to Michigan.
Amazing bands! Great venue. Small enough to still feel intimate but big enough to still get rocked. The sound was amazing and the music even better!
Not sure what happened, but the sound was all off. I couldn't hear the Dead Americans' vocals at all and the band was so loud, I couldn't hear anything else. Sleeping with Sirens was better so I had my hopes up that The Used would be amazing. I've seen them plenty before, I know what Bert should sound like. The sound for The Used left something to be desired. Thankful I knew the majority of his lyrics, otherwise wouldn't have been that great. Makes me wonder if the sound was even tested before the show. Bert, I know your talent, and this show did not showcase it. But don't worry, I still love you.

The Used is one band that consistently puts on a great show! They played a mixture of old and new songs, all with TONS of energy! The venue was perfect...lots of space, great sound and lots of event staff on hand to help. I'd definitely return to both the venue and the band!
Great time as always at this venue!! Parking, seating, and getting out was easy and great. Bathrooms always clean and plentiful. 💜
