I've been going to Urge concerts since the early 2000's and don't plan on stopping.

  • Once again, top notch show

by MrNicholas on 8/21/23Rating: 5 out of 5

All the bands were very enjoyable, but there’s nothing like The Urge! PTMFUS! And the merch tent had all of the impossible-to-find CD’s so I could complete my collection.

  • The Urge is STILL going strong after all these years

    by Max S. on 8/21/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I have seen The Urge live several times over the past 20+ years and they never disappoint. Steve Ewing still plays every single show with as much passion and energy as he ever had. I know they only do a few shows a year at this point, but I will always try to show up when they do. If you have never seen one of their performances live, you are missing out!

  • Amazing Concert and Band!!!

One of the best concerts you’ll ever attend! High energy, great vocals and local band.

  • That show was fantastic!

by PTMFUS on 8/21/23Rating: 5 out of 5

As always the Urge does not disappoint. Steve and the guys play at 11 all the time. Probably my favorite performance of Closer ever.

  • Energetic!

The Urge is a great live band. They come out super hyped up & get the crowd involved in their show. Sound great!

The Urge along with the Funky Butt Brass Band was an outstanding concert. Steve Ewing has more energy than 2 people half his age!! PTMFUS!!

  • Mediocre

by Rachael on 11/28/22The Pageant - St LouisRating: 3 out of 5

The FBBB could have played longer, and shorted the 30min break between groups. The Urge put in a good show, but the venue was over crowded. It was hot and there was absolutely nowhere to stand where we could see. Also, the boat check wasn't open, so people were left holding winter coats in the crowd. I would have preferred to pay more for my ticket and be able to move around and see the show.

One of the most high energy concerts I've been to. Loved the vibe of the whole venue.

  • Excellent staff and amazing performance!

by pw7h8ow4kzm6@opayq.com on 8/20/21Saint Louis Music Park - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

We have health problems. the staff was very accommodating and the event was clean, and laid out well. Excellent sound for the most part. The bass was a bit too distorted on the low end; but nothing terrible. It really rattled the seats and the reverb made it sound worse than it should have. Also, the smoking section on the side basically makes the entire astroturf lawn a smoking area even though people arent allowed to smoke everywhere on the "lawn". There's still plenty of smokers along the side to make the entire area pretty noxious with smoke. Overall, we were skeptical of the new venue; but we will be attending again. Kudos to the staff and to Cory and Russell for being a huge blessing for us and our health issues!

  • What an incredible show!

by J. D. on 8/19/21Saint Louis Music Park - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

The Urge put on an amazing show. Everyone needs to see them live. Two hours of high-energy ear candy. The sound was so clean and loud. It rocked my bones! I will definitely see them the next time they come through. PTMFUS!!!!! I absolutely loved the new music park! The sound was amazing. The view from my seats was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'm in a wheelchair and I was very pleased with the accessible seating and view. I wish I could remember the name of the security man that went above and beyond making sure I had a good time. He offered me ear protection and even brought me a water a couple of times. I will definitely return and recommend this place to all.

  • Better than i expected

by H. F. on 8/17/21Saint Louis Music Park - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

purchased four ticket for the urge concert and after entering the venue found that the row that the tickets and been purchased in didn't exist. Spoke to a wonderful woman that was working that that section and made everything perfect for the four of us. Set us up in a center section and access to a vip area that had seating to relax and food at zero charge, also no lines for drinks or the rest room.... She didn't waste any time to get things taken care of and showed us to the seats and gave us wrist bands for the vip area. wonderful concert and that type of experience made it wonderful and more than i expected. great venue, easy to park, access in and out. Had a blast and the Urge rocked. good day

  • And the urge kicked ass as usual.

by Adsatellite1 on 8/17/21Saint Louis Music Park - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

And the urge kicked ass as usual. That’s OK the venue was nice but they just need to add some big ass fans like Riverport has to get some airflow under that canopy it was a little warm and it was not even a hot night.

  • Bands were awesome but...

by Tberg80 on 8/17/21Saint Louis Music Park - Maryland HeightsRating: 4 out of 5

This was my first show at the new St Louis Music park and upon arrival, I was very impressed. Parking was quick and easy, and the outside events were pretty cool. I went in to find my seats and felt that they missed the mark a little here. The views of the stage were good, probably not a bad seat in the house. The seats were pretty small and there was not much legroom. Once the bands started you could tell the sound quality was going to be an issue. All of the Bass reflecting off the metal base of the seating area really took away from the experience. This is a shame because the Urge brought a great performance and had such high energy but all the horns and drums bouncing off the seating took away from what would have been a great show.

  • Bands were great, venue needs improving

by D on 8/17/21Saint Louis Music Park - Maryland HeightsRating: 4 out of 5

Loved the bands. New venue is almost good but metal risers and tiny, hard, non-folding seats in 100s sections are terrible. Uncomfortable but worse is intense & loud buzzing vibrations in the metal from the bass. Noise from vibrating risers often louder than/interferes with sound from the music & can be felt intensely through whole body. Distracting and terrible! Needs to be fixed!

  • Upgraded to VIP

by Thank you Nancy! on 8/17/21Saint Louis Music Park - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the relaxed atmosphere, can hang out in your seat or hang out and throw bags behind the amphitheatre. We were fortunate to be upgraded to VIP treatment for free and the Urge rocked the house as usual!
