About

Where laughter flows like ale! For all ages 8 to 80. After SOLD OUT engagements in Pittsburgh, New York, and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, THE TWENTY-SIDED TAVERN brings the newest interactive theatrical experience to the Broadway Playhouse. "A sure-fire hit," says the British Comedy Guide. Geek Native declares, "Four stars of fun!" and Theatre Weekly calls it "Hugely Entertaining...guaranteed a good time." BroadwayWorld raved "Five stars! This show has it all! Utterly excellent and brilliantly put together." It's the most fun you will have in the theatre this year!

Embark on a journey that might involve dungeons, might involve dragons, and is guaranteed to be unlike anything you've ever experienced. It's a unique, two-hour adventure that's never the same quest twice. Dive into this raucous comedic explosion full of riddles, puzzles, combat and more -- the story's in your hands and YOU must decide our heroes' fate. Laugh along and choose between over thirty playable characters as they explore dozens of different rooms and race toward an incredible, one-of-a-kind ending based on your actions and decisions. At THE TWENTY-SIDED TAVERN, you are not merely an audience member; you are an adventurer ready to change the fate of the world around you, and the story will never be the same again.

"The reigning expert on bringing the role-playing experience to the stage." - Neil Patrick Harris

Get out what you put in

An extremely fun show that involves more crowd participation than I thought. We laughed through most of the show and the dynamics for audience interaction were seamless. I would recommend this show for anyone and for any age, but if you have young children I would stick to the matinee show.

Had a lot of fun at the twenty sided tavern. This was something different and interactive. Actors were hilarious (“Meow”- Maddie), I am looking to go again!

    Silly fun

by Farwalker on 11/6/22Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Don't go to this play for angst or plot. It's fun to root for the characters, sort of hoping for a dice roll of one, watching them play off each other. The small theatre is nice and it allows for audience participation. I liked voting. We went to Sunda for dinner, expensive but nice and ghiradelli for desert.

    Amazing show!

by Sabrina D on 11/2/22Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

This show was absolutely FANTASTIC. IT was so cool, the audience participation was so much fun! The drinks they had to take when rolling 1s or 20s was hilarious, especially when the game guide guy rolled multiple ones. An overall great experience!

Fun, interactive experience for people with or without gamer background. Really liked the mix of online and traditional audience participation.

Simply put, 20 Sided Tavern is an amazing show that I have been telling all of my friends about. You could see it three more times and it would be a different experience each time. Go see this show!

    Not my type of show

by SPR on 10/31/22Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Watch others roll dice and play average but predetermined D & D game that lacked interesting plot.
