Great concert the four tops and temptations were at their best. It brought back lots of memories. It was great being able to see and hear the remaining living legend of the four tops and the temptations they still have it. Great song choices and great voices.
The show was remarkable. Since I was up front I felt as if they were singing to me.
Awesome! Made you get out of your seat to sing and dance. The music was excellent. Brought back memories.
It was great to hear the music but the singing was not so great. The vocals were mixed way too loud really defeating the orchestra they had performing. When they sang "I believe in you and me" I wanted to cry it was so bad. They killed a great song :0(
I know that the casts have changed, and there is no replacing an original group. But The Temptations and Four Tops of today, each having one original member to keep it real, are very entertaining. They performed the timeless music very professionally, passionately and with amazing talent and range. It felt good to be able to kick it, old-school, like I did in my youth, and I thank them for that!
Beautiful theatre and great music! The Temptations were EXPLOSIVE and had us on our feet (and even dancing in the aisle!). Excellent voices (even the "newcomers" sounded like the real deal). The Four Tops were good, but spent WAY too much time on the "tribute" section of their concert; a bittersweet remembrance of the 3 Tops that have passed...singing low-energy songs that the Tops never sang when they were together. The tribute was in the middle of the set, and it felt like work to get the energy back up again. No wonder all the Temptations paraphernalia was sold out!
It was WONDERFUL!! One of the best ways to ring in the new year!
Show was unbelievable they played for over 3 hours . Did hour of four tops songs hour of temptations songs and then together . 1 of the best shows I've ever seen . Unbelievable once in a lifetime experience, sound and seats were great and they didn't miss a beat .
The show was Sensational. The Temps had it going on. I love Four Tops too. Sorry unable to see Motown. Would recommend this show to friends. Love it, Love it, LOVE IT.
Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Who would believe these groups are still carrying on the Temptations/Four Tops legacy.
Both the Four Tops and the Temptations put on a great show throughout the evening. They danced, sang, and performed for four hours straight and were the consummate entertainers. I would highly recommend this show to everyone!
If you are a Motown music fan, you died and went to heaven! The Tops sound was as good as the originals. The Temps stage show brings everything they have.
It was a thrill to be able to see to see the legacy of two foundational groups live and in person. We were fortunate to see one original member in each group. A thrill of a lifetime. The energy and interactivity of the show encompassed all that were there! So great to see the classic and legendary moves come to life before our eyes!
I loved the show but I was very disappointed that I paid $500.00 for the show and saw that they are playing at Westbury Music Fair for 1/4 of the price. Very disappointed that there is such a difference.
The both groups put on a wonderful show even though only one member in each group is an original. Brought back wonderful memories!! Wish today's music was half as good as it was when these two groups were making their music!!!!!
My sister and I attended the show mainly out of nostalgia and a yearning to hear the old tunes. Of course, we were sad to see that many of the original members are no longer alive, but we were mainly disappointed by the lineup of songs which were mostly from the early 70s instead of the 60s -- and some of the songs i.e. My/Our Way and Mack the Knife, which aren't even the groups' songs, were perplexing and frustrating additions to the repertoire. Additionally, given the age and physical limitations of the singers, the dance moves have lost their luster, which the producers tried to offset with flashing duds and lighting. It might have been a nice nostalgic touch to include backdrop footage of the groups' performances back in the 60s, especially during the monologues by the two surviving members. As for the poorly staged 'battle of the groups' at the opening of the show -- which was muddled and confusing -- the Temps won that fight hands-down. Their sound was polished, tight, and close to the original. They got us on our feet. In sum, the show left a lot to be desired and certainly was not worth the $300 I paid for the two tickets. I would not encourage a revival of the show. Better off watching YouTube clips of the old Temps and Four Tops -- a far more satisfying experience.
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS SHOW. MOMMY ENJOYED HERSELF .I would definitely go see that show again
I got the tickets for my mom for Christmas. She had a great time and I had just as much fun. Everyone was having a great time and both groups got the audience involved. It was just fabulous!
Enjoyable show! The groups tried hard to resemble the original groups.
