    Whoa, the noise

by Scrappin on 1/30/24Mohegan Sun Earth Expo & Convention Center - Uncasville

The preview was awesome. Lots of space with great food and drink options. The grande tasting wasn’t much different but with more people and some more well known chef presentations. The celebrity dine around was a deafening DJ in which you couldn’t hear your partner, other guests, or even the chefs describing the food and drink. I was told by an organizer that this was the plan. I learned later that the sound was reduced after several complaints (I had already left). The organizers should. (Hopefully) clarify their fine dining planned experience for future experiences The casino was welcoming and the rooms were very nice. The valet service was fantastic even at the busiest of times.

    Not a Winefest

by Seth on 1/30/24Mohegan Sun Earth Expo & Convention Center - Uncasville

This event was unfortunately a shadow of its former self and calling it a Winefest is a stretch. There were more spirits/beer booths than there were wine booths. In the past, there were dozens of wine booths and the vendors were interested in their products, took the time to describe them and help you find what you were looking for in their offerings. This year, most couldn't be bothered to do much more than pour you a glass and at times were more interested in talking to each other than anything else. If you're looking for a real wine fest, save your money, this isn't it

    SORRY..... i DIDN'T HEAR YOU!!!!!!

by Claude on 1/30/24Mohegan Sun Uncas Ballroom - Uncasville

WHY THE DEAFENING MUSIC!!! The chefs and food are definitely worth the price, so I come every year. The chefs are generous, gracious and excited to meet their fans and discuss food, pairings, trends, etc. WHY is there such DEAFENING music? How can we chat with chefs and guests? Chef Robert Irvine had his hands over his ears! I was forced to TEXT the people sitting near me at the table, to discuss the food! It's a FOOD event, NOT a dance party. People wore earplugs and left early. Tone it down, dance outside the ballroom or turn up the music at the end. This is becoming a deal breaker. It's a FOOD and WINE event, Mohegan!!

    Excellent experience

by Ange on 1/30/24Mohegan Sun Earth Expo & Convention Center - Uncasville

This event was very well organized and had tons of different wine and food selections. The cooking presentation and the chefs attending the event were very friendly and talented. I'd highly recommend this event and I'm looking forward to attend next year.

Huge price increase with no apparent additions

by Dave on 1/30/24Mohegan Sun Uncas Ballroom - Uncasville

Was disappointed by the almost 30% price increase to $300 and the event being the same. It is a great time but the main celeb, Bryan Cranston was nowhere to be found and there for only minutes supposedly. Would feel much better about spending the money if the event proceeds went to Juvenile Diabetes like it did when it first started and there was a live band.

    Not great

by Not much wine for a wine fest on 1/30/24Mohegan Sun Earth Expo & Convention Center - Uncasville

To much whiskey, bourbons, cocktails and beers. Not much wine

Not as good as the 2023 event

by Parry on 1/30/24Mohegan Sun Earth Expo & Convention Center - Uncasville

We attended last year 2023 and we thought it was amazing and well worth the $150- pp charge. This year it seems about 1/2 the size of the one last year. The next biggest change were the amount of “batch drinks ” only samples .. that was new this year and displayed much differently.

    Jesse, We Need to Drink

by Seli on 1/30/24novelle at Mohegan Sun - Uncasville

It was okay to be honest. We were really excited to see Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul live, and the venue was nice. That being said, they were an hour late and didn’t even spend an hour out in the bar with everyone. People were crowding the bar so I couldn’t really see Bryan and Aaron either (I’m on the shorter side). I didn’t get a chance to try the mezcal, but my partner did and he really liked it. The banter between Bryan and Aaron was hilarious as well. Overall, I think there was room for improvement, but I’m glad I got to attend the event.

    Not worth the price

by Josh on 1/30/24Mohegan Sun Earth Expo & Convention Center - Uncasville

It has been a couple of years since I've been but I was disappointed with the lack of wine. The event was more of a beer and liquor fest.

    Excellent Value for Wonderful Experience

Everything was excellent, from samples of alcohol to celebrity chef dishes. Definitely will be back again. Even with general admission tickets, we felt like VIPs

    Best Year Yet

by S. P. on 2/1/23Mohegan Sun Earth Expo & Convention Center - Uncasville

I am thrilled that they have begun to include food tastings in the ticket price. The wines were excellent, as was the food. I also enjoyed the cooking demonstrations. The layout was excellent, with the beers, the wines, and the liquors all in one room. Will definitely return.

    Lots of fun

by Anniepooh on 2/1/23Mohegan Sun Earth Expo & Convention Center - Uncasville

This event was great by starting off with giving a stemless wine glass. Then someone offered to take an instant Polaroid picture. There was an amazing amount of different liquors and wine to try. The cooking demonstrations were quite amusing and fun to watch. All servers were friendly and nothing but great vibes from everyone. The only thing that I didn’t really like is the lack of food samples and food being sold. There wasn’t nearly enough compared to alcohol. But overall I’d definitely recommend this event.

    Over priced

by Al on 2/1/23Mohegan Sun Earth Expo & Convention Center - Uncasville

Event was disappointing and over priced. Not sure how they can call it a food fest when the food given was not even bite-size pieces. How is giving 6 pieces of penne appropriate for a food fest??

    A little disappointing

by KS on 1/31/23Mohegan Sun Earth Ballroom - Uncasville

Went to the whisky and burger event Friday and there was only 2 types of burgers and they were both at the same table so the line was super long. Another table had ribs which they ran out of an hour into the event. The ticket was too pricey for what you got for it. The Saturday grand tasting had a great selection of wine but they increased the price this year to include free small bites. But that’s literally what they were, one small bite. And they ran out of most of them 2.5 hours into the event. So again, way to expensive for what you got.

    My experience

by Todd on 1/31/23Mohegan Sun Earth Expo & Convention Center - Uncasville

The food……very misleading. If you want sample portions smaller than you could get at Costco this is the event for you. It was a pretty embarrassing showing when it came to the food very disorganized and minimal.

    Mediocre event

by Unhappy Smurf on 1/31/23Mohegan Sun Earth Expo & Convention Center - Uncasville

Not happy with waiting in long lines to get in well after event started. Not happy that there were no small bites left, that were included in the ticket price early on in the event. Seems like poor planning, even though event organizers were aware of the number of tickets sold.

    It was ok..

by E. M. on 1/31/23Mohegan Sun Earth Expo & Convention Center - Uncasville

First, I bought a designated driver pass. One coffee display and 2 juice displays..no soda station etc..the food booths were all crowded together causing a cluster in the rear corner..awful set up. The food itself was bitesize morsels, kid of a joke for standing in line for 15 minutes per line. There was a couple of food vendors which were good but you had to come out of pocket for unfortunately...for a designated driver pass it was absolutely not worth $$ Felt like I got my pants pulled down... Everyone else I went with enjoyed it...Good energy fun time... I would not spend $60.00 personally again..
