Loved all the songs I grew up with and also like how they haven't changed but stuck to their style of dancing and singing

Rating: 5 out of 5 Classic old school at its finest!
by Dodes11 on 12/31/13Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - HonoluluAlways a class act! Loved how the group interacted with the audience and made it an intimate experience. Their encore was unique. They took off their jackets, donned kukui nut leis, sat on stools as if they were sitting on a porch in Philly and sang another half a dozen songs with us. Truly felt like they entered our home for an impromptu jam session. I've seen them each year for the past few years and each time they make it special.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Great Concert!

Rating: 5 out of 5 THE STYLISTICS, INTRUDERS & MUCH MORE
by FUNSTUFF57 on 12/2/13Scottish Rite Auditorium - CollingswoodWords cannot describe the quality of this show from the comedians to the opening group to Harold Melvin's main man..........it truly was a "Nite in Heaven"!!!! The Stylistics and Intruders are of a class of the highest caliber!! My first time at Scottish Rite and it couldn't have been smoother, warmer or more inviting!!!! YOU ALL ROCK :-)
Rating: 5 out of 5by Vilari on 11/28/13Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood The Intruders were even better than I expected and Russell Thompkins Jr. was unbelieveable as usually. Lead singer for Harold Melvin and Blue notes (?) would have been better but music kept screwing up. Still has a really good voice.
Rating: 5 out of 5 The Intruders and New Stylistics
by Oldhead64 on 11/27/13Scottish Rite Auditorium - CollingswoodThe show was fantastic. All of the entertainers were great. The new group, DejaBlue was awesome.
Rating: 5 out of 5 RUSSELL THOMPKINS, JR. AND THE NEW STYLISTICS
by CEEO on 11/26/13Scottish Rite Auditorium - CollingswoodRUSSELL THOMPKINS, Jr. and THE NEW STYLISTICS ARE DEFINITELY THE REAL DEAL. NO ONE CAN SING THE STYLISTICS SONGS LIKE THEIR ORIGINAL LEAD, "RUSSELL THOMPKINS, Jr.. THE OTHER SINGERS, COMEDIANS WERE GOOD ALSO. BIG DADDY OF HAROLD MELVIN'S BLUENOTES WAS GOOD, THE INTRUDERS LEAD A LOT OF SONGS VERY WELL INCLUDING THE INTRUDER'S SONGS. WE REALLY ENJOYED THE SHOW.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Russell Thompkins Jr. killed !
by SonDan on 10/1/13Warner Theatre - WashingtonHis falsetto aged like fine wine and who knew he could cut a rug (LOL) The show opened with DC's Dynamic Superiors. Also on the bill were: Ray, Goodman and Brown, The Chi-Lites and the Intruders. These groups were in super fine voice but unfortunately all did not have a band behind them -- just backing tracks. But all of the gents sang their hearts out.! Russel Thompkins Jr. and The New Stylistics DID have a band though and truly deserved to be the headliners! Russell pretty much sang everything from 1969's "You're a Big Girl Now" up through his Seventies songs from the Stylistics LPs I have owned and cherished since High School. His voice was amazing. It never wavered. I will see him again if I have the chance. .
Rating: 5 out of 5 Russell Thompkins & The New Stylistics rocked!
by Anonymous on 10/1/13Warner Theatre - WashingtonThe show was amazing from the opening group until the last song!

by 16Forever on 7/20/13Greek Theatre - Los AngelesJust went back in time with my high school sweetheart, it was the best time ever!
Rating: 3 out of 5 Less acts more songs needed
by MrsKBE on 7/20/13Greek Theatre - Los AngelesThe 2 song maximum per act sucked. Started a half hour early so we missed the first act and half of second act. MC spent too much time talking and bragging on his family when the time could have been spent on the singers but we made the best of it. More of a review than a concert with few original singers in each group
Rating: 2 out of 5 Felt like a very long plane ride.
by luvinstucty on 7/19/13Greek Theatre - Los AngelesThe concert itself felt hastily put together with every group doing rushed 20 minute sets. The host kept name dropping and reminding everyone he was Cuba Goodings father.

Rating: 5 out of 5 The best experience I have had in a very long time
by BOBOYIP on 7/18/13Greek Theatre - Los AngelesI have been trying to attend a soul jam concert for a few years now and this year I finally made it. From the moment Barbara Lewis stepped on the state till the Stylistics ended the concert I was singing and dancing along with all of the groups. The memories that flooded back into my heart and soul were simply exquisite...I vow to attend every year as I want to support the groups that were there FOR ME as a young girl living in Oakland, CA. A big thank you to all of the groups for being there with your magical loving songs and for allowing us for a moment once a year to feel that again.
