The Stretch at Saratoga Tickets

Comfortable seats with fun people, great view and terrific service.

So if you can reserve a BOX complete with seating & betting technology I would highly recommend the venue complete with its own private betting windows & better than average food but apparently the BOXES seem to be reserved ANNUALLY by individuals & corporations. For some strange reason none of the staff was clear about the BOX SEATING. If no BOX available I would suggest FOURSTARDAVE !

Can't say enough good about The Stretch at Saratoga racecourse! I've eaten at all of the available dining areas at Saratoga and I am surprised to say this is my favorite! While dining at the finish line is more "posh," in a way, the food is totally sub par and overpriced. At The Stretch, every table has a brand new tv and big screens. There are tables and bar seating along with standing at the bar. The bar is fully stocked and the bartenders are the best! Wait staff is above average and definitely more on it than the other dining areas at the racecourse. The burgers with Saratoga Chips had excellent reviews and they lived up to expectations! Freshly grilled and delicious! Prices are totally reasonable, betting is available in this private area, which also has it's own bathrooms (no lines). As I said in the beginning, can't say enough good about The Stretch!

It offers everything I had hope it would! Very spacious seating at the bar. No lines and great service from the staff! Being able to watch TV on your tablet is a plus! Was able to watch final round of PGA and enjoy the races! A+

Our family of 6 was so looking forward to checking out this new racetrack venue but was so disappointed! Only 1/2 the seats here are nice, so be careful where your reserving within venue bc once you’re there, they will not let you switch your seats (even though they have seats available). Many seats are in direct sun (bleacher style seating). When I explained that my 90 year old father and 82 year old mother couldn’t sit in direct sun all day, they shrugged their shoulders & said if I want different seats, I’d have to pay for them (in addition to the $260. I had already paid for the seats I would no longer be using). We took the $260. loss and went into the clubhouse. WAY better seating. Spent our usual $1,200., but was much happier than we could have been at Stretch. Stretch has 10 employees standing around but can’t do anything to accommodate guests. Poor management, maybe they’ll work out kinks but I am not hopeful based on shoulder shrugs and blank faces when you have a request as simple as “can we move out of the sun”.

Finally a modern space at Saratoga that is comfortable and still makes you feel like you're at the old track. Modern amenities includes plenty of HDTV's, comfortable seats and upgraded food options. While this area hasn't yet caught on and it lacks a lot of energy, eventually it will be the cool spot to hang out.

Aside from the bardenter pretending to fill my glass with vodka until I turned to look at him, the stretch was amazing. Very friendly staff (minus the bartender), very personable. It was raining outside and they still made it feel like our time at the races was a special event. They found out it was one of our birthdays and came out singing with a cheescake!

The Stretch is terrific - a GREAT use of the space. You can reserve upscale seats, a mini-table, a small sectional, a bar stool, a large table, or standing room with bar tables. Excellent Wait Staff, good food at reasonable prices, nice drinks menu. The space has its own betting windows, bathrooms and bar. Great view of the races from the far turn to the 3/16 pole, where all the running is done. A terrific addition to Saratoga.

Having attended Saratoga race meets numerous times, I had never received tickets for the Stretch area of the grandstand. This year I only had one day to attend while in the past I bought tickets for the entire week. The Stretch Area is great if you have a booth/table seating which I was unaware was available and may not have been for one day. But if you do not have a booth, you might as well just do general admission because your seats are in the sun and are not under the overhang to protect from rain. Very disappointed in seating, but staff in the area were very good. Had my wife not found a table in the back of the grandstand, I would have been fried by the sun and then drowned by severe rain storm. Guess I missed something in ordering tickets. Tickets very expensive for what I got. Add the cost of flying from Georgia with my wife and taking my daughter in law who had never been to Saratoga, I was not pleased. At least I won money on the horses.

My friend and I love The Stretch and want to only have seats there when going to The Track.

Make an annual pilgrimage to the Track and have to say this was my favorite experience. The food and drink are a bit pricey but, what you would expect in such a nice setting. The site lines are great for watching the horses coming down the stretch. Will be going back!

The seats in the first rows of sections V and X are really tough in the sun, there's no cover. Would not recommend unless you want to sit and bake. We did not so went to other areas of the grandstand. Know other people who complained and left as well. Bathrooms were a huge improvement from others in the grandstand! That's why it didn't get just one star. Might try again with seats further back so in shade.

Overall we enjoyed our experience. It would have been helpful to know which seats are covered and which ones are not. Food service was ok, very prompt when we first arrived but as the crowd grew, it took longer and longer for service (we had to flag down our server twice). Also delivery of ordered items slowed significantly with increase in crowds, it took 25 minutes (and twice asking for follow up) to get a soda. And at the time of this incident, the area wasn’t completely full.

My buddy and I very much enjoyed our FIRST trip to the Stretch.The facility was very impressive and the employees were most helpful. The entire place was beautiful and the seating was very comfortable.We will be back again soon. m
