The Spongebob Musical (Chicago) Tickets

Great play a lot of fun. Excellent performances. The kids enjoyed the interactive portions The tap dancing performance by squidward was one of the better dance performances I've seen in a show.

I saw 3 shows while on vacation in Chicago this weekend. Surprisingly, The SpongeBob Musical was far and away the best of the three. The other 2 shows boasted of Tony Awards and Tony Awards winners but came nowhere close to delivering the theatrical magic that I experienced at this show. If Ethan Slater (SpongeBob) and Gavin Lee (Squidward) are not nominated for Tony's, I will be very surprised and disappointed.

I took my daughter for her bday, and was going along for the ride. This production far exceeded my expectations. Many styles of dance and musical genres were performed in a seamless, entertaining fashion. The talent was unbelievable/-true Broadway style. Not to mention, it was very funny, clever and heartwarming. Sqidward was hilarious! My fav character. The only bad part was when it ended. Want to see again! Oriental is a wonderful house for a show.

My son and I purchase last minute tickets, they where so worth it!! The spongebob musical was so entertaining and the actors are so talented, they did an amazing Job..I highly recomend this musical you won't regreted..Also this is not just for kids..its for adults.

I had no idea what to expect and am not a big fan of SpongeBob, but thought it would be fun to take our kids. It turned out to be one of the best live performances I've ever seen! The costumes, the story line, the actors, the stage--everything was so well done. My kids loved it and so did I. There was never a point where my six year old wanted to leave, and he usually does get bored at things like movies. They were enthralled the entire time, as were the adults.

The theatre is transformed into a world that is both ingenious and fun. For all those parents of children who love SpongeBob this show is ideal! The cast is amazing and the vocals are out of this world. We enjoyed it! The costumes were right on and the lighting was excellent !

I would highly recommend this musical for the family. Such a great group of actors/actresses. The music was fun and entertaining.

My 10 year old niece said these characters were spot on! The talent of the show is amazing. We laughed and clapped all evening. Music was fantastic as well.

Unique and thoroughly original musical! The mix of various songwriters worked well for this show. Gavin Lee was a true stand out!

I don't care for SpongeBob the cartoon, but the musical was fabulous. Loved the music by the different artists, especially John Legend

We enjoyed the show a lot. Our Grandson really enjoyed watching it. It is one of their favorite things to watch when they stay at our house.

To say it was so much more than I anticipated is an understatement. Thought it was phenomenal. A new play for children that will delight the whole family. So colorful, so fun, my grandsons 9,8,5 were thrilled as was I, kudos to all involved

Clever, acrobatic, brings in all different styles of dancing, quality singing and most of all funny.

I was in Chicago accompanying my husband on a business trip and had a free afternoon, so I decided to take in a show. I had my reservations when I saw SpongeBob on the schedule, but since I am well- versed in the SpongeBob universe thanks to my 3 (now grown) children I decided to give it a chance. I'm so glad I did because I couldn't wipe the smile off my face from beginning to end. Great music, singers and dancers. Give it a try while it's still in Chicago!

Absolutely loved The Spongebob Musical. I'm a 27 year old woman who grew up on Spongebob. This musical had me smiling from ear to ear and laughing the entire way through. What a spectacular show! I can't imagine how much fun the kids were having at this one. Definitely find time to go to this one!

Every aspect of Spongebob Musical was amazing. Director, Actors, Costumes, Scenery, Music, Opening and Closing. I have never been so entertained. My boyfriend can't stop talking about it.

Storyline was perfect - engaging, entertaining, music fantastic, flow of show perfect! We took our two kids ages 7 and 11 and they loved it! They totally understood the storyline message - positivity and being optimistic :)

Wow, this show surprised all of us. We bought tickets for our 13 year old who has loved spongebob for a long time. We were nervous i might be too young for him when it started but then by the 3rd song we were all laughing and smiling. It is Spongebob in true fashion! There are lots of details to the show visually and mechanically... and in the performance! Love it. There were not a lot of people there on Friday night night, which was sad because it was really worth every penny.

My oldest son had been bugging me to take him to see SB the Musical, which I wasn't really too excited to see. My kids have watched Spongebob but I have never honestly been a fan of the cartoon. Well, I decided to take all my boys since one of the dates fell on my youngest sons birthday. I even dragged my mom along with us (she LOVED it!). When we walked in, we were offered a complimentary upgrade so we ended up on the main floor. Our seats were way better than the ones I originally purchased. When we walked into the theater and saw the set, we immediately were in awe! The set was incredible!!! Once the musical started we sat mesmerized by the costumes, set design music and performances of the actors. The music and story line kept us entertained and before we knew it, it was over and left us wanting it to go on longer!!! Not one detail was left out ~ it was a lot of fun and I wouldn't mind seeing it again!!! I definitely recommend seeing this show for any family!!! We tried to get a little beach ball souvenir for my son's birthday but weren't able to... oh well ~ maybe next time ;)

Was very good. Better than what I was expecting. Definitely seeing it again.
