I really set expectations high. The outside graphics are spectacular and that lead me to believe what was inside was the good stuff. Color me disappointed, there were a few WOW moments but nothing worth what we paid. If you’ve done the Fly across America or even the VR experience (like the ones at the malls) with the goggles, those were richer experiences. The message of the film wasn’t my cup of tea either… it was a people destroyed the planet so they had to leave so it could repair itself?! What if Lucas had a canvas like this? Original Star Wars in this venue… count me in.
Fantastic show, definitely worth. Only little issue: the long waiting line before gates open. But I guess it is technically difficult to do better with so many spectators
Postcard from Earth is beautiful visually, but filled with a godless narration that claims humans evolved and destroyed mother earth. The End. Such a waste of money.
This experience went above and beyond all of my expectations. I wasn't to sure what exactly I was getting into but I was super glad I did it. I'll be going every time I am in Vegas from now on. I can't wait to be back.
I very much enjoyed it, but the ticket prices are steep, the lines are long, and you should allow more time to see the robots. We only had time to visit with two of them. I also think you should explain clearly on your website and on the tickets that backpacks are not allowed and that if you get into certain lines outside, you will have to climb a steep flight of stairs.
When we arrived it was not very clear which way they would like you to que to get in. The doors do not open until exactly the time so we booked the 4:30. The first part of the experience needs a bit more adding to it as it was so crowded that it was not easy to hear or move. The main part of the experience was outstanding the story was so intriguing, it kept you captivated all the way through.
Postcard from Earth starts off strong with incredible visuals, sound, and other effects for the first 40-45min. But fizzles in the last 5-10min due to an incredibly lame ending. You could hear the collective eye roll from the audience. The Sphere is jaw-dropping from a technology and engineering point of view and delivers a breathtaking experience. Be warned, vertigo in the 300 and 400 sections can be a little overwhelming, and some parts of the film induce a mild sense of motion sickness. These feelings are well worth it for the overall experience of the Sphere's 4D film/video experience. The pre-show interactive experience is lamer than the ending of Postcard from Earth and can be skipped altogether. Some of the money wasted on the mindbogglingly massive car park around the Sphere would have been better invested in making the pre-show interactive experience more interesting. All in all, at about $200 per ticket, it is very expensive for what it is. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it.
While all was pretty good for the most part my main complaints come from the lackluster experience with the Directors Package.
This should be on everyone’s Vegas Bucketlist. Great experience. Technically fantastic.
