    Show great, facility worrisome

by Heyoo on 10/20/23Sphere - Las Vegas

The show was beautiful and inspiring my problem is the organization of the building. Getting into the venue was crazy, massive unorganized lines/no bathrooms, and overwhelming. Only one set of escalators for thousands of people to exit on is scary too, if there was an emergency of some kind people would get trampled. Do not take anyone with mobility problems as the steps are incredibly steep. Timed entry or exits might help but Sphere needs to figure out it’s crowd control issues before I’d be comfortable going back.

    Another one off the list

by Ade on 10/20/23Sphere - Las Vegas

A wonderful audio and visual experience that anyone visiting Las Vegas should consider. Would love to see a live act here in the future.

    A lot of hype

by MamaSB on 10/20/23Sphere - Las Vegas

Everyone asked us if we were going to The Sphere when we planned our LV trip. So we were like, we gotta see what the hype is about! First off, there are a lot of kinks to work out with the process if lining up to get in. Be prepared to wait in line for awhile. The time of the show on the ticket is misleading. Don't show up early! The actual show does not start for an hour after the time on the ticket. The atrium attractions will also be a long wait in line so we just skipped all if that. We got drinks that were $20 and $30 each. They were good but you will want to use the restroom before sitting because you aren't getting out if those seats ha! Also, if you are afraid of heights you might not want the 400-level seats because whoa, it's really high and steep. I had to hold on to people's hands as I walked to my seat and felt a little vertigo at first. The movie 'Postcards From Earth' was beautiful and the screen is amazing. The movie itself is meh - I'm not a sci-fi person and I don't believe in the theory of evolution so was a little off-put by that theme. When it was over, my husband and I looked at each other and just kind of laughed. Like, okay that interesting. I don't think we would do it again for the price.

Grossly overcrowded and overpriced. Save the money, go see an IMAX movie instead

Enjoyed the Show But Traffic Was Horrible

by Bill on 10/20/23Sphere - Las Vegas

Getting across Las Vegas Blvd on Spring Mountain into the Sphere parking took 30 minutes. It was so bad that the Tuesday night 7 PM show was delayed until 8. I will take the monorail next time. Postcard from Earth was fantastic. At first the screen looked like the one at the Fleet Science Center in San Diego. Then it exploded to fill the entire viewing area so you could only see the seats and the screen. The motion is smooth so when you went over the edge of a canyon you didn't feel like you were falling. The videography was stunning and the story engaging. The seat shakers were fun. You could really feel the footsteps of the elephants. The experience is only going to improve as more planned features are added. Concerts need to be specially choreographed to be worthwhile in the Sphere compared to a larger stadium. I am looking forward to seeing more shows like Postcard from Earth in the Sphere.

    Great venue,underwhelming content experience

by Alex on 10/20/23Sphere - Las Vegas

The "sphere"is awesome I can see where the money went. The tech in the seats is great but the size and comfortability of the seats you would expect in a stadium not here. The interactive robots and visuals again are great but (of course)the lines are.long and after.the show you are NOT allowed to see them since the have a battalion of security making sure you don't go anywhere near them not even close enough to take pictures. The show itself was visually awesome but not very entertaining and political narratives ooze throughout the show. I wanted to expirence the "sphere"and see what the halabalu was all about and I would be happy to visit again on the garuntee of something entertaining.

Unlike any movie experience. You feel like you’re in the movie. Exhilarating!

More Trouble than what it's worth

by Drydin on 10/20/23Sphere - Las Vegas

Complete hassle to get in and out of with F1 construction going on. Show was said to be two hours long but 1-Hour of that was just waiting around in atrium with nothing to do in a attempt to get you to buy WAY OVERPRICED concessions. When going to events like this I have attended many Raider games at Allegiant I am aware of overpriced concessions but this was just on another level. We asked for a double shot of Don Julio and was informed it would be $110 that is double what the entire bottle cost for 2-Shots!!! The actual show Postcards from Earth was visually impressive but rather boring and nonsensical. The best part of the experience was the observation deck where you can just watch the outside of Sphere and that part is Free.

    Outstanding Event!

by CraigC on 10/20/23Sphere - Las Vegas

U2 at Sphere is an amazing event. To describe it as a concert isn’t sufficient. The building is completely unique. The sound quality is unparalleled. The beauty of the screen and visuals is different than anything you’ve ever experienced before. Go see the show. You will NOT be disappointed.

    Overpriced

by Mari on 10/20/23Sphere - Las Vegas

The outside of the Sphere is amazing! The inside was a disappointment. I thought the show would be a 360 degree experience, instead it was just on a big screen. For $500+ I expected a truly phenomenal show. I went to the Fly Over show for $50.00 and thought it was similar. Needless to say, parking was ridiculous!

Mixed feelings about the sound quality

by Dieter on 10/20/23Sphere - Las Vegas

I went twice to sphere, once to the movie Postcard from Earth and once to a U2 concert. Both times I was seated in section 406. On the first visit (movie) everything was perfect, both sound and vision. On the second one (concert) however, the visuals were fantastic but the sound was distorted (and also too loud, maybe that was the reason?). That is of course a pity for a music concert when one expected the highest quality. Logistics (arriving and leaving) were well organised both times.

    Cool Technology - Bad Narrative

by Bakes on 10/20/23Sphere - Las Vegas

The experience "starts"at the time listed on your ticket when you get in the theater and 'wait' for nearly an hour for the actual movie to start. There's a couple of things to do, but its mostly waiting. Then the movie starts, while technologically it is really cool, you become accustomed to it after a couple of minutes and the narrative is inconsistent and gets old.

Sphere good. Movie begging good, last 1/3 boring. Parking unbelievable expensive.

    Underwhelming

by Vegaslocal on 10/20/23Sphere - Las Vegas

After all the hype a real disappointment. No notice that the movie doesn’t start until an hour after the stated time. I guess to wrangle one into buying a $20 cocktail or two. Parking is a disaster as is the in and out. The only thing to see are the robots. They are fun but take 5 minutes. Aranofsky’s movie is gorgeous and poignant but not worth $169 for 50 minutes. Add on $47.50 for parking and $50 for two cocktails and it is something I didn’t need to do.

    Less than Wonderful Experience

by Mike on 10/20/23Sphere - Las Vegas

We attended a Sunday afternoon session of The Sphere Experience. This was after seeing U2 the night before. The experience at the Sphere was night and day (no pun intended). On Sunday, we waited in line for an extended period to get in. Once we did, we waited again in line while they worked to get the escalators moving in the right direction. Once up the the lobby/atrium level (after 45 minutes in lines) we were informed we could go no further (we were in 300 level seats) and had to remain in the atrium to "experience"the AI display. After another 45 minutes we were finally able to take the escalators up. During that process, the attendants did nothing to manage the cue as people "crashed"the line to get upstairs. Finally, the show started at 3:30 (an hour after the published 2:30 show time). The show was good but quite frankly we saw better effects the night before at U2. This was certainly not worth the $350+ for two tickets.

    Amazing

by Mema on 10/20/23Sphere - Las Vegas

The show itself - Postcards from Earth was stunning. I think the info on the show should be clearer that when you have timed tickets, for example 4:30 - that is not when the show starts. For one hour you walk around the "experience"with what i guess you would call the "robots". There is food and drink available. With everyone arriving at 4:30 it gets a bit packed. The actual show doesn't start until 5:30 (or an hour after whatever ticket you purchased) So if you don't need food or drink 30 mins or less to see the robots would be plenty. We ended up sitting in our seats for almost 45 mins. We opted for the "cheaper"seats not knowing exactly what the difference would be and didn't feel as though we lost anything visually from seats that cost almost $100 more
