About

Direct from sell out tours of the UK & Europe The Simon & Garfunkel Story tells the fascinating tale of how two young boys from Queens, New York went on to become the world’s most successful music duo of all time. Starting from their humble beginnings as 50’s Rock n Roll duo Tom & Jerry, The Simon & Garfunkel Story takes you through all the songs and stories that shaped them, the dramatic split, their individual solo careers and ending with a stunning recreation of the legendary 1981 Central Park reunion concert.

Using a projection screen, the show features 1960s photographs and film footage accompanied by a full band performing all their hits including Mrs Robinson’, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Homeward Bound, Scarborough Fair, The Boxer, The Sound Of Silence and many more.

    Exciting show!

by JoJo on 3/12/24The Louisville Palace - Louisville

I wasn’t sure what to expect but not the least bit disappointed. The stars in the show even resembled Paul & Arlo. Harmony was incredible and the band didn’t miss a beat. Loved the backdrop with old films s this was history. A must see!!!

    Good Concert

by Snicky on 3/11/24The Louisville Palace - Louisville

Pretty good concert. Liked the story line and how it progressed. Actor playing Paul was good but actor playing Garfunkel was a much better singer. I don't know if this was how the real Paul and Garfunkel sang together. In fact, Garfunkel was actually great. I wasn't a big fan of the backup band. While I realize that they used a backup band, I thought the band was too strong on stage. I certainly didn't think having a drum solo or solo guitar lead was appropriate. They were very good but I didn't come to hear the band.

I was disappointed on how the story was presented. Mostly on the screen behind the band.

    Very enjoyable evening

by El on 3/11/24The Louisville Palace - Louisville

I thoroughly enjoyed this concert/show. I went with a couple of friends who were reliving their high school days and I was remembering my grade school days. The songs of Simon & Garfunkel are timeless. So glad I attended.

    Relive fond memories

by Cricket Ace93 on 3/11/24The Louisville Palace - Louisville

Great mix of story telling and music. The men who play Simon & Garfunkel not only had their sound down, but the characters mannerisms as well!

We really enjoyed the concert. The vocals were phenomenal, close your eyes and one would think Art and Paul were on the stage. Bravo

    Memory Lane

by Niko on 3/7/24Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

Very well done tribute to Simon and Garfunkel. Brought me back to the sixties when I was a teenager. I loved them then and I still love them now.. The videos were a good history lesson for the younger folk.. I learned a few things as well. Would go again if they came back to the Oakdale Theatre.

    Eyes closed

by Patty on 3/7/24Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

The music was great to hear but the bright yellow spotlights that were aimed at the audience were annoying. I had to watch much of the concert with my eyes shut because the lights hurt my eyes. This would be an easy fix— maybe aim the lights straight up.

Unless you are a diehard fan, don't bother

by Music Fan on 3/6/24Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

Ugh. I realize that it was a Simon and Garfunkel Story. However, a little less talk and a lot more action would have been better. I was bored out of my mind. The talked about their lives together and apart. They mentioned a lot of hits, but played very few. They made fun of the Beatles. What a waste of money.

    Great vocals

by CD on 3/6/24Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

The Simon & Garfunkel Story was a wonderful trip through their lives & music. The vocals were amazing! The only thing I did not enjoy were the spotlights turned towards the audience. These lights were very irritating & distracting. I think you should stick with the lights underneath the band as they added to the show & did not take away from it.

    Don't miss this show

by Beatlesfan on 3/6/24Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

As a Beatles fan I attended to please my wife. But this was one of the best concerts we have ever seen. In fact it was a combination of concert and trip down memory lane. The musical talent was amazing. The history was delivered with humor and respect that was never boring. Don't miss this show.

    Great show!

by Simone, CT on 3/6/24Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

Despite the rude elderly person who confronted my teen in a condescending manner in the bathroom, interrogating her as to why she was even at the show in such a rude manner, the actual show was very entertaining and fun. Being able to sing along to most of the songs WITH my teenager (who probably knew more of the words than the elderly 'bathroom' lady) was a great experience for us both to share. The venue was comfortable. The sound was clear. It was a perfect night once the show started. We are already looking forward to our next show together (planned in a few days)

    Good Vibe Night

by CW on 3/6/24Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

The show was uplifting and fun. The Oakdale Theater is a great venue. There's not a bad seat in the house and the sound is great! 1 issue. People entering the show after the show began were left to find their seats. One group of people walked up and down the aisle for several minutes trying to find their seats with cell phones and blocking the stage for others. People entering after the show starts should be escorted by a staff member and seated ASAP so other patrons can enjoy the show. Also - After purchasing my ticket on line my credit card was hacked and I had to get a new credit card. This has not happened to me in years. I would think Ticketmaster would have better cyber security.
