The Simon & Garfunkel Story
Since its sell-out in London's West End, The Simon & Garfunkel Story is now the World's leading theatre show concerning Simon & Garfunkel featuring a full live band and state of the art video projection and lighting. The show includes all of their hits, including Mrs. Robinson, Cecilia, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Homeward Bound and many more.
With more than 100 million album sales since 1965, Simon & Garfunkel's perfect harmonies and songs that poignantly captured the times made them one of the most successful folk-rock duos of all time. Over the years, they won 10 Grammy Awards and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. In 1977, their Bridge Over Troubled Water album was nominated at the 1977 Brit Awards for Best International Album. In 2003, Simon and Garfunkel were awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and the following year saw their The Sound of Silence awarded a Grammy Hall of Fame Award.

I really enjoyed the music! The singing was amazing! Beautiful voices!!! The background pictures weren't always as great. Most of them were about the songs and represented the history of my life. I think the pictures could have been better. But I enjoyed the play very much!
I wanted to sing along with them. I had to silently. Their harmonies were incredible.
I really enjoyed this show. It is told as a story, sequentially through history. The performers are excellent. I had a problem with the lighting. The band was elevated on stands that had strip type lighting. The light was so bright I could not look at the stage for more than a few seconds. I partially covered my eyes to block the strip lights so I could watch the show. My friends accompanying me also had trouble with the intensity of the lights.
Informative and entertaining from start to finish.
Didn't mind wearing a mask through the event, had front row seats in the balcony, the performers were just great, you felt like you were seeing the actual Simon & Garfunkel and I learned a lot about them that I didn't know before, great story đ .
Go see this show, great music and history of the duo.
Incredible voices and band brought my favorites to life.
A wonderful performance by the main musicians and the band. The visuals were stunning, too.
Was told with feelings and humor...their songs told the stories of growing up in a time of beginnings. This was so well done that it brought back both the joys and the hurts of those early years. They gave us no just words, but direction, and reason. This was very well done....thank you.
It was just like a concert! The music was good and the 2 guys where good! I have seen several of these type of shows in the past. This by far was the worst! I could have read a article and know more about this two guys! When showing pictures had no idea what they meant! They grow up together why not show these guys n there younger days and give explanations on photos. Was just a concert with a slide show! I really wonder if Simon and Gartfunkel had a impute on this show? Not worth the money. I guess I should have read the review!
Simon and Garfunkel was an amazing performance! Just like attending a live concert. The voices and band were outstanding and the screen in the background depicting the events was very moving and added a touch of nostalgia. Highly recommend!
They could have been the real Simon and Garfunkel they were so good and the band behind them were amazing. Videos captured the times they sang in and though the particulars may be different, there has always been struggle- in the nation, the world, within a person and between people. They sang poetically into those issues.
Great show, great talent. I would go to see this sow again.
Seats in Mezz-L should have been identified as obstructed view. Sight line to stage partially blocked by show-specific speaker stack suspended from ceiling at the sides of the stage opening. Could not see the audience left side of the stage and screen--very disappointed with the CIBC Theater (Chicago). Production was good, performers were very good in their roles. I found it interesting the Simon and Garfunkle performers referred to "themselves" in the third person throughout the show. The show spent a lot of time on their careers in the late sixties, but only glossed on the group's pinnacle in the mid-70s and into the 80s. Enjoyed it, but.... Maybe I was expecting too much.
Great show listening to songs I grew up with. Parking restaurant and theatre all in walking distance. It was wonderful.
Minimalistic yet brilliantly executed show. I love it! The song lineup was well thought of. I wish there was a little more movement on the stage. Overall very talented cast especially Art.
Everything about the show was fantastic! The music, their voices the background video.
No concessions. No water available thru entire 2.5 hours
The two artists depicting Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel were terrific - likewise the band behind them. Basically, these two actors speak as themselves when relating the history of the duo's career together dating from their childhood, and perform the work at a high level. BUT, there were some major issues with the guitar/sound links at the performance we attended, and it was disruptive - certainly for the artists, AND the audience as we waited for the technical glitches to be sorted out - in the middle of the performance... Felt sorry for the cast and band. We had a good time and appreciated the efforts of all on stage to give us that experience.
