About

Direct from sell out tours of the UK & Europe The Simon & Garfunkel Story tells the fascinating tale of how two young boys from Queens, New York went on to become the world’s most successful music duo of all time. Starting from their humble beginnings as 50’s Rock n Roll duo Tom & Jerry, The Simon & Garfunkel Story takes you through all the songs and stories that shaped them, the dramatic split, their individual solo careers and ending with a stunning recreation of the legendary 1981 Central Park reunion concert.

Using a projection screen, the show features 1960s photographs and film footage accompanied by a full band performing all their hits including Mrs Robinson’, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Homeward Bound, Scarborough Fair, The Boxer, The Sound Of Silence and many more.

“Simply incredible”- BBC Scotland

“Spine tingling harmonies”- The Daily Record

“The standing ovation at the end of this impressive show was a given as soon as the final note faded from the very first song” - Burnley Express

“The Simon & Garfunkel Story is a must see for anyone who is a fan of the musical masters”- Salisbury Journal

  • sweet nostalgia

by Bob on 3/8/25Pantages Theater - TacomaRating: 5 out of 5

the song selections were great, the harmonies spot on and the band really tight! We knew the songs and sang along , quietly, but it was the finally that got to me, Remembering a dear friend with whom I spent endless hours listening to S & G. Hurt so good! Loved the show.

  • Great memories

    by mcumm007 on 3/8/25Pantages Theater - TacomaRating: 5 out of 5

Outstanding concert/history experience. The leads had great authentic voices and even looked like Simon and Garfunkel. They played all the timeless hits mixed with the history of the pair as well as the country, with some humor.

  • Goosebumps more than once

    by Jenn P on 3/8/25Pantages Theater - TacomaRating: 5 out of 5

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect other than hearing songs by Simon & Garfunkel, who are lifelong favorites. What we saw was an incredibly talented duo who looked and sounded eerily close to the original artists. They, and a small band replicated all my favorites (plus some more obscure songs) down to the note while giving us some historical context for S&G’s rise to fame. Never having had an opportunity to see Simon & Garfunkel live in concert, this was a treat. Highly recommend- I will not soon forget this experience!

Very enjoyable! Sounded just like them! Should have played more nights in DC so we could recommend it to others!

  • Extremely Entertaining

by Chuck C on 2/8/25The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed the show, the history and the venue. It was an intimate experience and thoroughly entertaining evening.

  • Disappointing

by Disappointed on 2/8/25The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 2 out of 5

The performers, especially the one portraying Paul Simon, were poor representations of the title characters. In addition, the quality of the sound was poor.

  • Simon&GarfunkelStory

by SteveS on 2/8/25The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 3 out of 5

Music and voices were very good. Storytelling was just ok. Felt more like one of those famous band cover shows than a Broadway show. Enjoyed, but nothing to write home about.

  • Pretty good show.

    by Gmoney61 on 2/8/25The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 3 out of 5

The two performers who play Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel are pretty good, but neither voice is at the level of the originals, but that is a legitimately hard act to follow. The second half of their show was more entertaining probably because the music written by the duo in the later half of their collaboration was more complicated and interesting.

  • Totally exceeded our expectations!

by Happy Camper on 2/8/25The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Singers sounded amazingly like Simon and Garfunkel. Their appearances were even similar! 3 piece band was phenomenal, and screen showing current events of the 1960s, 1970s and beyond were powerful. Loved, loved, loved ❣️

  • FABULOUS

    by Mertzman1 on 2/8/25The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

For someone like myself who grew up and stimulated by the music genres of the 60s and early 70s, a Socially tumultuous decade, the Simon and Garfunkel Story and songs brought me back to my life and experiences of that time. S&G wrote and performed critically acclaimed music. An amazing performance, so simple and well done. Must see!

  • Don’t Miss This Show!!

by Mike on 2/8/25The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Great show at the National Theatre! If you are a Simon and Garfunkel fan…Don’t Miss This Show!!!

  • Not a fan

by Harhar on 2/8/25The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 3 out of 5

I realized I was only familiar with their most popular songs. I was unfamiliar with most of the songs. The two artists and the production were very good. I guess I’m not a true fan.

  • It's not a musical it's a cover band

by Rola on 2/8/25The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 2 out of 5

I was actually disappointed in the experience. I was hoping for more of a musical with a storyline. This felt like a cover band show.

We really enjoyed the musicians and history they presented. They had beautiful voices and it was fun to walk back in time and sing along to our favorites. Make it a relaxing evening out and go sit in on a show.

  • Excellent show!!

  • Amazing

by RR on 1/27/25Bridge View Center - OttumwaRating: 5 out of 5

Great production and those men's voices are sooo good. Did a great job of highlighting parts of the artist's lives and lesser known music, while still playing the hits we all wanted to hear. If you are a fan at all of S&G, this show is worth seeing.

  • Great night of entertainment.

by Bert on 6/7/24Peoria Civic Center - PeoriaRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely fabulous. They not only sounded like Simon and Garfunkel, they looked like then, the information was really interesting. Wonderful performance, I highly recommend.

  • songs after the intermission were great

by ken on 5/31/24Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

I found very high pitch that felt kind of unpleasant. S and G are more melodic in person.
