What could possibly top seeing all the world's best golfers in one tournament at one of the most beautiful courses on the planet. The weather was summer perfect (in January!), the winds at minimum. Watching Reed hit an eagle and Spieth a birdie on the 18th was a memory to savor.
Best Golf Tournament in Hawaii ever. The best players in the game come to Maui every year to treat us to the best veiwing money can buy. I need tickets for next year! Come see it with me.
Kapalua Plantation is an unforgettably scenic and demanding course. Over our 2 day attendance, we walked 2/3 of the holes, following various players. In fact, because the field was so small, we saw each and every player play up close and personal several times. The weather was perfect and on most holes we could see the outer islands in the distance with whales and surfers happily playing in the ocean. We took the FREE (yes free) shuttle bus from Honua Kai which ran on a very regular basis throughout each day with no long waits. The only downfall was the food was very limited for vegans. No salad, vegetable or veggie wraps.
Watching the pro's play golf in person was great. Loved the location and following some of our favorites. Putting faces to names that I can follow all year long will make the experience last even longer. Beautiful location and we would definitely come again.
I and my wife really enjoyed watching real PGA top players playing just in front of us. We also bought tickets to allow us using the club house. we had breakfast and lunch there. They served fantastic meals and the service was good.
Great event however our tickets indicated that we had a seat assignment however when we arrived we were informed that there were NO seats assigned.
The golf course is is very spread out and very hilly but access to holes 1,2, 9, and 18 is easy. Small crowds so seeing the players and shots is easy. Good shuttle service to and from the course.
My wife & I got sick & were unable to attend the tournament. We have gone many times in the past & always enjoy. We hated to miss this year;

There was no option to buy a ticket for just the pro-am, so we had to buy the "Good any 1 day ticket". The pro-am is not what is used to be. No celebs this year, just rich people paying money to play with the golfers. This day should be half price to enter. Or free like it was when Mercedes was the sponsor. We will not attend a pro-am day at this tournament again. It's still a beautiful course to walk, and we would probably go to a tournament day. This pro-am day even looked frustrating to the pros. I'm sure they'd like to play with the celebs and pro athletes too! We've seen John Elway (granted he was busy this year!), Greg Kinnear, Kevin Dillon (when he was still doing Entourage), and others there in years past. I guess Hyundai is trying to recoup their sponsorship money by charging high ticket prices for fans, charging high prices to play with the pros, and not footing the bill to get some fun people to watch. The Ryder Cup Pro-Am was some major fun! Bill Murray, Justin Timberlake... That's how to do it!
The weather was perfect for this year's tournament. The crowds at Kapalua are very manageable, the players friendly, the food at the clubhouse excellent and the views spectacular! This year's added bonus was a playoff. Our favorite tournament to watch live.
Could not have been a more perfect day! Organizers did a great job on transporting fans to and from the course. Great up close views of the players. Would be nice if this event was a mandatory attend for ALL winners.
Very well organized event! Everyone was nice, weather was perfect! Getting to the venue was very easy due to signage and bus shuttles. I probably wouldn't buy the clubhouse tickets again as the only benefit was eating in the restaurant. You could go in the bar with grounds admission which has the same food. Maybe a clubhouse seating with paid bar at 18 would make it worth the price difference! Thanks! I would also make a bigger seating area in the "beer garden" at 11. A lot of people wanted beer but didn't want to stand.
IS THERE A BETTER PLACE TO HOLD A GOLF TOURNAMENT? PLENTY OF THINGS TO DO WHEN NOT AT THE TOURNAMENT AND FANTASTIC WEATHER. WHALES OFF SHORE, SHOPPING, AND PLENTY OF GOLF COURSES TO PLAY.

It was great to see golf professionals play at the Kapalua plantation course. I watched two rounds of the total tournament, the second and final round. The caliber of golf the players displayed was great. The pace of the round was fast but it made it better because I had to hustle to stay near the groups I was watching. Their shot making was great and their putting was equally as good. I enjoyed giving them a golf clap with the rest of the spectators at every amazing shot and putt. I would definitely attend this event again.
Super well run. Easy parking, reasonable concessions. A little disappointed in the merchandise available for sale. I did not buy anything. Best bargain on Maui!!!!
My first time to watch a tour event. Watched all the golfers tee off on the first hole. We then went to the 11th tee and was able to watch four different holes. We watched all the golfers play 11. This is a beautiful course. The views were amazing. We then went to 18 to watch some of them finish. Overall the whole experience was great. If I have a chance to go again I will with out a doubt take it.
I liked the golf but when I reviewed my charges there was a 20 dollar charge for membership that I didn't want.
Bought 4 tickets to go watch on Saturday and the event was cancelled. Ticketmaster would not refund. Will not use ticketmaster again.
