The Score was fantastic, but HOB fell short

by Epope on 10/6/18House of Blues Cleveland presented by Cricket Wireless - Cleveland

The bnd was incredible; venue was a clusterf*ck. There were 2 shows, and we were given wristbands (for drinking) without being asked what show we were attending. We had no idea there was a difference in color, but there was. Then inside, when our tickets were scanned, we were given access to the WRONG show. Not sure how that's possible but we didn't know better, this was only our 2nd time at this venue. So we missed the first 90 minutes being in the wrong part of the venue. Somehow, no one caught on at the gate when our ti kets were scanned- and accepted?- and we didnt realize the error until we'd listened to the first opening act, checked our tickets again and saw that our band was in a different room. Not happy with House of Blues, there should have been way more clarificarion if they were going to have 2 shows, 2 different color wristbands and still not sure how our tickets were able to be scanned and grant us access to the wrong concert.

    The Score was AMAZING!!!!!

by luvthescore on 9/16/18House of Blues San Diego presented by Cricket Wireless - San Diego

This concert was incredible!! The venue was really intimate and even though my friend and I were about 5 people back, we were so close to the stage. I even got to talk to two of the three bands afterwards, even if only briefly. I hadn't heard of either opening act (birthday or Cemetery Sun) before the concert but I'm a fan of both now! The Score was amazing live and I can't recommend them enough. The one qualm I had was that the music was so loud, it sounded a bit distorted at times, but hey, it was a rock concert so I can't complain too much.

    The Score exceeded expectations

by AmandaJoy1128 on 9/14/18House of Blues San Diego presented by Cricket Wireless - San Diego

The Score was beyond worth it. They did a fantastic job. The openers were good too! I had never heard of Birthday and Cementary Sun but they were super good. I like Birthday’s vibe and Cementary Sun has a group of great musicians. But back to The Score, they blew it out of the water! They sound great live! My only complaint is that the music was a little loud for the amount of people that were in that size of a venue.

    Great performers

by dlovesg on 6/26/18Fonda Theater - Los Angeles

I became interested in the band while watching a Jeep commercial. I quickly got out Shazam to find out who was singing. Heard their music and was hooked. Bought tickets to their concert and was not disappointed. Great show and great guys!

    OUTSTANDING!!!

by GigglingChicken on 1/15/18The Record Bar - Kansas City

I stumbled upon The Score while searching for another song on Spotify. I fell in love with Revolution and then the entire album. When I found out that they were coming to Kansas City, it was a no-brainer that I was going to get tickets. The venue is a wonderful size, very cozy and creates an immersive experience. It wasn't too hot or too cold. We arrived at the venue early enough to nab spots right next to the stage! The Westside Royals were a local band that opened for the show. They were very entertaining. If they hadn't mentioned it, I would have never known that their drummer was actually a group member standing in (and had recently received a crash course in drumming) for their actual drummer who was out of town. Castlecomer was definitely not a local band. Hailing from Australia, they were touring with The Score and I believe that Dec. 16th was their last show before going home for the holidays. I wish I would have known some of their songs beforehand, it would have made their performance even better. As such, they were fantastic! Lively, quirky, and genuinely nice guys. The Score was well worth the wait to see and I can't wait to see them again. They sound better live and they had such great energy. The nice thing about small venues, is that more than likely there is a chance that you are able to meet the artists. Westside Royals left almost immediately after they finished their set. Everyone from Castlecomer was extremely sweet, accommodating, and very easy to talk to. Eddie and Edan from The Score were swarmed by fans after their performance, but they made sure to make everyone feel special. The tickets were extremely affordable. It would be nice if tickets would cost this much as a standard, but I would be willing to pay more money in the future to be able to see both Castlecomer and The Score.

    Best concert ever

by HB08 on 11/1/17The Parish at House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

Great new venue for house of blues. Moved from downtown Disney to a new shopping center mall, so it's bigger now. Concert was amazing, new band with first album that just came out. Best set ever!
