The Rolling Stones on Tour
If anyone were ever after a definition of rock 'n' roll, one Rolling Stones song would be worth a thousand words. When it comes to large-scale rock tours, there's nobody more experienced than the Stones at making a capacious arena concert feel like a down 'n' dirty roadhouse gig. That the Stones' excursions have been some of the most successful tours in history — from the mid-'90s Voodoo Lounge Tour to the early-'00s Licks Tour and beyond — is emblematic of how much their music speaks to their millions of fans across the globe. And even after all these decades, when Mick Jagger struts, sways, shouts and croons, and Keith Richards reaches deep into wherever his mojo comes from and rings out those raw, immortal riffs of his, there's an indefinable magic in the air — the kind that rock 'n' roll legends are made of.
The Rolling Stones in Concert
The Rolling Stones started out as part of the so-called British Invasion that overwhelmed American ears in the mid '60s, but alone among their contemporaries they've managed to move with the times and remain vital. The Stones have gone through many eras of musical evolution along the way, of course. In their early years they were obsessed with American blues and R&B, and they channeled those influences into their own brand of raw-boned rock 'n' roll. Before the '60s were over they'd experimented with everything from baroque pop to tripped-out psychedelia. But by the early '70s the Stones had returned to their roots on legendary albums like Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main St. They subsequently found their way into funk, disco and more. In the '90s they incorporated electronics into their production without abandoning their rootsy magic. And after the turn of the millennium, the Stones found new ways to connect with their early inspirations, as on their 2016 LP Blue & Lonesome. Astonishingly, through it all they've managed to hold tightly onto their hard-earned tag, The World's Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band.

We had a terrific time. The Stones are still worth every penny spent to see them. Post-show traffic not so good. It took 2 hours to exit the parking lot and another 45 minutes to get to the hotel 5 miles away.
It took us longer to get out of the parking lot than we got to listen to The Rolling Stones. Stones were amazing … parking lot was a bummer.
Great concert. All went as scheduled. Sound was crisp and clear.
The Rolling Stones are better now than 50 years ago. The greatest rock and roll band in the world! The GOAT!!!!!!!👅👅👅👅👅👅👅
Other than traffic getting into parking lot the concert was perfect. Easy to buy merch get to concessions and get to seats. Sound and on stage presentation was awesome!
The concert was terrific but the costs of the tickets were outrageous due to Ticketmaster which has a monopoly and jacks up the prices inappropriately.
I absolutely loved seeing them again!!! They put on a fabulous concert of oldies and new songs! Mick Jagger still has it!!!
The Rolling Stones still have “IT”! I saw them first on their Voodoo Lounge tour, ‘94-‘95 era. It was fantastic and you would never imagine after all this time that they still are amazing. I especially loved the female back-up singer, her powerful voice was magic when she sang a duet with Mick!!! 💕💕💕
I imagine this has to be the last Stones concert that I will ever see and probably that they will play again. Mick was amazing, the energy lasted from the 1st song to the last. He is the ultimate showman and worth to see him do his thing. Keith and Ronnie were good, played there licks but I didn't get much of a feeling of energy from the two of them. The sound finally got balanced past half of the concert. Emotional Rescue was a drone of too loud bass and drums. Really lost the sprit of the song. On the other hand Paint it Black, Sympathy for the Devil, Jumping Jack Flash, Honky Tonk Woman were all excellent. A few of the new tunes were also performed but the sound system did them no favors. All in all a good concert but not worth the $500/seat ticket price for a seat in the 300 section!! Not the best place to see a concert, Fenway Park does a much better job on the sound...
Still rocking as good as ever! Incredible energy by our favorite octogenarians!
Mick Jagger was awesome! Great energy, Keith Richard sang several songs so beautifully, great job. And New drummer rocks! So worth going.
The night was amazing, the Stones played for 2 hours of classic hits and a few new hits from their new album . It was the 10th time seeing the Stones and I hope for an 11th. Club seats were fantastic as well as the benefits of club seating, and employees at Gillette were helpful and accommodating .
An awesome 2 plus hour show. A few new songs, which were excellent, salt and peppered in with all the classics. Seen 8 Stones shows, always thinking it may be their last. They keep fooling me, thankfully.
Great concert. It was my second time seeing the Rolling Stones at Gillette Stadium and it was not disappointing. I had a great seat with a great view. Mick Jagger, Ron Wood and Keith Richards are still amazing!
Great show… Mick was as high energy as he was in his 40s… Performance was amazing ❤️❤️❤️ loved hearing an incredible blend of new and old songs🤘🤘 I would definitely go see them again if I ever get the chance… Rock on gentlemen🤘🤘 this was my first concert at Gillette Stadium… I would definitely go back again
The Stones were better than ever. Every song was terrific, although Midnight Rambler and Gimme Shelter stood out as particularly outstanding. They played 2 hours. I wish they had ditched the not-very-good lead-in band and played longer. Their "back up singer", Shanelle (I hope I spelled that correctly) was outstanding, and the entire band was very tight. This may seem like a too-obvious comment, but it sounded to me like the band had rehearsed a lot, and this contributed greatly to the very high level of their performance.
Such a great show! I never too my eyes off the stage from start to finish. I especially love that they did 4 songs from Hackney Diamonds, which is an instant classic Stones album!
Two full hours of rock and roll, great set list, loads of energy
The venue was great and the Stones sounded better than they did in the 70s...HaHaHa!
